Pandya Parivaar OS: Bank balance- outstanding! (Pun Intended)
A few of days after the couples competition, the Pandya’s were hanging out in the courtyard without a worry. Someone knocked on the door and delivered a notice that they had to pay the loan amount with respect to the expansion of the store.
Their budgets were tight as usual, how were they going to pay the loan? A discussion began. Krish blamed Shiva for spending a lot of money on a hairdo, a rental suit and a luxurious car just to prove a point to someone.
The very next minute, they received another notice that stated, Shiva owed Raavi 10 lakhs as alimony. Shiva took Raavi to the room and questioned her about it. She did not say a word, she was too hurt given how the events at the couples contest played out. Maybe her Maasi was right all along? Should she just take the 10 lakhs and head to Ahmedabad?
Shiva was still yelling at Raavi, but she walked out. Shiva was perplexed.
He followed her back to the courtyard where the family was discussing how to pay off the loans and what jewels to sell.
Suddenly, Rishita received a call that the company she was working for declared bankruptcy and she no longer had a job. It was all Janardhan’s game plan- Checkmate!
Everyone was still trying to process the information, when Dev received a call. It was his friend who lent him money for the construction of Dhara and Gautam’s bedroom. The friend was in need of the money as his mother was in the hospital. How were they going to pay this guy back?
Suman had already sold her kangans, Shiva was about to ask Raavi about her jewels she was willing to part with last time but could not muster the courage to do so. He had no rights on those jewels, correct?
Gautam’s phone rang as the family was still in a state of shock. The doctor mentioned that Dhara had to go for some extra scans and will need some additional medication. The doctor also mentioned the fee, Gautam sighed in disbelief, how were things going to get better? Only lord Somnath can help them, can he though?
They couldn't ask for help in the neighbourhood as they would get hit with items worse than tomatoes.
Shiva suddenly got up and announced he had an idea, he was going to restart his infamous transport business. Rishita stopped him and reminded him about the kaands that followed last time Shiva did that. Dhara defended Shiva and said that Shiva always knew best as Raavi rolled her eyes at Dhara. Shiva did have good ideas.
After a long day of discussion and a lot of back and forth, the Pandyas decided to sweep their financial woes under the rug and began preparations for the Diwali mela. They discussed the decorations, food and guest list for the Diwali dhamaka they were going to host.
It was only Shiva who still remembered their financial troubles.
The following day, Disha had the audacity to come to Pandya Niwaas to talk to Suman. Suman asked Raavi and Disha to go shopping for the Diwali celebrations.
They reluctantly agreed and decided to take an auto, they stopped an auto and got in but they were in for a surprise, it was Shiva who was driving the auto. This was his transport business, Raavi thought to herself.
Disha was shocked, the Shiva who drove a Rolls Royce a couple of days back was now driving an auto? She liked Shiva for who he was but she just learned of the Pandya’s financial crises. She didn't want to deal with THAT.
After Shiva dropped them off, Disha politely told Raavi and Shiva that she was busy and had to step away and from that day on, she was not seen in Somnath.
Shiva and Raavi completed their shopping and headed back home as they bantered and bickered along the way.
