HELLO Forum Waasiyos,
It's been a while (ITV is just too much for me at this age and I take really long breaks from it) and boy has Pandya stores gone for a toss (not that it was exemplary at any point but it was okayish I think).
The upcoming episode of Rishitha and her pregnancy is gonna be just too much for any woman who has ever fought for her right to her body. I have no hopes of a decent track from it, tbh.
So all said the below given OS is my attempt at what I think should be a sane track for ShiVi. It follows from my previous OS titled Reticence

Hope you enjoy this one too, so go ahead comment, criticize and give some likes.
RANCOUR
“This looks like a good one” Shiva said, looking at the picture of the building.
“You deduced that from the picture, did you? Raavi asked with an amused raise of her brow.
“I have an intuition about these things” Shiva became defensive.
“Creative way to say you are lazy to read through it” Raavi said with a chuckle.
“What’s use of reading too much? It’s for nerds. I am happy with my stock list and accounts “Shiva replied.
“Reading is a form of travel Mr Shiva Pandya” Raavi retorted “It takes you to so many places in your mind’s eye”
Shiva smiled at the expression in her eyes. It had been a while since he saw that dreamy, happy look in them.
“Anyways, I need a good institution to study Library Sciences from and that does not depend on how good the college building looks” Raavi said shoving another leaflet into Shiva’s hands.
“Out of curiosity mami ki behen ki beti” Raavi wrinkled her brows on that name “ why are you asking me for an opinion?”
Raavi looked uncomfortable for a moment
“I guess you could say I can only trust you in this matter”
“What does that mean?” Shiva was equal amounts curious and worried.
“At home, Mami is already speaking about new alliances and well Mama ji as goodhearted as he is, cannot stand up to her much and in large parts agrees with her” Raavi twirled a booklet in her hand.
“They think that another marriage will solve my problems and somehow magically erase the past” she kept it down and picked up a pen.
“You don’t agree. “Shiva stated “Raavi, I know it’s irksome to hear this, one bad marriage does not mean end of all chances of marital happiness”
“I am not against marriage Shiva but I no longer think of it as my ultimate goal. That was the old Raavi. The one who thought becoming Dev’s wife would mean her life is set”
They fell into a loaded silence. Seated at the very back of Somnath’s only library, they were practically the only people there apart from the librarian. The dusty forlorn books around them spoke volumes of how much their community really cared about the building.
“I am glad you don’t think life is all about marriage. I always thought that was bull crap anyway “Shiva broke the silence.
“Asif you would think anything else” Raavi scoffed, picking up her notebook to doodle in “You have never been interested in anything apart from your family or Pandya Stores, have you?”
Glancing up from her aimless scribbling she found a slightly hurt look on her companion’s face
“Shiva I am sorry, I didn’t mean to hurt you, I just always thought you had single minded focus on few things”
“You assumed like everyone else does” Shiva bit out. He turns his face away, feeling like he had let slip too much
Raavi was silent for a while
“you said we can be friends right, Shiva. Friends talk to each other you know”
After a beat or so Shiva said in a rush
“I don’t know how to read or write in English”
He kept staring away from Raavi resolutely. It was only when he felt a gentle touch on his knee that he dared to look at her. He was equal parts relieved and surprised to see the understanding look on her face
“There is no shame in not knowing something Shiva” she smiled softly at him.
“It’s hard not knowing it. When customers ask me regarding something written in English Ieither direct them to Dev or Krish or just be my usual angry self and this affects the business sometimes. Not too much but it still bothers me and when I am with either of their friends, I have to pretend to understand sometimes orjust plain stay scrolling on my phone” Shiva elaborated glumly.
Raavi did not know what to say. She was coming to realize that there was a lot hidden beneath Shiva Pandya’s anger.
PS:
So yeah, I might sometime in the future continue this track but for now I am letting them hang as Os's because I am lousy at completing stories these days.
