It's not like they got this new massive fame due to their actual talent. As for the kids celebs can have fans of different ages but it's the parents responsibility to ensure their kids are not engaging in things that are beyond their age. We all grew up in the age of internet and SM but I remember as a kid I would never think of emailing or messaging a fav celeb or buying things for them and my parents never had to tell me this either. Parents these days need to keep a better eye on the kids celebs are not their babysitters making sure they don't cross a line.

Okay I agree that we have no right to ask them to announce.. and also I agree about the parents keeping a check on the kids.

But don't you think that how currently KDICE post and everything is leading those kids on purpose.. ?

I spoke about this earlier as well as famous people there is a lot of social responsibility that comes along with the popularity... they clearly know the audience and their age group that follow them and the sentiments these kids attach to these couples and how invested they get in them.. so don't you think they should be a little careful while posting?

I know you'd say kids shouldn't be on SM and all, I totally agree.. but u see there are thousands of kids.. can't control everyone.. can't even counsel everyone's parents to keep a check.. what can be controlled is sensible posting by the actors.. and I don't mean to control it myself, I'm nobody to do that.. they need to be cautious themselves.

About sidnaaz you're correct that they didn't do anything mahaan... but I was talking about the massive fan following they have on SM.. they handle it well.. don't rile up fans unnecessarily and draw a line between personal and professional life.. that is it.

We can't censor how they post and what hash tags they use lol again kids are immature but lots of adult fans can't differentiate either lol these actors are not that masterful that they play around and lead these fans all the time sometimes ppl need to take responsibility of their own delusions lol

Also if this is real then again why should they censor themselves again lol people need to learn how to differentiate and kids need to be monitored lol

These actors are not the first ones who have had to deal with crazy fans and even if they were perfectly careful the fans would start pestering them on why don't they post this and start making up things between them when there is nothing either way it's a mess.

In the industry they are in they get jobs due to SM presence unfortunately and you have to play a role. Most of their posts have been show related anyway barring some and they are promoting their show which is important. Also some actors like posting stuff we again can't force them to censor themselves every actor has their own way. As long as they are not doing anything criminal or bad we can't judge them on their choices lol

Sindnaaz fanbase is more adult as the viewers of BB are that age. I don't follow them but their fandom thinks these two are the best thing since slice bread so their delusional level can be seen lol they don't need to rile up their fans they are already nuts lol

Both of you bring up very valid points, and I agree wholeheartedly in every way possible! Initially, I didn't care whether KD or Alice were together/not together. They are people who have personal lives. If they found happiness in each other, great. But if they choose to stay as friends, that's great just as well. What I do have a problem with, as both of you alluded to, is celebrity ownership that some so called "fans" are showing.

I don't think anyone on IF has crossed those boundaries yet. Mostly, it's been pure speculation (even the few posts that I made, it was mostly simple observations I've noticed and as well as my opinions based on what I've seen from my friends around me). Instagram and Twitter are a whole other universe. There's no filter, and it doesn't help that KD and Alice trend with each picture they have as a pair. I don't mind seeing KD and Alice... but I would really love to see KD and Alice with other cast members.

My favorite BTS posts have been Kanwar and Simran's dancing picture, Kanwar running after Mohit who was dressed as kesar, Mohit and Simran acting like monkeys while climbing up a tree, Alice + Simran + Pallavi's gulaabo dance, and Shiny+Lavesh, Kinshuk+Divya, Alice, Akshay, and Simran going bonkers dancing in a room in the haveli. In all of these posts, I saw the cast members friendship and that honestly is so much more magical than the speculative relationship between KD and Alice.

My roommate and I were talking about celebrity ownership the other day (this was related to One Direction since there was a lot). It honestly is such an appalling behavior. It starts off small and seemingly innocent like "You two are perfect" (which by the way, is still a little creepy since the audience knows nothing of how KD and Alice are really like) to "You should start dating" to "You both should get married" 🙄. OD and BTS fans (some of the crazy ones) even go to the length of using their social media power to bring down other celebrities in order to "protect" their favorites.

