That's a beautiful way if putting it, but I always thought he wanted that+some who adores and lives family. Who doesn't have an evil bone/malice in their heart.

Remember beginning of the Haveli track when Raavi joined hands with Rishita and was being snarky (in the scene in my dp), where he tells her that I thought you wanted to be like Dhara, why are you changing then?

Maybe I'm thinking too much about this (after today's episode, I definitely have), but I thought @bold was Shiva's way of closing his heart off (essentially an excuse he tells himself so he never gets close to her) whenever he saw Raavi hugging and smiling with his family.

I thought that track you mentioned was another scene of him telling himself just how different they are, and how he is disappointed in her for "changing" herself to prove a point to him, hence him saying, "I thought you wanted to be like Dhara, why are you changing then?"

Bring on the separation track! It’s the need of the hour! Because there is no way these two can move ahead without it! Won’t defend nor blame either one. They both have their share of mistakes and most importantly, both of them need to introspect. The way their relationship was moving ahead was super unhealthy!

This❤️ although Raavi should not have said those things but I guess Shiva needed that final push for going ahead with separation

baby steps, I was just expecting her to walk away after this whole ordeal but she completely blew my expectations out of the water by finally standing up to him
