What an update. Simply loved it!! Please bring an update soon. I can't wait
Wonderful update! ❤️
I am loving the restlessness of Shiva and Pandya parivar members as to why Raavi hasn’t reacted to Shiva’s engagement 😆 They all deserve this nightmare for putting Raavi through misery.
Mami can’t wait to rub it on them and she did😆 Now they all know Raavi is already married 😃
I am liking this Raavi, confident, independent and her no-nonsense attitude is refreshing Can you please make her marriage with Viraj, a success to teach Pandya parivar a lesson?
One of the best stories I have read on Raavi clearly moving on and doesn’t want to do anything with Shiva or Pandya parivar.
Can’t wait to read the next update❤️
I can’t agree more ❤️Wonderful update! ❤️

Awesome chapter. I am loving the fact that Raavi has moved on and isn't keeping her self respect at stake. I am eagerly waiting for the entry of Viraj. Don't unite Shiva Raavi in the end coz he clearly doesn't deserve her. Update soon. Will be eagerly waiting for the next chapter
Just loveeed this update. I've been looking for updates every single day. I am sad for Shivi specially when i've read practically all stories. They are sooo much better than the crap in the show. However I've lost sight of SHIVI. They butched both Shiva and Raavi soo much in the show that I cannot even see them together. Even Raavi kisses instead of being romactic gave a creepy vibe. A normal guy who really love you should have felt something. Here its only insults and a feeling of a forced love. There is a limit for Anger.
So to conclude I just loveeeee this version where Raavi learned to grow, be sensible, independant and no longer be a doormat. That should agree and accept every insult, every degrading treatment and smile as if she is doing you a favor just because ahe is your MIL.
So please let her bw very happily married to Viraj.
Please update the next part soon...
Please update the next part soon.
Chapter 4
"Knowing when to walk away is WISDOM
Being able to is COURAGE
Walking away with your HEAD HELD HIGH
is DIGNITY"
"Maasi, Mausapa, Anita di, let's leave" Raavi picked up her purse silently and turned to leave ignoring Dhara's question
"Aee, gadhedi, have you gone deaf now? Didn't you listen? Bhabhi asked you something" Shiva's voice was higher than usual.
"I am telling you, She is married. I saw her husband's photo and he is very good-looking. My Raavi married a real diamond, not just a namesake diamond. I am so proud of her" Mami taunted Suman.
"Maasi! Are you coming or should I leave"
"Ha! of course, now she wants to leave. After destroying my son's engagement party and creating differences between them" Suman Kaki's voice reached her ears.
She needs to leave otherwise she was going to burst into anger and she didn't want that. Resolutely she kept moving ahead ignoring everyone. Just as she reached the door, someone grabbed her hand and pulled her back forcefully.
"Raavi, Bhabhi Ma asked you something" Shiva gritted his teeth "answer her"
"Shiva, leave me" Raavi tried to push him away but his grip was too tight.
"Answer her first, chipkali"
"Yes. I am married. Happy" Raavi declared.
His grip loosened and Raavi pushed him. He staggered back a few steps.
"And don't touch me again" Raavi bit out
"Raavi, why didn't you tell us?" Dhara exclaimed indignantly. "What is the meaning of this?"
"I Didn't say anything because it's none of your business," Raavi replied back trying to control her anger.
"See didn't I say. This markundi gai is nothing but trouble. Somnath must have been really angry at us the day he decided to give us this kachra as my daughter-in-law." Suman complained
"I mean seriously Raavi, you say Dhara bhabhi is like a sister to you and then you say this is none of her business ?" Rishita expressed her disappointment
Raavi looked at Gaumbi, Dev, and Krish to see if they had anything more to add or will they keep quiet like always?
"Raavi, is this true?" Gaumbi asked her softly
Before she could reply they heard a chuckle which then turned into a full-blown laugh. Everyone looked at Shiva bewildered including Raavi
"Shiva? Bhai you okay?" Krish asked him
"Of course" he controlled his laugh.
"Didn't I say Gaumbi, I won't create any drama, it's Raavi you have to worry about. And look she is once again successful. Aee Mami, she said she is married and you believe her? You know right, we all know, how Raavi behaves like a child when she wants something. This time she made a fool out of you"
"No, that is not true." Prafulla denied vehemently, regardless doubt crept her mind.