Perhaps PS fans won't ever get to that level. However, the seemingly silent actions of KD and Alice (liking, sharing, reposting) will slowly get out of hand. I'm not saying they need to come forward and announce. But instead, I think they should do as Sakshi said. Take a step back and be more cautious of the posts. Move away from promoting purely ShiVi (especially since the show has scenes of them) to promoting scenes with other co-stars (for example, Alice + Simran and Mohit or Kanwar + Akshay). It would create a more positive atmosphere, and without content, fans won't have the fuel to move on.

To be or not to be!

Is it real or is it for reel....

Well, for me: A selfish PS viewer- reel is VERY important. Priority.

Want the show to run longer, keep giving us entertainment, keep these wonderful ensemble cast busy in their creative roles.

Happy for & love offscreen bondings, friendships, more maybes!

Perhaps this is the only show that has a lead pair with such a craze both on & offscreen. Look at the likes they get on pictures- more than that on pictures of a couple who got married.

Achcha lagta hai to see their on/offscreen banter, comfort. Lines are blurred & guess it is going to be a task for them to manage it. But than it is completely their own personal choice.

As viewers one can only like/appreciate or ignore.

This love, support, craze brings in a responsibility.

And that's where my concern comes in. Social media, we like it or not, is Highly influential medium. One good example was recent movements & how it were globaly replicated by teen agegroups. A visible dominos.

When a hugely popular star, who knows he has actual children following, need to be a bit more careful to upload certain activities.

Karna na karna- their personal choice, won't go there. But to showcase it is wrong imho.

Another thing, which imho, will boomerang if not managed tactically is Bhaichara management. Being overdone. family involvement is good, but it should not become a liability. Intially achchaa jayega, jaise abhi ja raha hai- though adds up chances of blowing things in wrong way.- Again my opinion.

Chanels do watch out what these actors put, how they interact.

Post pandemic, infact in still running pandemic- they have all got such good opportunities, so much love (touch wood) then please balance it.

Thoda sambhal ke. Daily brotherly inputs are not necessary. Let actors focus, work, progress.

I belong to trp aunties age (what is trp aunties age, btw?), So feel bit weird commenting on this thread. Reel interests me more. Have been into real/reel mixup in a show long time ago, never again.

Ho jaaye toh happy- else love my characters.

Btw, dear young ones- let me tell you- this forum will keep pulling you back. I am not regularly active- reactivated account for GHKKPM for a bit(reel-real tamasha kicked off my that show interest) & switched to PS.

So every now and then till eternity you will keep coming back to IF in future- for one show or the other. Relating it in different ways.

Bas ye likhna tha. Universe ma badhu saras chhe!

Sorry for jumping in your discussion.

Agree with you and just adding to your opinion.

Unfortunately, this is the new reality of this industry. SM is huge part of their projects. That's why some of the former child actors (Anushka, Avneet, etc.) have left TV to focus on growing their SM content. This is their bread and butter. KD has seen struggling days and knows how hard it is to find work. Then when he has a chance, there's no harm in capitalizing it if he's using this as a marketing tool. If there's nothing going on between KD/AK then this is strictly business for them. ShiVi/AU Shivi is in demand on SM Not just bely kids and teens but married women too (as seen some going frantic on their lives). I don't mind as long as they don't post any obscene content. Similar to ShiVi content, off-screen drama also sells in TV land. If they really wanted to play the game, we would have known of the feud between AK/KD and Pallavi. Someone could have leaked it and it would have been making headlines. But they remain professional and stayed away from the negative limelight.

