Let's agree to disagree. I don't think that the dip in trp have anything to do with Bollywood boycott trend, as most of trp audience don't even know about it. They watch tv because SM is complicated for them and tv is there comfort zone.
Take my mother for example. Her favourite shows are ghum and Anupama. Ghum comes at 8 and anupama at 10 and in between nobody is allowed to change channel. Vese mammy bich k shows dekhti nahi h but tv on rahegi aur mammy apne kisi kaam me lag jaayengi aur tv pe star plus hi chalega. Initially mammy ko Imlie bhi pasand tha but Malini k vamp bante hi mammy ne voh chod diya tha aur abhi unhe banni pasand aane laga h. But still her no. 1 show is ghum and no. 2 anupama.
But when she started watching rwsp, Imlie instantly became her favourite. Ayesha is her second favourite infact initially to rupali Ganguly bhi acchi lagi thi 1-2 episode tak but fir mammy ko bhi lagne laga ki anupama ko dikhte to bohot h rwsp me lekin voh itna entertain nahi karti. Though her favourite shows are still ghum and Anupama and Sai to maano jaise unki apni beti ho aur anupama koi bachpan ki bichadi saheli but rwsp voh Imlie k liye dekti h. Imlie show voh abhi bhi nahi dekhti. Her favourite episode till know is banni ki shadi. She was excited from the time she saw the precap where Imlie was dancing on say na say na... And in that episode she instantly developed an liking for kd also. Infact made an comment about Imlie and kd being siblings because they were so similar.
And I don't think sambul is attention seeker. I think she is one of those people who knows the art of becoming the centre of attraction easily. Just like KD.

Yrkkh vale uncle ji (is liye nahi kyunki unhone pehle episode me lead Ben ki baizzati ki thi but because he is genuinely really entertaining and also plays well, pehle sun k mujhe bhi ajeeb laga tha because me dekhti nahi thi sirf insta pe clips dekhti thi but janmashtami episode mene dekha and usme kdice k baad mere fav bhi yrkkh vaale uncle hi the! Alag level ki energy h unme)

Sumbul is pretty talented and I don't find her attention seeker. Rather it is the way Sitara is editing the episodes.
TRP is not due to boycott BW rather it is about Audience of ITV and Movies being different.
This show is about families of Sitara not about Movie actors
Many say Maa show and Tamarind show are bringing trp
Then why they didn't brought trp when Ranbir came ?
As these 2 were the only 2 families in that episode, it got lesser trp then *this week.
This is the normal trp of rwsp, it got high bcoz others too got ss.
Do I think PS deserves ss ?
No
They don't bcoz except KD no one can give much entertainment to the show
But yhc deserved a chance
For me in Anupama show only the actor playing Toshu looks like a good dancer, but is he getting to come and show his skills ?

TRP Audience is very different from TRP Audience
They don't watch a show for an actor, they watch it for a story, bhale it makes sense or not, whether the actors are doing bad acting, nahi toh Ghum won't have ever be table toppers.
Regular serial ki Audience isn't watching rwsp
Bcoz these 2 shows have got highest appearance still the highest clocking trp episodes are those in which other families too were included.
Problem is not the Actors but Channel
As they are not handling the show well.
