Keeping it Simple.

Jagat seems to have a tough time sitting on the dining table having nothing but glares to share. He has always wished to stay out of trouble. His firestorm fate on the other hand, attracts him to the place he desires the least-sometimes in the alms of his vicious wife and sometimes in between a place he can barely recognize. There are days when he only dreams of standing on the terrace with a cup of tea on his hand and watch the stars with undivided attention; those fine breezy winds and the fresh atmosphere of Somanth would burst a childish joy in him; he expects to feel it. But alas, after Raavi's marriage; nothing really works accordingly. He remembers how Raavi used to spend time with him, dancing around; playing around and celebrating the joy of their existence. The childish sparkle in her eyes is still alive and he thanks his Bholenath for letting that stay on her face.

He knows Shiva handles Raavi with care; he has seen them in their happy space most of the time. No matter how much they fight; they reach back to each other. Shiva never lets her down; Raavi never gives up on him either. The only point of nosiness is from his lovely wife, who wants nothing but the worst for Raavi's husband. What can he say? He is stuck and sucked in like quick sand. Even now, he is just watching; trying to fish out a meaning of the silent war happening in front of him.

"Kya hua Maasi, khaana pasand nehi aaya?" Raavi asks smilingly. That is the thing about the bubbly lady, her eyes glint with joy, her smile never finds a stop and when she begins to show her crazy side, the surroundings lose their mind.

Prafulla excites and says; "bohat accha hai bhai."

Raavi looks down, closing her eyes childishly being cloud high at the comment. Jagat and Shiva, both expected a similar reaction from her. It is not difficult to make out what transpires from her, she is easy to read and easy to love. Just some cherishing moments, and she becomes the sun of the sky. Prafulla adores Raavi a gallon, but she shoots daggers at her husband on the other hand. Shiva glares at the lady louse silently. Prafulla is nothing less; she pours fire through her gaze, tempting him to throw the glass of water he is holding. He gets calm when Raavi places her hand on Shiva's hand in delight. He does not want to end Raavi's day on a bad note, her sad face is the last thing he wishes to see on the face of this earth.

"Aur Mausa pa, aapko?"

Jagat smiles, kindled with joy on her glowing face; he has never seen Raavi so happy in a while. He nods his head in assurance. Raavi insisted on cooking for them and Shiva was immediately behind her in the kitchen; helping her cut the vegetables and washing the utensils. They agreed to stay the night under his compulsion and didn't mind making food together. He watched them silently, enjoying their banters and silly actions. He only wishes to find a way out to make Prafulla understand the depth of their relationship, succeeding on that path is equal to walking on fire.

"Aaj toh kush hogayi hoon main....bina khaye hi pet bhar gaya, toh aaj mujhe khaane ke liye koyi force mat karo."

Shiva smiles at her sarcastically, "Accha? Raat ko agar bhuk ke wajah se neend se uttayegi na toh dhek lena."

"Kya hai Shiva? Bola na..aaj toh mein itni khush hoon ki mujhe bhook nehi lagega."

Shiva rolls his eyes, contradictory things that Raavi says. She would say she is hungry and sleep off before he brings food to the bedroom and sometimes; she says she is not hungry, ending up irritating him of the opposite later. He knows her juggling emotions; she inflates with happiness at one instance and deflates about a silly issue on the other. Arguing with her will not work when it comes to this. He picks up some roti and aalu and brings it in front of her mouth. Raavi stares agape, pouting at him after seeing him being serious about the issue.

"Mujhe mera neend pyaara hai." He utters.

Sighing deeply, she eats from his hand; there are less often times when her hard built husband shows out his concern openly. She should consider herself lucky to get fed by him. He picks up another bit and she eats from his hand with a giggle.

It turns out to be an eye sore for Prafulla. All that Shiva is doing is just to snatch her Raavi away from her. She is tired listening to the glorious chants of Shiva from Raavi. Shiva this, Shiva that and what not, sometimes the Shiva headache does not seem to leave her head. What did her sweet little child see in that ruthless piece of a person? She looks away. If he thinks he can only get Raavi's attention, then it is the time to prove him wrong.

"Raavi idhar aa...mein bhi khilathi hoon." Prafulla calls for her.

