The story I read it was long back when I was in college in some local magazine which was published in urdu and hindi... The story was of two brothers and a girl and that girl was married to elder brother but she was in love with younger. She sent a letter to the younger brother before dying 'jaan gayi thi arse pahle ki tum haseel-e-jist na the, fir bhi na jane kyun bunti thi ankhein khawab tumhara.. I don't remember the whole thing but the poem was painful.

One more quote I remember 'sleepless nights are not that bad, it is just you lost something which you never had' apki ravi par sateek baithta hai...
