Hello people,
This story is another attempt on my part to send Shiva back to the room…How I wish the makers show us a proper scene.
It is based on the current track only.
(Everything in underline and italic is their thoughts and only italics are their dialogues/ conversation)

BEING IN THE ROOM…
Raavi made the bed and was about to sleep when she heard a slow knock on the door. “Is it Shiva?” and when she opened the door, her guess was proven correct.
“What are you doing here?” she asked.
“Umm…that…cot…Dev…occupied” he fumbled with words which made Raavi curious.
“Come on, Shiva, you can make better sentences. Stop stuttering.”
“Okay.” He took a deep breath and said “Actually, Dev is sleeping on the cot in the Aangan, so I do not have a place to sleep. Can I…?” he gestured towards the bed.
Raavi understood that he wanted to sleep here which made her nervous and excited at the same time. “I am experiencing two contrasting emotions at the same time.” Then the nervousness won and it dawned on her that the two will end up sharing the bed.
“What are you thinking, Gadedhi? I have slept here before our divorce, I guess I can sleep here.” Shiva pointed towards the bed and sat on it with a victorious smile.
Raavi, on the other hand, was thinking of ways to get out of the room. Just then, an idea clicked her.
“I will go and sleep in Rishita’s room. Poor thing had a fight with her husband, she might be feeling low. I will go and talk to her, she will be in need of a friend.” She said it in one breath and was about to leave the room when Shiva stopped her.
“Wait.” He came towards her and held her hand. He made her sit on the bed.
“Take a deep breath; the way you taught me. You do not have to be nervous around me. I know things have changed between us but that does not mean that you have to behave like this. You can tell me that you do not want me in the room, I will go.” He said this to calm a fidgety Raavi.
He held her hand before she could end up breaking all her nails out of sheer nervousness and just looked at her. With a shake of his head and a smile on his face, he said “Dobi.”
When Shiva turned to go out of the room, Raavi held his hand and gestured to make him sit next to her.
“I have not yet accepted your apology, you know that. Right?”
Shiva simply nodded but was too embarrassed to look at her.
“I guess I do not want to forgive you for what you have done irrespective of your efforts. I know you were sincere in your apology but still, there are a few things that need closure. I need closure.” she put a hand on his shoulder which was her way of telling him that she wants to forgive him but was unable to get the strength.
“I have apologised for everything.”
“You do not even know for what you have to apologise. I never felt the need for you to apologise for our childhood shenanigans; that was us. Two crazy kids who just belong with each other in the middle of love and hatred.”
She continued after taking a deep breath. “You have to apologise for hurting me, not trusting me and bringing up divorce.” A small tear made its way to her cheek which was stopped by Shiva.
He bent on his knees in front of her while she was sitting on the bed. “I know it was wrong. I am sorry with all my heart. Trust me.”
Raavi knew that Shiva was honest and genuine in his apology. Still, she wanted to get a few things out of her head.
“What about Disha? When she came into your life, you forgot that I exist. That hurt me to the core. It hurt here, Shiva.” Raavi said the last line pointing a finger towards his heart.
Shiva simply shook his head in disagreement but couldn’t find the words to say something meaningful to Raavi at this point in time.
“She kissed you. She knew that you are married. But you know what the worst part was? That you let her come close to you. You never even once told her to stay away from you. Why? Did you start liking her? Or was she my replacement? I…” Raavi now had tears in her eyes remembering every wrong that Shiva did.
Shiva simply closed his eyes and was hoping that it was a nightmare but he knew in his heart that it was bound to happen.
“Say something. I need my answers. Was I so easy for you to replace?”
Shiva simply cupped her face and kissed the tears that were coming out of her eyes and whispered “No you were not nor you will ever be.”
With that, he hugged her the tightest he could without smothering her. Raavi was smiling in between her tears and hugged him back. She knew that accepting his apology might take some time but the “butterflies” in her stomach are willing to accept a “monkey” for company. After 5 minutes, both of them realised that they were hugging each other and got nervous.
“It is so late now, I am too tired. I guess we should get some sleep.” Raavi said pointing Shiva to take the other side of the bed.
Shiva with his hand in his hair, nodded and mouthed a “yeah”.
Both of them were facing each other while lying down and the two knew it in their hearts that it doesn’t matter where they will go, who will come between them; they will always find each other. Their relationship is worth fighting for.
“Good night, Raavi.”
“Good night, Shiva.”
