Epilogue
I count to three and then I want your ass down from that tree, do you hear me! oneeeee……….if you are not down by the last second, I will take away all your game consoles, so do I need to keep counting? Raavi was standing under the tree with her hands on her hips, looking at her six year old son, Naks. He was the spitting image of his father not only from the outside but also his character. ‘’Naks, I mean it, twoooo’’, Raavi screamed. She heard a chuckle and with a furious gaze she looked at her husband who was standing beside her. ‘’So you think this is funny Shiva Pandya? You think it’s funny that your son, stole my engagement ring and gave it to Shreya?’’ she said the words between gritted teeth. He shrugged his shoulder and he knew at that moment that his wife wouldn’t appreciate that move. She was shooting fire with her eyes right now and she was still the most beautiful girl he ever met. Yes,12 years together and 8 years of marriage. One beautiful and sweet son, and a daughter on the way. He looked at his pregnant wife. He was one happy man right now and if he admitted his son has moves. ‘’ Babe, don’t be angry it’s not good for the baby and you have to admit it is cute what he did even if he stole your ring. Our boy got some moves just like his dad,’’ he said to her and gave her a little wink. He saw the anger slip away from her face, ‘’at least our son knows what he wants and didn’t wait a year to confess his love,’’ Raavi said to him with a big smile on her face. He couldn’t hold his laughter anymore, ‘’touché babe. But we both were scared luckily it all worked out.’’ He put his arm around her shoulder and pulled her against his body. Her head resting on his arm, her arm automatic went to his waist to pull him a little bit closer. Yes, it al worked out, this was home. ‘’Okaay, Naks, I’m not mad anymore, so just come down so we can talk,’’ she said looking at her son.
Looking down at his parents who were holding each other and looking at him with love and not with anger he thought it was safe to go down. So carefully he got down of the tree. His mom and dad took him to this tree, one year ago. They told him how they always were together here, talking with each other. So when he heard his mom talking to his teacher on the phone and he heard her shouting, ‘’ Naks took my engagement ring and gave it to his classmate,’’ he knew it was a sign that he should leave the house. So he did and went to tree his parent showed him. He walked to his parents and stopped right before them. His mom sat down and looked him in the eye, ‘’Naks, you know it’s a bad thing to take something that belongs to someone else without asking right,’’ she asked him. He nodded his head in a yes. ‘’So this time I’m not mad, but if this happens again, we have a problem, do you understand?’’ She asked him again. He nodded his head again in yes. ‘’No, Naks use your voice, do you understand,’’ she asked him again. ‘’Yes mom I won’t do it again,’’ he told her. ‘’Good boy’’ she said and gave him a little peck on his cheek and brushed his hair out of his face, her beautiful boy. ‘’Okay, walk to home and wash your hands its dinner time. Dad and I will be behind you,’’she told him and he ran away. ‘’Be careful’’ he heard his mom shouting.
‘’That was some good parenting babe,’’ Shiva told Raavi while helping her stand up. She looked at him with one eyebrow up.‘’Yeah you were so helpful Shiva. it’s not only my son you know’’, she said sarcastically. He nodded his head in a yes. Do you see what I mean, his son is the same. ‘’Use your man voice Shiva,’’ she told him and again he chuckled. Her husband and son made her crazy sometimes but she was so grateful for them in her life, she was happy. She patted her belly, little girl I hope you make your daddy crazy. She looked at Shiva an d he pulled her closer to him, she entwined her fingers in his neck, his arms around her waist, their foreheads pressing together. ‘’I love you Shiva Pandya,’’ she said to him brushing her nose slowly against his. ‘’I love you Raavi Pandya,’’ he told her and he kissed her on her smiling lips. She was never tired hearing those words from his mouth. She still got butterfly’s in her stomach and every day she loved him more.
