^ That gist is contradictory. You're right, the first statement does seem to be hinting towards Sarja-Niru only because of the statement "forced to get married" but certainly not because of the indication of an existence of contrasting traits. Niru and Chandu were disparate in their cultural views, expectations from life, way of life etc. But they were people who believed in living a good spirited life, being the good Samaritans. So its unclear as to which context the word 'contrasting' was used.
Second, it goes on commenting how its all about ChandNi's survival which is ofcourse a total 360 with the status quo with regards to sacking Chandu.
With these in light, I can't but feel to be a victim of a nasty ploy. Maybe these guys were just confused as ever to begin with and were really in the prototypical stage all along.
