Mirchi:
Bam. He felt the bike swerve in odd directions, slowly losing control over its motion. In an effort to save his Maami Ki Behen Ki Beti, he had collided with a basket of mirchi. Both him and that chipkali had fallen from the impact and he looked over to see her laying on the ground. Dressed in a blue sparkly anarkali, she looked like a 1000-volt lightbulb that would rapidly blink giving everyone a headache. Damn he wished he could snuff out the light from her but no matter what he did, she always sported a huge smile with each one of her 32 teeth visible.
Even in this fallen state, she was smiling like a buffoon and while he wanted to slap that smile straight off her face, he couldnât remove his eyes from her for even a second. He had to watch each and every single move of this gadheri as she had the habit of spilling even more raita if she was unwatched for even a second.
âOye dekh ke nahi chal sakta kya. Ab kya aise junglee bhalu ki tara ghoor tha rehega ya utay ga bhi.â Raavi huffed out in annoyance.
âAaye tu order kisko derahi hai? Zyada bolegi nah toh sach main tere upar biea chaldunga samjhi.â Shiva glared at her while getting up and dusting the mirchi off of himself.
âOrder nahi request karahi hoon. Par tujh jaise jahil se umeed karna he bekaar hai. Logo ke takarane se phool ghir the hai aur tune toh mirchi ghira dala.â Raavi shoved all of the mirchi off of herself and was shocked to find Shiva actually extending his hand.
As soon as she went to accept his hand, he moved it away from her grasp and started singing, âMain toh raaste se jaraha tha. Motorcycle chala raha tha. Tujhe mirchi lagi toh main kya karu. Hai tujhe mirchi lagi toh main kya karu.â He circled around her, dancing with the weirdest steps known to mankind with the sole intention of annoying her.
Raavi got up by herself and was about to yell at him but chose another technique instead. âShiva dekh ye bahoth gandi baat hoti hai. Tu aapne hone wali Bhabhi ke saath aise flirt nahi karsakta samjha.â
Shiva halted at her words and glared at her. âAe chipkali, tu meri Bhabhi iss janam main toh kya, aagle sau janam main nahi ban payegi.â
âAcha toh matlab tu flirt karaha tha?â Raavi asked while blinking shyly, a technique she had mastered after the gola incident.
âAe Maami Ki Behen Ki Beti, bakwaasâŚâ Raavi didnât let Shiva complete his sentence and retorted back, âAe MaasaPa Ke Behen Ke Beta. Sudharja. Tujhe ditne doore dalne hai mujhpe dal le lekin main hamesha Dev ki team main hi rahongi.â
Upon hearing her reply, Shiva was reminded of the similar incident that had occurred during their childhood. He had become quite bored with his mundane life and had made his way over to his Maamiâs house to have some fun teasing her. There he found her inhaling dhoklas at the speed of lightening, her cheeks full as if she had just completed the chubby bunny challenge.
âKha kha pet bhar ke kha chudail Maami.â He said, hiding behind a wall. His Maami looked up from her plate frightened, momentarily choking on the dhokla. âAare itna tuss tuss ke kayegi toh ye toh hona hi tha.â As soon as she saw him come into her view, Maami started choking even more. She knew that if Shiva had come here readily by himself, then she was definitely done for.
She saw the plate she had given to the Pandyas and laughed at him. âOh bhai, ye toh vohi bheek maangne wali thaal hai jo maine di thi na. Jal ja yaha sa, ek dela bhi nahi dungi tereko.â
Shiva glared at his Maami, becoming increasingly furious at her insults. She moved towards him to throw him out and he saw the perfect opportunity. He spilled the marbles he had brought in the plate, and she slipped on them immediately, brutally falling on her back.
âAee gadhera ruk tujhe abhi zameen pe ghirathi hoon. Ruk.â She got up from the ground but fell once again as Shiva had pulled out even more marbles from his pocket. âHai margayi main toh.â
Shiva replied, âAbhi nahi maari. Ek aur baar gira doon? Shayad bhagwan teri baat sun lega.â
Hearing her MaasiMa screech, Raavi came running out of her room to see what was going on. She started to laugh hysterically at the scene in front of her. Shiva stopped what he was doing after hearing her laugh, and while it was piercing his ears incessantly, it also sounded like music to his ears. But alas, his hatred for Maami and anyone related to her won and he said, âAee Maami Ki Behen Ki Beti. Aise ke ke ke kya karahi hai. Tu rehti yahan hai par batheese aise dekha thi hai jaise tu humare team main hai.â His team, it had a certain ring to it, but Shiva couldnât figure out if it was good or bad.
âTere team mein toh main kabhi nahi aaongi. Par Dev ki team main rahongi. Hamesha.â His blood boiled at his words. Yet again, she had started her Dev jhaap in the middle of their fight. Was she that at loss of words that she couldnât argue with anything else but Devâs name? What had been an enjoyable start to another argument, had been ruined by her already. She always ruined his fun before it even started. And what was so wrong with being on his team?
âChal bhaag. Tujhe gusne kon dega Dev ke team main bhi. Chipkali kenkhi.â Shiva slammed the plate on the ground, enraged with how the tables had turned on him. He shot one last glare towards Raavi and sulked out of the house.
