Baarishhh!!!!!

I finally broke my fast when it came to Shivi stories. Not worth stopping anymore cause of ykw. I may not watch the show but I'm back to reading.

I loved this. Haha Shiva tried but got put in place. Greta practice for mommy to be in negotiations. And I'm loving the fact that they are together, alone at home and Shiva didn't blurt it out to the fam yet. A secret they both can keep because Raavi wants it that way for some time. Even if it's to give surprise❤️❤️

Because a lot of people wanted a part 2 to this :)

"Shiva, Raavi kaha gayi hai? Mujhe usse kuch kaam tha." Rishita asked from the kitchen.

"Bahar gayi hai, aati hogi." Shiva replied, his eyes continuously fluttering towards the door every 2 seconds.

Ye gadhedi ko bola tha rukne ko, lekin aise bhaag gayi jaise koi sale laga hai mall mein. Buddhu. Phone bhi ghar par hai iska.

Just then, Raavi entered the house, limping very slightly with a bag around her shoulder.

"Aye!" Shiva walked towards her as fast as he could, "Pair ko kya hua?" He asked, taking the bag from her, and walking her to the cot in the aangan, sitting her down with the bag next to her.

"Kuch nahi, woh bas zara si trip ho gayi, jab chalke waapas aa rahi thi. Thoda sprain hua hai shaayad, but theek hai, aisa 2 din mein chala jaayega." Raavi shrugged her shoulders, as Shiva sat in front of her to inspect her ankle.

"Sprain? Trip?" He looked at her, and Raavi could see how he'd burst out any second, the looks he was giving her. "Aur ye mahaan kaam tune kiya kaise?"

"Bola toh." She looked at him, feeling slightly guilty. "Chal rahi thi, pothole me pair twist ho gaya, aur gir gayi. MATLAB," She exclaimed when she saw Shiva's anger physically rise on his face, "Baju mein ek parked car tha, uska support liya maine. Toh neeche nahi giri. Mai theek hu."

"Theek hai? THEEK HAI?!" Shiva yelled, making her flinch slightly but she expected this. Hearing Shiva, everyone assembled in the hall.

"Kya hai, Shiva?" Krish asked, rubbing his eyes, "Meri neend kyu kharab kar raha hai apne awaaz se?"

"TU CHUP!" Shiva pointed at Krish, "Jaa jaake first aid se Moov leke aa. JAA!"

Krish scampered away and brought the balm, handing it over to Shiva as he applied it on her ankle.

"Shiva, isse zara si chot toh aayi hai. Itna kyu chilla raha hai?" Dhara asked, wiping her hands on a towel.

"Rai ka pahad kyu bana raha hai Shiva, it's not like usse pehle chot nahi aayi hai na. Chal toh rahi hai theek se!" Rishita reasoned.

"Aap samajh nahi rahe ho, Bhabhi!" Shiva exasperatedly said, glaring at Raavi.

"Aur tu! Maine kaha tha mai 15 minute mein aata hu, lekin tu phudakte hui udd gayi, ye kehke ki exhibition bandh ho jaayega. Aur toh aur, PHONE BHI GHAR PE BHUL GAYI! Gadhedi. Akkal ki dushman! AGAR TUM DONO KO KUCH HO JAATA, TOH MUJHE KAISE PATA CHALTA?! BATA MUJHE!"

"Kaun dono, Shiva?" Krish asked, confused and Shiva royally ignored him. "Raavi bhabhi toh akele gayi thi."

Raavi peeked at him from under her eyelashes, sniffling. "Sorry." She mumbled, few tears spilling out of her eyes.

"Rula diya bechari ko, kya karta hai tu, Shiva?!" Gautam exclaimed, and Shiva ignored him too.

Immediately, Shiva straightened up and sat beside her, his whole demeanour changing, sighing and wiping her tears, "Ro kyu rahi hai?" He asked softly, unlike the angry young man he was 4 seconds ago.

"Tu chilla kyu raha hai mujhpe?" She sniffed, hugging him and he put his arm around her.

"Chillane ke liye sorry." He apologized, and she turned her head to look at him. "Par tu aise khatron ke khiladi banke bahar jaayegi toh kaise chalega? Aur itna ro kyu rahi hai?"

"Rona aa raha hai, toh roungi na. Hasungi thodi na?" She pouted, making him chuckle.

Meanwhile, the entire family stood in the periphery wondering what the hell was happening. One second he was yelling, the next second he became soft for Raavi, and the next he was chuckling at her innocence and hugging her.

"Ye Shiva ko ho kya gaya hai? Bhaang chadhake aaya hai kya?" Suman asked, as she noticed Shiva saying something to Raavi to make her laugh.

"Agar woh gaadi waha nahi hoti toh? Mai nahi kho sakta na tum dono ko. Kyu karti hai aisa, haa?" He softly asked her, and she nodded her head.

"Arre kaun dono?"

"Ye kya mind games khel rahe ho? Kaun dono, Raavi bhabhi aur kaun?"

"Raavi tu apne kisi dost ke saath gayi thi? HAWWW TERA KOI AFFAIR HAI?"

"Nahi aisa kaise ho sakta hai."

"Inka koi bichda hua baccha hai kya?"

"Arre uske muh se nikal gaya hoga galti se!"

"Ae bhagodi ki beti, mera beta galat nahi ho sakta. Chup kar."

"EK MINUTE!" Shiva yelled, his ears hurting from the chaos. "Kya laga rakha hai? Kaun dono, kya baat kar rahe ho tum sab?"

"Shiva, khud ke shabd bhul jaata hai kya?" Suman asked, "Abhi toh tune kaha 'tum dono ko kho nahi sakta', kaun dono, ye aur iski bichdi hui behen?!"

