The Only Reason

The only reason to see the show is to watch the beautiful & brilliant actors play stupidity at top notch level.

The only reason to tolerate the series is to read about Shiva & Raavi's absolutely delicious, imaginative, ingenious and awesome FF/SS/OS/ drabbles.

These are my only reason & hope for this show.

Nowadays, I kind of feel like the writers probably hate the characters like Dev, Shiva, Gombi & Raavi . There is nothing called as character growth for these characters. The writers build every thing up to such a hype and then reduce it to mockery and absolute pettiness.

From the numerous discussion in the forum, I am led to believe that the OG is absolutely marvelous and has tremendous meaningful scenes and interactions. Beautiful character growth.

But inspite of having great, beautiful and brilliant cast of actors, the writers are falling short and they are not able to dig themselves out the ditches that they fall into. Most of the time they are concentrating on Dhara and her stupid adventures, which are neither funny nor they contribute to story at all. The early Dhara was so mature and handled things beautifully, learning more and preaching less. She was strong yet venerable about herself. There is so much potential for this character to grow into. But no, we make her the Goddess Divine and put her on pedastal where she can do no bad no wrong.

Raavi and Shiva, our beloved couple, I had so much hope for these two, so much growth potential, extremely sizzling chemistry and the brilliant protrayal of Shiva by Kanwar and the chotu Shiva as well.

I read this somewhere in insta today, if Shivi was the lead or only couple of a show, not particularly this show, but any other, they would have been the best of the best couples on par with I think the greats like Arnav & Khushi, Geet & Maan.

I thought the great build up of Shiva's relationship with Raavi will have a slow and sweet progression. But no we get no progression, we get a small insight into Shiva's character and Raavi becoming another caricature of Dhara and Shiva liking her for that.?!!! Really!!!!!!

Shiva and Raavi, based on their initial characterization, always had a draw towards each other, every Kaand they got physically closer. This seperation was supposed to bring them emotionally closer and to the realisation of their oh so obvious care and attraction towards each other. As I see it, Love is an evolution for this two characters, they are the epitome of physical attraction and emotional need. Both don't need love but as much as they need each other to breathe, survive and just be themselves. My point is more than love, I see a need between these two to be together at all cost, their physical language says that much. Seperate them and you will see a Phoolkumari murjhaying and a Chaattan Pandya breaking to pieces. The desire to be in each other's space is for most for these two. Love is very common to describe their feelings. To explain them and their feelings is not simple, it is however very simply apparent.

However, my whole point was Shiva never needed a reason or comparison with Dhara to like, love or be attracted to Raavi. Raavi is like a whole point of existence for Shiva. She occupies a space in his heart, which no matter what happens or Raavi does, will every cease to be. This is what I love about this couple and the ability of Kanwar and Alice to portray 'them' so effortlessly.

In the ITV world it is very difficult to create a unique couple, it is more of the same always. Alas, this particular point is being missed by the Pandya Store makers, they have treasure trove but they want to use reused tissue for plotline for reasons, I hope against hope to understand.

The conclusion of the Build up of the angst and f seperation for Shivi has eventually turned into a mockery and hilarious jealousy. With Raavi being the object of ridicule and joke. Great!!!!

So, in conclusion to this long rant, please bear with me, I am really frustrated beyond measures. The only reason to watch is now to entertain yourself with cheap drama and thanks to the great actors awesome chemistry of Kdice.

They have perfect cast members👍🏼... I didn't hate Dhara from starting but the way story unfolds lead me to hate her to depth🤢🤢... She was too good at starting in some episode we got the glimpse of that Dhara too but now everything is too ruined that I do not like her even at that time...

Shiva is always my favourite character... But the way he put allegation on his wife kanwad yatra and the janmashtmi pooja scene is something writer can never redeem... I still connect with him adore him when he cares for Raavi but things are not same for sure... I never wanted him to be mute spectator whenever his wife got insulted.... Raavi is dobi she forgives easily... But Shiva is the one who stand by those whom he love dearly... As he always does for Dhara and his family in front of mami... But right now he is doing nothing and it hurts me to the core at least speak up when Suman insults her or talk to her man😵...

Raavi: Enough of her Dobiness and where are her monologues? They literally taken Raavi for granted her character is poorly written... I love Alice and no doubt she improved a lot and i can call her as one of best actress of Starplus but CV's are hell bent of destroying her character😭😭... If there is no monologues no matter how good actor is you will surely lose interest...

You didn't mention Rishita and Krish... Rishita is just being used as a prop her character is somewhat everyone could relate but now seeing her as assistant Dhara I don't understand point of it...

Krish is still for one liners small comedy and sometime harsh comments there is no point of his love story now I don't know why makers are butchering him...

Dev doesn't exist... His BD is there he is just cut copy paste with his adbhut expressions😕😕...

GAumbi is all about Dhara and now Oily... Kinshuk is nowhere to see... No growth no dialogues he is brilliant actor worked for so many years I don't know why this gentle man fell in this crap show... He definitely deserves better show..

PS: I still watch the show for Shivi and Kdice and I'll do it till the last episode... My love for them surpass any shitty tracks CV's come with... And I am really glad even for few good scenes that we get in entire month that gives me sukoon and will always do...

And that was on point what you said about more than love there is need for the to be together which makes them unique from other ITV jodis.They are so comfortable and there real selves with each other.Like they express their every emotion with passion let it be the love,care,hatred ,anger or anything else.

love how you explained ShiVi dynamics. This is the essence & by not retaining it, makers are ruining their own creation.

Thanks for the support😊, it not like they are just ruining it, it's like they themselves hate that ShiVi are not common ITV couples, with the common drama. It's that they are unique and interesting, the common tropes don't apply to them. Hence they are systematically trying to butcher their individual and couple characteristics and trying to bring them to the common ITV couples land, so that the common tropes can be used on them. So that they can highlight on the weird and nowadays cringeworthy romance of Gaura and Gautam and Anita's imaginary romance .

I seriously questions do the writers hate ShiVi or the the beautiful mature romance of Gaura was somehow unacceptable for ITV, so they had to resort to cringe. ( I couldn't watch the mere rang mein sequence without cringing, not because of the actors, but how weird it was shot, I was thankful to Dev for interrupting it👏)

It's is only because I care for this show and the way the makers had uniquely started and moulded the characters that really drew me to an assemble cast show. Either wise if I wanted to be bitter and bitchy(pardon my french!) I will just watch GHKKPM.
