So we started off with hatred and disliking. Mind you, we underestimate these two feelings on the 'Love Scale' because they are just anti-thesis of what love means but they are just as consuming and lethal as love is. Just the way you cant stop thinking about the person you love, when enmity grips you, you cant stop thinking about that person either.
Sinal never reached that level in disliking each other but it surely began that way. It soon turned into grief and empathy that often accompanies it. They both loved the same person and they lost it. It was a void both understood very well. Friendship sneaked in without even realizing it.
They held hands, albeit forcibly, danced with a passion that would shame even the most loving couple on the earth, albeit the passion resulted from mistrust and misunderstanding and not love.
They shared some cute little moments that actually make up our life, albeit we never offer them their due credit. They shared their pain, struggle and insecurities. They offered each other the much needed shoulder to cry on, they fumbled, stumbled and fell in each other's arms. Meanwhile Siddhi fell in love, irrevocably and hopelessly. She isn't much of an initiator and would rather wait for Kunal to take the lead. With every inch of distance they cut short between each other, she grew more and more unconditionally in love with the man. He however remained oblivious to the fact that Siddhi loves him and no one else – not even his dead brother. He went one step ahead in being ignorant. He did not realize his own feelings till the drunken stupor and high voltage drama in Witcha's engagement party made him blurt it out. He wouldn't accept it though cause he still believes that Siddhi loves Anand.
Finally, they reached the high point in their relationship as they consummated, not because they were drunk but because they found the solace in each other's arms. For Siddhi it was the mute acceptance of her feelings and for Kunal, it was something he wanted all along but could never fathom courage to initiate.
And still we do not have the man, the gold medalist realizing how he feels for Siddhi. Soon he will. In the court. I am sure as Thakku grills Siddhi and her tear taps flow open, Kunal will stand in between to take on the insult and injury head on for his dear wife and in a way that would have him commit contempt of the court and be thrown out.
He will no longer be able to fight the case but he may end up curbing down his denial for his feelings for Siddhi. While poor Siddhi was hoping and praying for a single word of love and reciprocation for her feelings, she might experience the biggest surprise of her life as Kunal accepts his love and feelings for his wife, in front of the court. Witcha's face would be worth seeing.
Do you think Kunal would respect Siddhi's feelings while disrespecting the court?
