Chapter 4

When Shiva entered the room next morning, he saw Raavi trying to get up but she fell down on the bed.

"Why didn't you call me?" He asked as he helped her stand up.

"Tu abhi tak office nahi gaya?"

"Mene chutti li hai." He said without looking at her and helped her sit on the bed.

“You don't need to go down, your breakfast is coming here.” Shiva said in a calm tone.

“I feel better now.” She replied not meeting his eyes. “And Dev and Rishita are leaving today. I want to spend time with them.”

“But Raavi, you still need rest...” Shiva tried to convince her but Raavi tried to stand, ignoring him completely.

She hissed in pain when Shiva held her arm in order to support her.

“Shiva, we are alone in this room, so you don’t have toat like you care.” Raavi said trying to free his grip but he held her tighter.

Ignoring her bitter words, Shiv bent down to pick her in his arms when Raavi stopped him.

“Uthaane ki sochna b mat. Mujhe teri shakal hi nahi dekhni hai.”

“In that case, meri peeth dekh.”

Shiva said as he wrapped her hands around his shoulder and picked her up on his back. He walked down the stairs holding Raavi in piggyback style. Rishita and Dev smiled at them as they sat down to take breakfast.

“You feel better?” Dev asked and Raavi just nodded.

They ate breakfast in silence and Dev and Rishita departed for the airport. Shiva and Raavi insisted to drop them but they refused telling that Raavi needs rest.

Few days later

“Raavi,” called and she looked up at him. “Get ready weare going somewhere.”

“Where?” she asked confused. They only go out together for business meetings.

“Surprise hai.” He said excited.

“Mujhe surprises pasand nahi hain.”

“Can we not argue on this please? I have been planning this for months now.”

Raavi sighed and went to get ready.

"You remember when I used to help you with your Physics homework?" Shiva asked while he drove them to college.

"Yes. Physics is your subject after all." Raavi replied. "But how did you suddenly remember this? And where are we going?”

He just smiled, making her frown.

Shiva pushed the brakes in front of an university and asked Raavi to get down.

“Why are we here?” Raavi asked Confused.

Shiva pulled out a bag from the back seat and gave itto her.

“You don’t have to make any more sacrifices. It’s your first day at the college. All the best.”

He said and Raavi looked at him dumbfounded. He gazed around the college, she couldn’t believe Shiva wanted her to complete her graduation.She looked back at him and watched her smiling at her. He instructed her the way to her class and drove away in the car. Raavi walked inside awestruck.

As she entered the class, she smiled. She was finally in a college. She could study further. Finally something was happening that wasn’t against her choice. She was lamenting in her thoughts when she heard a professor come in.

"May I have you attention please.”

Everyone turned towards him.

"Welcome to the new session students. I am professor S.D Mehta, HOD of your department. For your information, our Management professor Mr. Sinha is retired now. So we have a new and young guest lecturer to teach you. Please welcome him."

The classroom was silent until the new teacher entered the class.

"Mr. Shiva Pandya." The professor announced and Raavi gaped at him shocked.

Loved it❤️!!! And I'm going to consider this actual progress because Shiva is actively doing something for Raavi with her knowledge now.... Raavi's distrust still needs to be addressed though, I think...