"Is that so? Then ask her where is her Mangalsutra and Sindoor? If she is married as she claims, then why not wear it? she is lying as usual"
Everyone looked at Raavi with doubt whereas Suman looked at Shiva, proud of him. Only my Shiva knows what his mother wants...
"A..a..umm...Raavi?" Prafulla looked at her for an explanation.
Even though Raavi had explained to her that she wanted to keep this a secret till her husband arrives. Whatever Shiva said looked like a more plausible scenario
How did she never see this? Arrogance, the ego? Raavi could feel her eyes burning as she felt angry tears pool her eyes. No, she would not cry. Neither would she listen to this crap anymore. Not this time.
Her stance turned rigid. And slowly she brought her hand to her neck and displayed her Mangalsutra, which was hidden under the collar of her dress.
"It's here Shiva" her voice turned cold "here is my Mangalsutra and here is my sindoor" she moved her hair back which was hiding a good part of her forehead.
This wiped the smile from Shiva's face and this gave her immense satisfaction
"What did you say Suman Kaki? I am Kachra? That I destroyed your son's life? Can you please tell me when and how did I do that?" Raavi directed her questions at Suman. Her voice was too soft but there was an edge to her tone which did not go unnoticed by anyone
"List is too long Raavi! If I start telling you then you will stay here for the whole night"
"I have time on my hands. Let's finish this matter once and for all. That is if you have anything valid to say. And please I request everyone to keep quiet while Suman Kaki is reciting her list. You will get your turn. Let's start with the elder and the most revered person in the house, shall we? So Suman Kaki Let's start"
Raavi sat on one of the chairs quietly facing Suman. She did not look at anyone to see their expressions. Her gaze steady on Suman
Suman was baffled, for the first time she was unsure what she was going to say. But she can't lose to that chit of a girl.
"You married my son against his wishes. You slapped him in front of the whole Somnath. You broke his marriage with Disha and came back to his life and our home. You conspired with Anita and Prafulla, to kill my Gaumbi and Dhara's child. The first chirag of this house. If that was not enough you sent him to jail. Then you went ahead, and signed divorce papers and when finally my Shiva declared that he wants nothing to do with you. You again tried to force your entry into this house. You brought the snake to kill me. " Suman huffed
"That's it? But that got over pretty soon. I thought you said it would take us the whole night?" Raavi mocked her.
"Anyway let's clear off your list one by one shall we?"
"I got married to Shiva against his wishes. Wrong, your most lovable daughter in law, forced both me and Shiva in this farce."
"Of course, she would do that, she feared for your life. You tried to kill yourself" Suman countered
"A bad decision on my part. I agree. But Shiva easily could have backed out once he saved me. Who asked him to agree with his Bhabhi Ma? And if you were so against it why didn't you stop it then? You would have saved both of us this trauma"
"I will tell you why you kept quiet. Because you knew your son was wrong. It was your family's mistake that you wanted to hide. You or your family did no favor for me, by marrying me to Shiva. Had you not done that you knew you would have faced allegations and blames from our social circle."
"How dare you say something like that? Did you see, this is the real snake that you brought in our home" Suman was livid as she accused Dhara.
"I will dare to say this, because this is the truth. Ask your family. Ask your dearest son Shiva, were they not aware of Dev's affair with Rishita? Why did they hide that? Why didn't Dev confront me upfront? Why didn't Shiva say anything? You call me a liar? but your family is a bunch of liars and hypocrites"
"Don't drag my Dev in this" Rishita came forward to defend Dev.
"Oh please Rishita, you and Dev are responsible for all of this from the start. Tell me didn't you know that Dev's family was looking for an alliance, why didn't you approach me earlier instead of humiliating me before the whole crowd." Raavi demanded
"Did it ever occur to you that till date whatever I faced, both of you laid the foundation for that? What about a one Sorry? You could have at least apologized to us. I never saw you doing that. Neither did I see my dearest ex-mother-in-law asking you to do that. How can she? You always gave it back to everyone and I kept quiet. So Suman Kaki must have decided, she does not have guts to fight the Pattrani and her husband loves her, let her do whatever she wants. Raavi is there to take all the blames and tortures thrown at her."
Rishita was speechless, but so was everyone. The dead silence followed Raavi's outburst. No one knew how to respond.
"Your second blame, I slapped Shiva, called him gawar before Somnath. What an evil woman Raavi is! Shiva just stood there, he didn't do anything, didn't say anything. He just raised a question about my character. But that is alright, isn't it? Let's torture an orphan girl, who is going to fight for her?"
