Long story short, many, many creative differences came in between them. All starting from who the "leads" of the show are. Kanwar signed onto the project, along with Alice, Akshay, Simran, thinking they were all "co-leads." In fact, if COVID had not happened, the story line would have started without the kids, and Kanwar would've been there from Day 1/2. However, the script changed to give some screen space to Gaumbi and Dhara's characters. This caused Kanwar, Alice, Simran, and Akshay to all come much, much later (Fun fact, Kanwar was supposed to play Shiva from the beginning but he was unsure about whether or not to take the project considering the multi ensemble cast. His other project dropped, and he took a risk after seeing some of the OG show).
The cast was very friendly in the beginning. New show, ratings were steadily increasing. GauRa had many fans because of the pre-leap material. Once ShiVi's story became fleshed out... that's when the tension in the cast began. ShiVi became very, very, very popular. To the point where you could not associate Pandya Store without acknowledging Shiva and Raavi. After the danda kaand, Dhara took a huge hit in terms of popularity. Around the time, "Best Beta" award popped up with that sasta award company (multiple people won awards, and the voting system was heavily flawed).
Kanwar was nominated for "Best Beta" and very early on, you knew he was going to win. The number of people voting for him was off the roofs. Other cast members were nominated for other categories, but only Kanwar and Alice had high numbers of votes. That's around the time everything broke apart. The cast was split between KDice and everyone else... with Kinshuk being friends with everyone. Kanwar posted many stories of feeling cheated and being disappointed as this type of stuff has happened to him in the past... but it hurt this time... He deleted some posts... and then things began to settle but you could still see the clear divide in the cast as KDice barely appeared in reels with other members (most especially in Shiny's stories/reels).
Kanwar did not win the award for "Best Beta" and neither Alice for the category she was nominated for. But everyone else on the cast won an award from the sasta awards (Akshay and Shiny won 2). The award organizers even told Kanwar to stop buying bots for his votes 😡. Anyway, the entire cast is buddies with the event organizers except Kanwar and Alice. Simran seems to be cozy with them, which is why many people think her Instagram follower count is exploding.
Kanwar and Shiny work together on sets as professionals... but with the lack of commenting on each other's posts, with the lack of reels/stories together, with Shiny's blatant disregard of KDice when a fan sent a cake and asked her to not invite KDice over for the cutting... People consider Kanwar and Shiny as co-stars who don't gel off screen...
Tried to be as partial/not pick sides as I delivered the summary. Sorry if it seemed like I supported any one person, though. Just typing out all that I remember!
