Bold: So true! I also didn’t know to cook much when I moved here! but learnt and I am fully independent now!
being independent and doing your chores gives you confidence to take on life head on, like if something goes wrong , i can still manage!
people should be taught cooking and cleaning after themselves from a young age 😊

Anyway as long as she gets a job and becomes financially independent, it's all good. She is right you cannot be asking money for everything from Gautam or Dhara. It is ok to earn your own money for buy your own things and save/invest. This joint family pool money is all old concept, won't work in many households.

But I grew up in one such joint family until I was married off into a nuclear family😆

True! Honestly, they all should have their own source of income/ share from the store based on the work they do. And they can give some fixed amount to Dhara for household expenses (including Gaumbi contribting their share). That pool can be used for parties, etc.

That's what they did in BBb, and I loved it.

The writers are slowly getting them out of the picture by showing such scenes so the fans can start disliking them and move on or their strategy is to show Shiva in such a poor light, so he gets full on redemption and works hard to get Raavi back like one of those Gul shows, her ML's are the worst ever😕

Yeah some places domestic help is very expensive. Some countries we lived in my mom had a bunch of them come she was happiest then lol Dad had to learn stuff too but he was always independent so he did not get spoiled by his mom syndrome lol even when I got older I had to learn how to clean the bathroom and my room. I still prefer to take care of my things myself I don't even ask domestic help for anything even though we have them. My mom is a little OCD so everything has to be clean lol
