I had kinda sorta similar thing: My in-laws never wanted non Patel bahu. So I was Always their punching bag. My FIL was as nasty as Suman at times in terms of indirect verbal taunts. I have Sil/nanad like Dhara who loves to taang adaao in everything. Initial years kept it easy , ignored , avoided confrontations , spoke up but softly

once my first child was born & Fil commented something nasty on my first day back home/ made my mid- that’s it! Started giving back politely but firmly! My husband was supportive, that always helped. Being financially independent was another thing that helped.
Being mother brings strength, sometimes you don’t know you have.

Am a total Mama bear now against my whole in-law family including my hubby for my spl needs son

Who is not accepted as a part of the family

Been thru hell & back as a DIL Once turned mom totally turned against the wolves in the family

My Mil is a maha saas even to Suman 🙄

My sis in law a control freak like her mom 😡

Nobody messes with me anymore 😊

It takes immense courage to stand up to your own family. it may be tough as a wife and DIL, but being a mother gives you strength. When it's about your baby, nothing else matters.

I can't believe someone said on Kanwar's post that, Shiva is the best thing that happened to Raavi & everyone is like Shiva is best.. Can't they know the difference between KD & Shiva? Are they really liking Shiva? I mean am I from some different planet where I can't understand the emotions of those who are on earth? They can say that they like his portrayal of Shiva but saying that he's the BEST thing to happen to Raavi? They love him most for his love for Raavi? I mean kaun hai ye log! No I don't even wanna know kaun hai!

No wonder KD thinks Shiva is best! I remember a childhood story where a king roamed around in his whole country naked bcz all his darbaris used to do blind flattery of him & told him that the new dressmaker makes clothes that feel like you wore nothing, as the dressmaker told them that he's very close to king

Raavi has to be tough on him this time. If she forgives him easily, she is going to go through this nightmare all her life,

Shiva, first of all is not fit to be a husband but if Raavi insists that she will stay married to him (IMO, she is making a mistake) then he has a longgggggggggg way to go even before he becomes of somewhat a decent husband.

I am a mother, wife and a DIL. I understand what you are going through and have seen it in very close quarters what it takes to fight against your family for your child. Kudos to you for fighting for your child and may you always get the strength and courage to continue to fight for him🤗
I personally have not experienced any of the hardships that you are going through, as I am blessed with a very supportive husband, great in-laws and wonderful kids.

One thing I agree with you, my kids over anybody in this world. I will not hesitate to give my life for my them, will be there to protect them at any cost even if it means going against the family.
