Well i do not knw how CVs of this show perceived the character of Nirupama to be or how they want viewers to perceive it as ? coz from day 1 i m trying to understand her character, and more we see, more she becomes a mystery.

It seems she is suffering from multiple personality disorder. Initially when she came to Mumbai, she was a timid, shy girl yet with a attitude to do something for her father. She was scared for her sister and Albela.
One day she get some money she answers her sister back, threatens to leave house. Next day she losses money she is back to square one.

She used to answer Albela back, but infront of Sarja she became a scared kitten. But when Sarja mellowed down and asked for forgiveness, she slapped him. Again on lonely road, she was scared of him, but when he confessed his love, she was again this bold lady. 😕

Coming to Chandu, with him she is completely different, she acts like this bholi-bhali, abla naari, who needs protection, support, who is lost in this big bad world.

So now i m confused, what exactly is Nirupama?

Initially i thought it was due to bad acting of Bhavna, now i dnt knw, either writers are confused, or they are trying to show her as too many things at same time. Sometimes i feel, this show is made only to promote Bhavna.

But all this things are adding to very bad story telling. I wish they would have a proper character sketch for Nirupama.

Clearly CVs themselves are not sure about niru's character. They are making her soft, when she is with chandu (so that he can like her) and now with sarja, she has become bold (like scolded him in the hospital scene as well), again so sarje finds her interesting. Her character is poorly written, it seems.

Many ppl are saying CVs want to promote her. How they intend to promote her, when her character is written badly and no one seems relate to her. Its not just bad acting, its more because of bad writing and presentation.

Understanding Niru and relating her to someone who have seen, is totally out of question. Everyone has failed to understand what her characteristics are really. Many times she looks selfish too as she just thinks about herself. Her norms and behavior changes as per condition around her. As Andy pointed out, when she had money she was showing tantraum to Shardaa for leaving house and next moment she lost it, she was again scary goat and seek help from Albela whom she is irritated of.

I think both boys are so much blind in love.........

Exactly Darshana, she seems like this manipulative girl at times, who just uses people around her to her advantage. And thats one of the main reasons that show is not working, coz ppl just cant relate to girl.

Today also, knowing Sarja was wrong, i felt more bad for him than Niru, y?coz of the way her character has been shown, if she hated him so much, y did she accept the job and money from him, and she was just too happy that time

Actually its kinda weird that 3 ppl are mad abt this girl.

arre if this show is made to promote only BK, her role will not be so confusing , it will be clear cut and it will be one of the guys role which will be complete mess

Well , Honestly . If i am not wrong , Niru was suppose to be strong , caring , bold person ........... but in showing this sides of her they are horiibly mesing as they dont know how to show it properly , Both brothers had seen her sides of anger and care , ............... execution was so lame .... dont want to comment .........

Yes, she was shown selfish , mean , taking chandu for granted and using sarja as per her situation ...... complete mess

Ermm to be honest I agree that Niru's character is quite confusing and they are messing with it big time.. They had been doing it since the start.. She was shown selfish at times I agree..

But she is shown sweet and nice to Chandu bcoz he is that way to her.. I mean her attitude and behaviour with Chandu is justified..

Same for Sarja.. She told him 1000 times that he is no one special.. She saved his life bcoz of humanity and even if Albela was there she would have done the same.. So now its Sarja who is forcing himself upon her.. And to be very honest if I am in that situation I would have acted the same way as Niru did.. So Niru is fed up of all this and that is why acting this bold types..

Like Sarja had already made a bad image on her like showing her that he's a goon and can do anything.. (Highlight is the tree cornering scene).. So obviously after that Sarja proposing her, then she'd take her anger out nah! So she took it out here.. Even though I was highly disappointed when she did not run away at the tree cornering scene..

I dont find her character confused with Chandu and Sarja.. With Chandu she should be acting that way unless Chandu does something wrong and she acts rudely to him.. And for Sarja Ive justified above..

But yes I do find her character confused with the other characters.. Esp with Albela as you all mentioned..

What Ive made out of this character is that she's a mixture of sweetness and boldness too.. Thats what I think.. 😊

I must confess that i haven't been very regular at watching the seial. I watched it in the beginning and then lost touch of it somewhere in the middle. Now i am back to watching it. Pardon me if i go wrong in understanding Niru's character because my assumptions will be based on what i have seen😊

I think with Niru she is good and polite with people who are good to her and tough with the ones who take advantage of her. Most of us too behave in the same way.. I personally don't feel she is a complex character.. Infact today i was surprised how she handled sarja!!! any other girl would have cried buckets and begged of sarja to let her go. she wasnt scared of him today but irritated with him. With Chandu she is grateful to him for helping her out when she was new in a city where her own sister made things difficult for her.

We must not forget that she is was new to Mumbai and was still settling in. Anyone settling in a new city always tries to adjust to the culture and people whether they like it or not. But once settled they get the confidence. Infact i like that they are not showing Niru's character very vulnerable. She may not be an ideal heroine but i dont find her too confusing either... I don't know in future how the CV's handle her character but for now i find her quite good...

i do understand that Niru was right in behaving that way when it comes to Sarja yesterday...... as he was forcing her to do the way he desires....... but fact still remains her character is confusing...... and cvs often don't justify why her character behaves that way in a certain situation.........

Firstly Niru's character came to Mumbai for getting her father treated...... what happened to that......agreed Chandu has promised to take care of Baba too....... but don't you all feel it would have looked good had she started off with the treatment....... as she promised someone at the village she would not fall in love/marry for her Baba........

When she took the advance & the job from Sarja........ she agreed to wear that kind of dress because of her Baba....... but when Chandu asked her to wear a uniform which was better than the previous dress..... she was like how can she wear this......... that time she forgot she has to earn for Baba???

I want the cvs to throw more light on her character..... also am seeing BK's doing really good in angry & scared scenes......... but they need to explore her more in emotional scenes as that would connect her more to the audience........ till now i haven't actually felt the emotional side of Niru...... maybe because of that i'm not able to relate to her character.........

@Nishi, her yesterday's behavior was more justified... but not other times....... Many times she behaves differently with Sarjaa, Albela and Shardaa. I guess only person with whom her behavior is consistent is Chandu.

So true....one can never expect what would come out of this girl's mouth. I think Nirupama is a character in the making, but right now she really is nothing, no essence you see, just diff flavors. Besides, I can't believe how she humiliated Sarjae today, won't be surprised if he turns obsessive now!!...

P.S Nirupama seriously lacks tactfulness
