Kunal needs flashcards of Love, all men do!!!

I know off late I have been blaming Kunal's dumbness on this one reason but I cant help it. When I see him on screen, all confused and befuddled, this comes to my mind that he is NOT dumb. He is just a man!!! 😆

This is a very fundamental difference between men and women. Men were supposed to go out, hunt and provide for their family. Women were supposed to stay back at home, cook and nurture the offspring. The former required men to be sharp in the sense of reflexes, be physically more powerful while the later required women to be intuitive to take care of children that wont be able to speak for a good year or two before they can speak up.

This subtle yet most important difference has been carried over from the cavemen days to the metrosexual men. Its not just Kunal that need flashcards with bold italic and underlined letters of love but every man. (may be barring Cancerian men but again Cancer is a feminine sunsign 😉). If you hate them, threaten their kingdom, they will know. It's the hunting reflexes. If you love them and care for them, they wont know unless you dissect it for them. So if Siddhi loves him, she needs to speak up. Actions do speak louder than words but men very unfortunately are deaf to those sounds!

Since everyone is saying that his expressions were grim while asking her to get ready, he might just lecture her over their 6 months Divorce period or ask her how could she forget about Anand and drag her on the guilt trip he usually takes himself!

I want Siddhi to open up and SPEAK at that time. Just tell him very matter of factly that she loves him. A relationship between a girl friend and boy friend (with no physical lovemaking done yet) is very very very different than a relationship that a conjugal married couple shares! She may not be able to put it all across, no holds bar but I want her to hint that the night has changed things between them and by that she doesn't mean that 'it' started anything or the fact that they slept together 'compels' her to be in love but that she already was and hence the moments they spent together make her feel happy and not guilty.

What Kunal decides will remain to be seen but she should at least come clean with her own feelings so that next time when Kunal opens his mouth, he understands that he is speaking not only to a woman he wed but also to a woman who loves him deeply. Even the most toughest guys go soft while talking to a woman that they know loves them. I read it somewhere that the most sexy woman for a man is the one who has expressed her love to him. I think its high time Siddhi tries it out!

He is a man, but isnt he a poet, which makes him or should make him very thoughtful? emotional or feminine or whatever?

But someimtes words are also needed, else the other person is confused beacuse actions can be misinterpretted, it is always tough to say whether actions alon are sufficient, sometimes just sometimes words are needed to clear the doubts?

I agree though, that if now also she doesnt speak its a gone case..but she will speak up..however I feel Kunal may be polite too

I so agree with your post 'men' uff kya cheez banayi bhagwan ne. Talk to them bout phones/cars/sports etc they are 'know all' . talk to them bout 'love' u get a blank expression 😆

hey kshiti , was missing ur posts alot...welcome back...nd i fully agree with each nd every word of urs ..its high time that siddhi finally opens up nd gathers the courage to tell kunal her feelings for him ..it will seriously clearl all the misunderstandiings nd confusions between them ..unless and until siddhi acts , kunal is soo not going to respond nd ll continue to be like he is off late ..siddhi needs to make it clear that shez no longer in love with anand , she has moved on nd now only nd only kunal matters to her , he is her life ...she needs to explain to him dat that night was the most beautiful moment of her life nd their is no chance of regertting it ...eve for a sec...but as norzar is saying cvs love to create dramas ...after all they get trp's for it ..so i have this feeling dat once siddhi is able to prove kunal inncocent in court , then only their love story ll begin completly ...lets keep our fingers crossed though...

Hey Kshiti, was waiting for your analysis for so many days! I so agree with everything you say. I've been married to a guy for 7 years after dating him for 6, and he still doesn't understand what I'm feeling! How can I blame poor Kunal? Especially when this girl won't speak and is sending him all the wrong signals too. First the misunderstanding with her crying over Anand's photograph after the lovemaking. Then her sudden agreeability to the divorce as a reverse psychology technique. As far as he is concerned she feels guilty about betraying Anand's memory and so wants a divorce.

I believe that he is going to take her on a friendly dinner. After the big bhashan from Seema he probably feels a little guilty about being overly harsh with her when she asked him not to fight her own case. He realizes that she is really a sweet, shy and timid little girl who's stood by him for so long, who his brother loved a lot and whom he promised to keep happy. He's already heard all her shayari. He will read the one in the card and realize her longing for love. He is not really a bad guy. So just to make her feel good - since she likes to celebrate V day and all - he'll take her for a light hearted dinner - sort of to say, so what if we are going to be divorced in 6 months, we can still be friends. And for Kunal that's a start.

I honestly don't think Siddhi is going to speak anytime soon. Simply because that is her character. Seema always hits the nail on the head. Siddhi is so scared of Kunal - given their pre-marital history, she's still intimidated by him and can't speak to him until she is more than 100% confident of what she is about to say and believes in it strongly. Or until there are desperate times and they call for desperate measures. I really think she will speak only in the court after 6 months when the judge is almost about to grant the divorce.

Kunal loves Siddhi - he admitted as much while being drunk, stopped just short of saying I love you to Siddhi the night of the lovemaking and has told us- the viewer- multiple times when he shares his inner voice. But to him this love is like cheating. How can he covet what his little brother coveted? It doesn't matter that his feelings were reciprocated that night. What he did was wrong and that's that. He strongly believes in black and white. He doesn't forgive people when he believes they have wronged him. How can he forgive himself? So even if Siddhi admits to getting over Anand and loving him, Kunal will have to start believing himself that he is not wronging Anand's memory by loving his fiancee. And that mental journey will take its own path.

So this one is going to go down to the wire folks. Be ready for a long ride. It's going to be like this tamil movie - Mouna Ragam - remade as Kasak in Hindi. The girl who's boyfriend died the day they were going to register their marriage in court is forced to marry someone her father chooses for her because of his health. But after a week or so she asks her husband for a divorce. He steels himself and agrees but the court gives them a 12 month waiting period. The husband uses reverse psychology throughout the movie - being mean to her and reminding her its so that she can get an easy divorce after a year. But slowly they become friends and at the end of a year, he gives her the divorce approved by the court and a ticket home. She tears up the papers and admits to loving him.

Here Siddhi is trying reverse psychology on Kunal, but the problem is she isn't strong enough to pull it off! Every time she is mean to him she starts crying afterwards and Kunal is left wondering if it's because of the guilt. He'll never understand it's love if she doesn't say it!This is not an easy one folks. Brace yourselves :)