Shiva stops and gives Prafulla a blistering glance. Raavi looks at Shiva in a pleading kind of way; he lowers his hands and lets her jump happily to her so called Maasi. Raavi is beyond happy to get fed by her Maasi. Shiva frowns; the lady only had to call his wife right when he was feeding her. Prafulla smiles back at Shiva evilly, showing a victorious glint in her eyes, as though trying to show him her right on his wife. Shiva decides to focus on his food.

"Kitna kam khaya tune uske haat se...yeh lo aur khao."

Shiva grunts, the woman has no idea whom she is playing with. Raavi is his wife, his dear sweet wife. She has all the rights to get attention from him and give attention to him, if Maami thinks she can steal that away from Shiva, she is under clear underestimation.

"Maasi, who zyada khila raha tha aur aap usse bhi zayada khila rahe ho!" Raavi complains, she attempts to stuff the food slowly so that they don't feed her like a food deprived individual. Her cheeks puff with the amount of food inside her mouth. A smile threatens to come out from Shiva's face as he lays his eyes on her, she looks nothing less than a cute frowning kid.

"Yeh kya hai...sirf mein hi khilathi rahoon? Mujhe bhi toh khila." Prafulla glares at Shiva, slowly twisting her smile into an evil smirk. Shiva is now sure that Prafulla is using Raavi to get back at him.

Excited and joyful, Raavi feeds her Maasi with elation. Does she even see how happy Raavi is? Stupid lady, Shiva grunts from within. He eats his food, staring at her inanity. Well, Shiva can call Raavi and ask her to do the same; she would shower her attention without a bit of hesitation and what does Prafulla think? That Raavi never feeds him when they are not around? She runs behind him if he tries to leave without having food. Sometimes, she feeds him at the store; giving him an extra load of kisses when there is no one around, especially on his lips, driving him crazy by moving her mouth over his.

He coughs as the thoughts carry him away.

"Shiva?" Raavi runs to his side, she hands him a glass of water and rubs his back. Despite Shiva's resistance over the situation, he turns up to look at Raavi as he drinks water from the glass. Concern is written on her face specifically on her eyes, he looks a little down to her mouth, they plum in concern; making an 'o'; Shiva just wants to take him right now.

"Are you okay Shiva?" Jagat's concern gives him a momentary distraction.

"Why won't he be okay? He has our phool jaisi bacchi on his side."

His side? Shiva looks up, glaring at the venomous lady.

"I'm okay." Shiva says, assuring Raavi. Her cheeks, they look puffed; adding an extra to her adorable face. He is willing to say he is not fine; maybe he will be super fine after biting those cute cheeks. Why does his wife make him want her at the most inappropriate situations?

"Raavi beta, mujhe apne haath se banayi hui juice pilaogi?"

Shiva turns towards her side just by then. Had it been him, he would have poured all of it into her mouth at a go. Raavi nods her head and pours the juice from the jug on a glass; Shiva feels deprived of her touch.

Jagat places his palms on the forehead. What is his wife trying to do? There are times when he wants to give a shot to Prafulla but he cannot take a risk, he is sure she would say something stupid; upsetting Shiva and eventually upsetting Raavi too. He sighs further with tension when Raavi feeds her the juice.

"Raavi beta, teri maasi koi bacchi nehi hai. Woh khud pee sakti hai...tu khana kha." He says nevertheless; her competition over Shiva regarding Raavi looks totally impish to him.

Prafulla shoots a noxious glare, pinning Jagat to his place. Jagat really wants to warn Prafulla of the consequences, she is daring to wake the lion in Shiva and that would do no good to her. When has she listened to his warning? She will simply cut him off and will keep going on her own ways. Sometimes, he wishes if somebody hands an award for withstanding this; maybe then he would gain more strength to face her and her wicked actions with a greater vigor.

"Arrey, meri bacchi itne dino baad apne haat ka banaya hua khaba khila rahi hai...mein kaise na puchun?"

"Yeh phoolon jaise haaton ne banaya hai yeh saara khana..." She implants a few kisses on Raavi's hand.

