Feb 21 - Siddhi the reason for Kunal's downfall

Did anyone notice today Garav was in court? Does that mean daddyji is allowing him to go and next we will see something happen on that front. Also why was Vikram looking so angry? It was good to see Raj all cheerful and confident on his son;s abilities however I do think he getting ahead of himself when he said that Kunal is sure to get the case dismissed. Being confident in Kunal is one thing but he knows Thakral and to assume that it would be a cake walk was irrational.

Does Richa get to sit and not be on the witness stand? Isn't that where it was left last week that Richa would testify today once she had her emotions in check. However without giving her a chance Kunal just starts out wanting the dismissal of the case. I am no lawyer but I would think if it was just that Kunal could have done it last week itself. As usual Siddhi was tensed which again shows she is not confident. I am not saying she needed to be happy but atleast she needed to show her support by being in agreement. It would have been nice to see her actually being optimistic that the judge might actually rule in Kunal's favor.

Now to the part I was excitedly waiting for since yesterday. To see how Thakral changes the course of the case as he said and with Siddhi as the witness. What's this even before the case starts we have a break. Hopefully in this break Siddhi will talk to Kunal but I have a feeling that one thing they have showed consistently is muted Siddhi so she is sure to do the same. Thank god Kunal did not hit Rohit as that would have been a weak reason for him not to be able to defend himself. BTW why do we see each of the characters in different places in the court? Should they not be together trying to understand and sort out stuff? Kunal instead is out trying to keep Rohit away from Raveena instead of trying to talk to Siddhi. Atleast Seema did ask her and I would have thought Siddhi would have told her. I am sure that Seema would have been able to help Siddhi clear her mind on what might have taken place that night if only Siddhi told her.

ThaNal confrontration just when they were called in I thought would leave some doubts in Thakral's mind but however it seemed to give him the upper hand. He knew that Kunal would not be able to hear a word against his family and his suspicions were confirmed again the way Kunal threatened him. Siddhi see what all Kunal does for you and what do you do in return. Remain muted to the facts and decide to let fate runs its course hoping it will be in Kunal's favor.

She knew that Thakral was not going to hand the questions in a plate and I would think she would atleast act .I did not expect this from a lawyer who preps their witness, They know that the prosecution will always try to bagger a witness ot get out the truth. Here she actually fell for that resulting her in blurting out. She needs to learn from Richa to keep mum and like Thakral maybe Kunal could have also taken permission from court to resume the trial another day.

When Siddhi is expected to speak she remains quiet and when she is supposed to be quiet she speaks. I won't blame Kunal if he got angry as anyone would have got angry at this point to know that they have been deceived by their own. Now Thakral did not know that the SiNal consummated that night so how does he then accuse Kunal of the action. IT might have been Thakral was shooting in the dark but unfortunately for Kunal even though it was not a rape for him it was still not the right thing. Now that guilt with the masala is why we are going to see Kunal lose his cool and take it out on Thakral thus resulting his inability to continue to fight the case.

I believe the intended emotion was of tension.😊

Raj has always shown to be an optimist.Why blame Raj of thinking the case would be a cake walk when gold medalist Kunal Chopra thought that despite having studied law and practised it .What did he do those three days he got in between the hearings ? Sat at home, fought with his wife over a shirt,had pasta, ruined valentine.What could he have done instead? Let me see for starters try and anticipate Thakral's couter attack.Visited the venue of supposed crime,I know he knows he is innocent but he could have gone there to know whether Thakral came by if so what did he try find out,after all this guy went to all lengths to destroy him 6 years back.No Mr 'I am the best' sat at home and thought Thakral would meekly bow down to his fabricated story.Case dismissed.

Well I believe there is a reason why Thakral introduced Siddhi as a witness just before the break.If Kunal and Siddhi had talked during the break after her being declared as a witness then Thakral could have termed it as 'trying to influence the witness' and used that against Kunal.So I am glad that did not happen.If Kunal is going to stopped from fighting the case then it better be because he beats up Thakral.

Siddhi has no doubts regarding Kunals innocence.She is just worried about what Thakral is going to throw at them.And yes she could have told Seema,but that would not have helped the court case,moreover after all being a wife having to admit seeing your husband in an other womans embrace is a pretty tough thing.

Yes exactly what Siddhi warned him in the first place.I loved the confrontation.I loved the way Kunal stood up for Siddhi,loved to see the love and care.Loved Kunal's dialogue about 'Dhobi Ghat' and 'Beware of Kunal Chopra'.But having said all this Mr Kunal Chopra go admit this to yourself first and then to your wife, then we can think about showcasing your fabulous love story to the whole world.By the way how come Siddhi always overhears Kunal and he never does?

I have always justified Siddhi's muteness, but sorry not for this one.I agree the engagement night you got carried away with your emotions and desire,I agree that after that your darling husband dropped a divorce bomb on you,but when Thakral filed a case against your husband couldn't you have told him about visiting the venue that day and what you saw, you knew the waiter saw you,what did they teach you at law school?did it not occur to you that Thakral might find that out.Sorry Siddhi you are rsponsible for the dilemma you are putting yourself ,Kunal and the entire Chopra clan through with this one.

Maybe, or else he is just assuming that happened by connecting the dots between divorce and the engagement day.As far as he knows Kunal tried to rape his daughter but did not succeed,then what does a man so charged up do he wonders ,go home take it out on his wife on whom he has a legal right.After a day the couple files for divorce,hmm what are the odds... this means the happenings on the engament day are infact consequential for the divorce(which is true , thought not in the way Thakralthinks it is) ,so he assumes this is what happened.
