As far i ve read and seen around me a wife cant testify against her husband if she does not want to. Siddhi loves kunal knows he is innocent so i think siddhi should call thakral s bluff and refuse to testify against her husband as the law gives her the choice. That would be equivalent to kunal winning the case as there are no proofs if siddhi refuses richas plans backfires.

hey good thought!!

as per law there are many things in this case, that can be classified as right or wrong...yesterday when thakral was prosecuting in the court, he had no right to call kunal a attempted rapist nor he had any right to call siddhi to testify without any court summons. and the defendant lawyer has the right to know prosecutions witnesses apart from that whenever kunal objected in the court, the stupid judge kept overruling it!! the way thakral was talking about kunal in the court without proving him guilty i would have sustained tahkral from talking derogatory things about anybody without proving it in the court...and what if siddhi hadnt turned up at the court...thakral would have sent somebody to their place to get her to testify against her husband!!

somebody in the forum has commented before that IPC section 511 cannot be used to punish the attempted rapist..section 511 deals with attempts to commit offences like murder as such offences carry a punishment of life inprisonment. section 354 would have been the right section for sexual assault and using criminal force against women.

well as i say ...i am talking logic sense and law here...which is obviously missing in this case!!

if they really want to prove kunal innocent, there are 1000 evidences to prove him innocent but ...hey who wants to use brains!!

so i would advice if we want to watch this show, we should enjoy just for the sake of sinals chemistry rest all, my dear friend, in this serial is a mystery!!

It is called The spousal testimonial privilege (a.k.a. "spousal immunity") the defendant's spouse can refuse to testify against the defendant, provided the defendant prevents his spouse from testifying against him. So Kunal has to do what he did best in yesterdays episode. He has to say "I object your honor"😛

But then how will they drag the case for 3-4 weeks. How will they show more drama, more tears,😭 more MUs 😆

Very true.There are loopholes spread across the case.

Siddhi can decide not to testify adgainst her husband.What will Thakral do ? Try and convince the judge that something is cooking,if Kunal did nothing wrong then why is Siddhi refusing to testify.Again another attack assault on Kunal's character.And I am sure Kunal himself will ask Siddhi to testify.

IPC 511 means an attempt to commit anything that is punishable with imprisonment for life or any other imprisonment. (murder ,rape, theft etc).IPC 354 refers to any act that outrages the modesty of a woman.IPC 375 deals with rape.So I guess 511 along with 354 was filed on Kunal ,I think Thakral explains it out to that guy whom he goes to get Kunal debarred.

What Siddhi saw that day does not prove Kunal guilty,infact it can be used against Ritcha ,but it all depends on how its presented.

Hey thnx for reminding me...yes he does mention it to that guy but he says section 511 and section 376. now i think section 376 is for punishment for rape!!. in any case the whole of indian penal code is used upside down in this show!! i hope no lawyers watch this show or else they would probably be sitting scratching their heads trying to think ke shehar ka sabse bada lawyer DK Thakral aakhir itna famous bana kaise!!!😆😆😆

nice post...but this would have happened only had cvs cared to show potray things sensibily...which is not at all the case here...moreover they hell bent on showing siddhi fighting the case...to add more drama , masala etc...hence they will never make use of something as intellgent as this thought...

does he say 376 well I am not sure about hindi numerals beyond 20 😛