Shiva narrows his brows, that's a boundary she shouldn't have crossed. He clenches his hand in a fist. He has done much more to her, she will never know and if she knows; she will hate every bit of it. He has taken her to her extreme high, to an extent where her toes curl with her nails scratching his body and eyes living a wild heaven. Shiva gets breathless as he thinks about her expressions. Prafulla definitely does not know what he wants to do to her darling Raavi now; he wants kiss every square inch of her body and make her breathless. She would get livid instead, that's her niece after all; she will not be able to tolerate when Raavi behaves like his wife. Had Prafulla not been Raavi's maasi, he would have dragged Raavi away from her; washed her hands a hundred times and even would have applied some anti septic.

Raavi giggles at Prafulla's action to Shiva's greatest dismay, that lady plants her kisses on Raavi's forehead and cheeks. She turns to him, smirking about the hold she has on her. Shiva looses it just by then.

Not her forehead.

Definitely not her cheeks!

How dare she? Raavi is not some sorry excuse to get back at him, Raavi is a person who loves even little of anybody's affection. She deserves to be cherished, celebrated and loved. Though Shiva knows that Prafulla loves her immensely, he does not like the way she is trying to show this off to him. She would keep doing it, just to multiply his vexation and show the greater hold. And Shiva will not let that happen again. This shouldn't happen again, she should not have the guts to do that ever. Shiva gets up, surprising everyone. He folds his sleeves and looks at his so called Maami who thinks she can grab Raavi away just by throwing random sweet talks and silly kisses. Raavi frowns, her cheeks become puffier; rattling Shiva further.

"Kya hua?" Raavi walks up to him, her big eyes are wide and confused.

"Maama ji, I'm sorry." Shiva states.

"Raavi, I want to kiss you too. Maasi hi kyun?"

Raavi narrows her brows; her cheeks redden as he speaks out his desire. She tries to contemplate the meaning of his words. Raavi knows the about the fondness he has over her cheeks; he would often want to bite them. She did not think he would get bothered by her Maasi's actions. Licking her lips, she nods doubtfully. What will he do? Just peck her cheek in front of them? Or kiss her forehead lightly. As far as Raavi knows, Shiva will not shower his love in front of people. He is not that kind and when they are alone, they go wild. Her breath hitches at that thought; his expressions do not put off the fire burning within her.

Immediately, she feels his lips on hers.

She is shocked and electrified by the touch of his lips; her legs wobble along the action. To her dismay, he pulls away from her too quickly. A tingle scoots up her spine when her eyes meet his darkened and lusted ones. She heard some clutter during their moment; she blinks her eyes and tries to shift her focus on that. She avoids looking at her Maasa and Maasi; the idiot has left her flustered after all.

"Oh maro bhogilal yeh kya dhekna padgaya bhai?" Prafulla slaps her head, stunned by Shiva's action. She would have been happy if someone plucked out her eyeballs and offered them to the crows. She wouldn't have witnessed all this right in front of her. For the first time, Prafulla feels helpless. What will she do now? Had they done this before? And Raavi is blushing? She wants to burry herself under the ground. The idea of Shiva and Raavi doing more than the reckless kiss aggravates a tension within Prafulla. She can chew a thousand worms but never see Shiva kissing Raavi again.

Jagat coughs, nodding his head impossibly. Their so called tradition does not allow them to do what they did; but Prafulla needed it. She will not shut up otherwise. What can he conclude from their never ending fights anyways? Shiva warned him beforehand and also, Raavi is beet red; if that does not speak; nothing will. He only shifts his hopeless look to his wife. He cannot feel her plight because they know, she started it first.

Shiva looks back at his Maami with a profound glare. She dare not do what she did today. Shiva is sure that Prafulla will never attempt to do this ever in this life time. He walks away to wash his hands and moves to Raavi's room; he has to spend a night here and he is sure that Raavi would fill him her angered rants. 'Shiva why did you kiss me like that?'

'Shiva in front of Maasa pa and Maasi?'

'Shiva what is wrong with you?' She would blush along the question and then he will have a hard time resisting her again; he nods his head impossibly. He is ready to hear every syllable from her question but what will he say in return?

That he wanted to bite her cheeks but then he aimed to keep it simple.

Dyuti🤗!!!! I loved it!!!! Shiva and Maami used to have such a fun rivalry in the initial post leap episodes.... Maami's probably going to sanitise Raavi's room after they leave in the fear that they might have had sex or something....