"Raavi" Gaumbi called out forcefully this time interrupting her tirade.
"Not today Gaumbi, not today" she stopped him
"Tell me whatever I am saying is wrong. Tell me whatever treatment I received back then at your mother's and brother's hand was what I deserved. Tell me and I will keep quiet. But just for once, I want to speak. I want to..." Against her resolve Raavi felt angry tears roll down her face.
For the first time since Raavi's speech, everyone looked at Gaumbi. He took two steps back making Suman look at him in hurt and shock.
"Your third blame" Raavi continued "Because of me Shiva and Disha could not come together. Tell me one thing Suman Kaki, who told you to bring another woman in the house when I was still married to Shiva? Would you have tolerated something like this if it had happened with your husband? But the blame here majorly lies with Shiva.
She faced Shiva, who looked numb.
"Tell me Shiva if what your mother did, bringing in another girl, would you have tolerated it if the same was done by Maasima? Would you have tolerated it if another guy had kissed my cheek?"
Shiva fisted his hands as an image of another guy kissing Raavi, came before his eyes.
"I wouldn't have tolerated any other guy near you okay? And you know why Raavi?" Shiva stood too close for her comfort, making her take a step back.
"Because I...I"
"Because I, what Shiva?" Raavi demanded angrily
"Does it matter? You are married now"
"You are right, I am married now. It does not matter now. But it would have mattered back then. But you didn't have the guts to speak out loud, did you? If I slapped you before everyone, then it was me who kissed you before everyone, I professed my love before everyone. Even when we were divorced. I stayed at your house because I loved you. I never cared what people will say about me. Because I believed in you, I believed there will be a time when you will come around and I will get my happily ever after...But you didn't...What did you expect me to do? Keep waiting on you?"
"And you know what? I did just that. I left this place because I thought you would come looking for me just like you did when I was kidnapped. But you didn't come. What I got in return was the news of your bride hunting. I was shattered. The guy I loved so much was ready to move on in a jiff? All that you ever gave me was always anger, why Shiva? What did I do to you so bad that you hated me so much?"
"You never loved me Raavi, don't lie. Your first choice had always been Dev, not me. I can never forget that I was married to the girl who dreamed of my brother. I knew I was a compromise for you, nothing more nothing less. Otherwise, why would a girl like you, the most beautiful girl of Somnath, would want me?"
"Did you see this Rishita? Dev?" Raavi looked at them. Dev looked away guilty
"Shiva, I pity you. Do you know what your problem is? You left your studies to help Gaumbi in-store business. To help your family so they do not have to face the burden of extra fees and your brothers could study. None of your family felt the need to get you back in education once everything was settled. And neither did you want your circumstances to change. So what did you do? You harbored the anger, the ever-lasting volcano ready to erupt whenever anyone tried to degrade you.
Especially Maasi, because she had always been at the forefront of #degrade Shiva mission. Your hatred for Maasi and your insecurities due to Dev never let you see me in another capacity. I have always been a Mami ki behen ki beti and Dev's ex deewani for you. So you never could accept me and love me. You hide your insecurities behind your anger"
Both gazed at each other, knowing whatever she said was true.
"You know why I can move on and don't regret it? Because I tried and gave my 100% to this relationship."
"Raavi! What are you talking about? Shiva never wanted to learn or study anything."
Raavi looked at Shiva who looked away.
"Did you ever ask him about it Dhara di? You call yourself his mother then how come a mother can ignore her child and his future? I am not saying you are the only one at the fault here. Shiva is equally responsible for the things he faced in his life. But sure you and Gaumbi could have looked after him. At least you should have tried to find out the reason why a child as bright as Shiva wants to leave his studies?"
"Anyways, let's move to Suman Kaki's next blame. I don't have the time, it's already late and I have to travel for a meeting tomorrow"
Raavi wiped her face from any remaining tears and composed herself.
"What was it? Ha? I conspired against Dhara di and Gaumbi's child. Well, I know whatever I say you will never believe me. I don't care anymore but still Maasi now that you are happy that I married someone else why don't you tell them the truth?" Raavi turned to Maasi
"What truth? I don't know what you are talking about"
"Come on Maasi. I am already married to someone else. I am never returning back to Somnath. I am happy in my life. You can definitely gloat about your win. Considering Dhara di is still childless you did win. I mean I don't mind if you want to keep quiet because you are scared of Suman Kaki" Raavi taunted Prafulla, riling her further
"Aye aee, what did you say?" Prafulla screeched "Her, I am not scared of this Dayan. I am not scared of anyone. I will tell you all"
"Fuphi, what are you doing?" Anita tried to stop her but Prafulla pushed her away
Prafulla started reciting what and how they executed Dhara's IVF matter.