However, seeing how their friends and family are commenting on it, I think their relationship is real. They may or may not want to officially announce it, but it's their decision. Similarly, it's their SM and they are free to post whatever they want. They can't curate their feeds so such comments stop coming. I mean even before they posted their recent posts, people started speculating things and were making similar requests. "Please tell them to get married in real life." The line needs to be drawn by the fans. And the responsibility lies with parents. They should have parental controls.

@Karan's post, there are definitely two ways of looking at it. I cringed reading the fans comment. But I didn't interpret it as him leading them on or encouraging bad behavior as he's posting this and the fans would get some publicity. Will some do that, sure?! But it probably didn't cross his mind.

Reading his comments underneath it, I saw it as a way to educate the the fan and others with a similar mentality. For all we know, he could have been bombarded with such messages. And he uses humor to get the message across. He's done that in the past and it has worked in some cases too.

I rarely come to this thread but this is such a beautiful post I can’t agree more 🤗 I personally believe Karan should take a small step back as well. He can promote his kid bro but I do believe he should use his account a bit more cautiously (for his own security). Of course, in the end it’s an individual decision but there are sensitive people out there dealing with various issues and one should be mindful of that when interacting. Sometimes it’s good to limit the level of access certain people have to you.

Agreed! I would love if we get bts of other cast members with KD & Alice. This is an ensemble so every dynamic deserves to be promoted. One thing I said earlier that I believe applies here (this was months ago) - personally I think social media promotion is wonderful but just like everything else, should be done in moderation. Overdoing it can cause more harm than good. Firstly, it can lead the writers to believe they can get away with lazy writing when it comes to ShiVi just because fans want them in the same frame. That would be a shame because their story has immense potential. It can also make this scenes appear repetitive. These two have wonderful chemistry on-screen but there is so much more they have to offer as actors. I would love to see Alice explores different facets of Raavi, ones that don’t always have a direct relation to Shiva. And vice versa. I really enjoyed how Alice promoted her previous show. It was just the right balance and I admired her so much for it. I’m sure she’s under a lot more pressure now but I would love to see that balance here with her and KD.

Honestly, in the end all this is just another line on their contract that must be fulfilled. I hope fans understand that. But like everything else, there is individual judgement that should be applied here. Striking the right balance is key and there is a healthy way to promote. Clearly they know how obsessed certain fans are. It’s not secret. I would love to see them take a step back and re-evaluate their strategy. It’ll prove to be beneficial in the long run. Toxic fans follow celebs and can ruin their reputation to an extent (I have seen that happen). For their sake, they should nip it in the bud while it’s early and get into the habit of setting boundaries. Otherwise, it will follow them wherever they go next. It’s wonderful to promote, appreciate and be accessible to fans. I just hope they evaluate the pros & cons and do what’s best for them.

As for those fans, I have nothing to say. I simply don’t understand their point of view. Its not easy for celebs to deal with such fans. I really hope these young children realize that they have lives outside of these celebs. And there is so much out there outside of social media! It’ll be a shame if they miss out on all the wonderful experiences and the chance to grow. It’s easy to say something behind a screen but it’s not until you go out there and experience things, that you learn, grow and evolve!

This ended up being much longer than I expected… I just wanted to tell you how much I loved your post! But as usual kept going on and on 😆

Avi, I have no problem with them dating or not dating and remain friends for life. But their fans mostly are those belonging to impressionable age who spend countless hours waiting for their posts, commenting on them to get together and some even go to the extent of asking them to marry. The one comment Karan shared takes the cake. Why do the fans have to worry about Karan’s marriage now and why is Karan publicizing it. It is never ending and these fans are getting sucked into this. Promoting a show with co stars is different from what currently KD and AK are doing. I had mentioned earlier that they need to tone down whatever they are doing right now and not play with the emotions of the fans.

As for your last point, as soon as I saw the KD’s reel with Akshay last week, my comment in the EDTvwas “ finally it was good to see KD with other actors” I welcome all of that and I would like to see BTS of Alice and KD with all the other actors of the show which we used to get during marriage track.
