As far as I can remember, there are other jobs in the world that do not involve a sexual element. Let's see there are convenience stores, factories, bakeries, libraries, coffee shops, flower shops, fast-food restaurants, banquet halls etc.

Not everything needs to be sexualized and set up in a manner to put the woman in distress just so that the male hero can sweep in and save her.

Well, to start with it is illegal for a tourist to work and earn money abroad. You need to have visa that permits you to work. You can't just randomly work. Honestly, the crackdown in the UK, and rightly so, on immigrants (which affects honest people/students who are actually qualified) is because people come here on a tourist visa and end up staying and over staying and working for a lower wage.