How Rishita's aunt was involved with them. Everything up to the divorce papers signature"
Raavi closed her eyes. A few years back, this was the truth that she was trying so desperately to bring before everyone. Back then no one believed her. To gain Shiva's love back she tried everything. And now that everything was out in the open before all, she didn't care what they thought of her.
When she opened her eyes she saw everyone looking at her with a pang of guilt visible on their faces including Shiva. Yup, don't care, she confirmed.
"Raavi" she heard Dhara's soft voice as tears rolled down her cheeks.
Dhara moved towards her but she took a step back
"Now, that your list of blame is over. I have to ask you few questions, Suman Kaki. You don't have to answer, because I don't expect them from you.
You preach about sanskar and values you and your son's follow day and night. tell me something did you teach Shiva to manhandle his wife? You remember the day he threw me out of your so called house after the divorce paper scandal? Are these the values taught in this house?
Did you get the satisfaction the day you tried to humiliate me before all by calling neighboring aunties? By telling me to die?"
Oh yes, you didn't know? Come on Suman Kaki, you hid it even from your four favorite sons?" Raavi mocked her as she saw everyone look confuse,
"Suman Kaki called those ladies that day to oust me from your house."
Everyone looked at Suman in shock, making her look down in shame for the first time.
"Raavi, we are so sorry" Dhara started again
"Don't be Dhara di. I didn't want your sympathy or sorry. Even I made some mistakes for which I completely take responsibility. And I can only learn from my mistakes and move on. That is what I did"
"But"
"You know Dhara di, why did I wanted to get married in this house? Because this was my dream family. The perfect family of Somnath. What more could an orphan girl can ask for right?"
"Raavi! Don't call yourself an orphan. You have us" Gaumbi replied vehemently
"Why not Gaumbi, your mother used to call me that. No one objected back then. Even my own Maasima has called me orphan"
"I just wanted to be a part of a family who will call me their own. A good and loving husband. I wanted my fairy tale. My happily ever after. And I always imagined it to be with Pandya Pariwar. But I am happy. I have learned that you have to accept people as they are and you will stay happy. The reason why I forgive you all including Maasi, even when you may never ask for my forgiveness. I forgive you for my peace of mind"
"Disha," Raavi turned towards her. "I wish you and Shiva all the happiness that you deserve. I did not mean to disturb your engagement, but this was long overdue"
"Why would you say that you and Shiva are made for each other. And now that Shiva knows the truth..." Dhara held her arms
"Dhara di! I am married" Raavi moved away from Dhara's hold
"But I thought..."
"What? that I am doing all of this to get back with Shiva? That I am lying about my marriage? No Dhara di, you are mistaken"
"I am happily married. Finally, I got my dream family. I have a very loving mother-in-law and father-in-law who put me before their son. I have a nice sister-in-law, who is nothing less than a sister to me. I have a young brother-in-law, who is very studious. And two more Uncles and Aunt all of them love me and accepted me like their own."
"But most importantly I have a loving husband who trusts me no matter what. The reason he agreed to let me be here even after knowing that I am visiting my ex-husband's family. I don't regret anything Dhara di. I got my fairy tale. I got my family." Raavi smiled remembering her family.
Shiva stood there numb.
"I didn't mean to talk about the past, but Suman Kaki left me no choice. I am leaving"
"Wait Raavi! We will go together. Prafulla and Anita can manage on their own" her Mausapa glared at them and reached Raavi as he side hugged her
"Thank you" Raavi replied softly. He had been a big support to her these past years. Without his and Kajal Di's support, she couldn't have done this.
Her Mausapa smiled at her in understanding.
Raavi left their house the way she came with her head held high...

Hope you enjoy the update🤗
Awesome chapter. Absolutely loved how Raavi stood up for herself. I loved this story of yours where instead of staking her self respect she took a stand for herself which we hardly find be it in fanfics or in tv serials.
If you could pls add one more chapter where there is an entry of Raavi's in law's especially her husband Viraj. I really want to read that scene and also see how Pandya's regret seeing Raavi's new family.