Shiva looked at Raavi with panicked eyes, realizing his slip-up. Seeing her get herself in a possibly dangerous situation had rendered him incapable of thinking things through. He was worried and losing his mind before she walked through the door, and seeing her limping had driven him over the edge. He wanted to be there to protect her and their little one, hence his outburst of anger, but once her tears came into view, he all but melted.

He could no longer think of an explanation for his slip-up so he nudged Raavi gently for a way out of this mess. Raavi shook her head at her frantic husband who was going through a phase of his word-vomit. It was cute and it made her smile after the tears that had just slipped, no thanks to him. Shiva had just as many mood swings as her these days. Raavi chuckled lightly and grabbed his hand for support. “Ab chhupane ka kya faayda? Kisi na kisi din toh hummein batana hi padega, nahi?” Raavi answered gently.

Shiva sighed in defeat, knowing there was no way out of this. With both of their hands intertwined, they stood up together. Shiva wrapped his arm around Raavi, bracing her limping figure while she leant up against him, thankful for his support.

Raavi looked at Shiva, nodding at him to start. Shiva shook his head in retaliation, silently asking her to speak first.

"Woh...." She tried to say without breaking into a smile beforehand, "Hum sabka promotion hone waala hai."

"Parmi-son? Kis baat ki ijaazat le rahi hai beta?" Suman asked and Raavi chuckled.

"Permission nahi, Kaki, Promotion. Matlab sab ko naya post milne waala hai."

"Hein?"

"Haa. Tauji number 1 and 2," Raavi pointed at Gautam and Dev, "Taiji number 1 and 2," she then pointed at Dhara and Rishita, "Chachu, Dadi," gesturing at Krish and Suman,

"Aur..." She looked at Shiva, who smiled at her, as she pointed between them both "Mummy papa."

Everyone looked at them as if hangers were stuck in their mouths. Did they hear her right? They couldn't believe it.

In the moment of pin drop silence, Krish burst out laughing, while everyone stared at him still processing what they had heard.

"Accha mazaak kar lete ho, bhabhi! Aaj toh April 1st bhi nahi hai." He laughed, for which he got one slap on his head from Shiva.

"Ae gadhede, mere bacche ke baare mazaak karunga ka kya mai? Tujhe pankhe se ulta latka dunga, muh bandh rakh!" Shiva growled at him, as Raavi pulled him back, nodding no, and they realised it wasn't a joke.

Everyone erupted in excited smiles and laughter as they pulled Shiva and Raavi into a hug, everyone speaking over each other in a jumbled mess.

"Careful, careful!" Shiva said, pulling Raavi out of the tight family hug that was squishing her, as everyone laughed at his protectiveness.

Suman sat Raavi down and warded off all evil, the first grandchild of the family. She wanted nothing to go wrong.

"Tum teeno ko kisi ki nazar na lage."

Shiva and Raavi bent to take Suman's blessings, and she just pulled them into another hug.

"Oh my god, Raavi, tum abhi tak baby shopping gayi ho? How adorable it will be, omg!" Ribsifa exclaimed.

"Ek min, tum dono ko pata kab chala?" Dhara asked.

"Pichle hafte." Raavi blushed, her cheeks getting round and puffy, and Shiva couldn't help but pull her cheeks.

"Mere bhai, tu toh chupa rustom nikla. Seedha baccha, kya baat hai!" Krish teased Shiva, and scampered away seeing Shiva come to give him a punch.

"Aaj se Raavi ka khayal rakhna sabki zimmedari hai, khaskar teri, samjha?" Suman pointed at Shiva, and he smiled and nodded. "Koi bhi kami nahi, isse jo khaana hai tu khila. Aur Raavi beta, agar isne tujhe pareshaan kiya, toh mujhe batana, theek che?"

Raavi nodded and chuckled, little tears forming in her eyes, seeing everyone so happy.

"Ahem," Shiva fake-coughed to grab her attention, noticing her crying, AGAIN, and she hugged him, "Pushpa, I hate tears." He said dramatically, because it took a lot to make a filmy person smile. And it worked, in reverse;

"Who's Pushpa?"

"Arre, tune woh dialogue nahi suna hai?"

She nodded no.

"What a waste of a dialogue. Hmph."

"Ae bhootnath, chup. Bada aaya mujhe 'hmph' karne waala."

Shiva chuckled and kissed the top of her head, forgetting his audience that half snickered, and half warded off all evil.

"Ye lepta lepti apne kamre mein karo," Suman's voice boomed, as they jumped apart, embarrassed. "Raavi beta, tune teri Maasi ko bataya?"

Raavi's eyes widened in shock. "Mar gaye." She looked at Shiva in fear, "Mar gaye, mar gaye, mar gaye, mar gaye Shiva! MAAASIIII!" She exclaimed, clutching her head.

"Tumne nahi bataya?" Rishita asked, frowning.

"Mai tum sabko aur Maasi ko saath mein batane waali thi lekin- BHOOTHNATH YE TERI GALTI HAI!" Raavi punched his arm in frustration.

"Ow, sanki chudail hai tu, maine kya kiya?!" He frowned, clutching his arm.

"Itna kaunsa pahad chadh gaya tha, ki itni fikar ho gayi, aur tune sabke saamne sacch bata diya, ab Maasi aayengi aur pata nahi kya bolengi-"

"CHUP. Kitna bolti hai! Kuch nahi hoga." Shiva sighed, but she was right.

"RAAAAVIIIIII!" Came a shrill voice from the entrance.

Pakka mar gaye.
