No, it wasn't; it's a very severely low IQ conducted interview. Take it from someone who has more than a decade long career in communication. Very juvenile and underwhelming.

All is well in their Land. Btw, did anyone notice the flak received by the interviewer on Instagram for yesterday live. Everyone bashed her for only being interested in his love life!

I'm glad they replied appropriately, thankfully ShiVi fandom is pretty mature. The interview would've been fine if it stayed as professional as it started out. A couple of personal questions are expected in every interview. This one just fishtailed into his love life after a couple of interesting questions. I really wish atleast one credible journalist would interview him - he's an amazing actor who I'm sure would enjoy talking about his craft and show more than gossip, and fans would be interested in listening to it too.

It's bad to place the blame on fans for everything - I'm sure there must've been many interesting and worthwhile questions they didn't choose, and a lot of personal questions would've been their own interjections. The same thing happened with the article, claiming fans' curiosity - correct me if I'm wrong, but the fandom on twitter and the forum is very respectful of their private life. I've only seen the repetitive cringey comments on insta, usually by the same users.

There were so many questions that could have been asked about the role. About the preparations, look. What's Shiva’s thought process? His aspirations.

It appeared as if the interviewer was fangirling and blushing, ready to link him with every girl he had worked with.

My problem has always been with such inconvenient questions and speculations. Why are we so interested in their dating life instead of their craft?

Well, such clickbait tabloids are okay for certain content pieces once in a while, but I didn't understand the purpose of never having I ever game too?

Like what was even happening in that!

Is it just me or is Kinshuk's acting off too in certain scenes nowadays? I've felt it in his emotional scenes with Dhara, like today's confrontation of Gaura by Suman. His face just looks unconvincing to me.

Exactly! She could've used the chance to ask him about the role and his career in general, even interesting trivia, or play a game that had more than gossip to it. I was getting secondhand embarrassment towards the end of it, I wonder how she kept asking those questions repeatedly with so much enthusiasm. Hats off to KD for handling the interview so patiently and professionally. I would've expected a reaction from any celeb, he kept calm and was being very sweet.

As much as I enjoy a little insight into offscreen camaraderie, interviews like this are petty. I was waiting for her to ask something else... we get it, Alice is a friend, he gets linked with his costars, everyone's curiosity is satiated, can you please move on now 🤪

Lol, I open up IF after a 2 day hiatus (I'm at my parent's house and it would be quite difficult to be on IF all the time and not arouse any suspicion (plus, my American roommate pretty much figured out that I am on the forum + write fanfiction (she's read a couple stories and even made some suggestions 🤣)), but I see this thread, get so excited... and then I realize this is literally an EDT 🤣

Nivi, if you ever start another AU thread, be sure to tag me! I have a ton of AU ideas and would love to write them down if anyone ever wants to pick it up! I feel like writing them down now would be so inappropriate with the current discussion 😆