âKaha koh gaya hai tu? Mujhe pata hai ke main Somnath ki sabse sundar ladki hoon par itna ghoorna teek baat nahi hai.â Shiva came back to the present and replied, âSundar nahi bandar. Bilkul bandharo wali shakal hai teri.â Not wanting to engage with her further, Shiva picked up his helmet and sat on his bike. He started the engine, causing all the dust to fly into Raaviâs face.
He heard her wail from the side and sighed, natak shuro iska. Raavi jumped on the back of his bike, and he tried to shove her off to no avail. âChal teekhe dono ki galti. Dono ka sorry cancel. Shiva please mujhe Kanta Kaki ke function mein leja. Dev mera wait karaha hoga.â
âTera phir ye Dev wala jhaap chalo. Tu takthi nahi uska naam lete lete.â Shiva huffed out in irritation.
âMohabbat hai mirchi. Mohabbat hai mirchi. Mohabbat hai mirchi sanam.â Raavi started singing while dancing obnoxiously, the whole bike shaking in the process. Shiva plugged his ears from the horrible singing and finally pushed her off of the bike.
âTujhe itni mohabbat hai mirchi se toh jaake nahle mirchi ke soup mein. Mera aur Dev ka peecha chod.â
Raavi started fake crying at his words which gathered everyoneâs attention. Kaka came running out of the store and asked, âSu tayu?â
âKaka dekho na pehle toh isne mujhe bike se patak diya. Chot lagake langra kardia. Dhool udake poora chehra kharab kardia. Aur ab mujhe bol raha hai ke bike se utharja.â Raavi continuously sobbed while telling Kaka what happened, making sure to emphasize her syllables. Kaka looked at her sympathetically and told Shiva to take her.
âAhhhâ Raavi clutched her leg for emphasis, âLag tha hai chota sa cute wala fracture aagaya hai. Main nahi chal paongi.â
Shiva got off the bike and turned towards her. âFracture agaya hai?â She nodded him at innocently, pouting at him with the cutest expression she could muster. Shiva grabbed her leg and started to inspect it, pressing certain parts in a massage motion.
Weirded out by his care and proximity, Raavi tried to pull her leg away. âKya karaha hai Shiva, chod mujhe.â
Shiva kept pressing her leg, enjoying her discomfort. âNahi tujhe chot mere wajese lagi hai na toh proper massage toh karna padega.â Raavi jumped off the bike and started hopping around him.
âDekh koi chot nahi lagi hai mujhe.â Shiva smirked at her while Raavi hit her head with her hand. Everyone one was starting at her in awe and shook their heads at the drama she had done. Seeing that nothing had actually happened, everyone left leaving just her and Shiva.
Shiva once again got on the bike to leave but Raavi held onto the bars. âShivaaaaaaaaaa. Pleaseeeeee. Mujhe lekar ja na. Pleaseeeee.â He groaned in frustration and signaled for her to get on the bike just to shut her up.
Raavi squealed in happiness and got on the bike, facing sideways. âTeek se baith. Ye kya ladkiyo ki taara baithi hai.â Raavi rolled her eyes and sat again with one leg on each side of the bike. She put her hand on his shoulder, but he removed it as he wouldnât be able to concentrate on riding the bike with her current running through him.
On the way to the hall, Raavi would continuously put her hand on his shoulder which he would have to swipe away every single time. âAe haath dhoor rakh.â
âDhang se chalayga toh mujhe haath rakhna nahi padega. Mujhe koi shauk nahi hai tujh jaise kirane ki dukkan ko chune ka. Samjhe.â Shiva made a face at her statement but decided to ignore her.
Raavi couldnât handle the smell of masala and oil that was reeking from Shivaâs clothes and pulled out a bottle of perfume. She proceeded to spray his whole body, distracting Shiva from his driving. He abruptly stopped the bike. âKyu rokhi bike?â
âYe kya karahi thi?â Shiva asked her while turning back to look at her.
âJitna tolerate karsakti thi kiya maine par tera ye masala aur thel ki badbao aur bardaash nahi karsakthi.â
âTu khud chep banke beti thi bike par. Chal bike khaali kar.â His annoyance was reaching new peaks.
âLift maangi thi tujhse, chep nahi banrahi thi. Tu soch le Shiva, shaadi karke tere hi ghar aana hai. Chun chun ke lungi badla.â Raavi said as she got off the bike.
âAe tu Maami Ki Behen Ki Beti hai aur main Shiva, mel banta he nahi.â Shiva replied while also getting off the bike.
âTujh jaise junglee bhalu ke saath mel banana kon chata hai. Main toh Dev ki baat karahi thi.â Raavi huffed out while crossing her arms.
Shiva pulled his hair out in frustration. He quickly got on the bike as he wanted to leave before her Dev jhaap began. Dev Dev Dev. He was beginning to hate the name. Raavi pleaded with him to take her to the hall, but he didnât listen to her and drove away.
She wailed in his direction and stomped her feet in aggravation, not noticing that the entire route to the hall, he had watched her through his rearview mirror to make sure she had reached safely.
Hello meri jaans đ¤
Thank you so much for all the love and support on my last one shot? It really meant so much to me đł I appreciate each and every like and comment.
Based on everyone's suggestions I went ahead with the mirchi scene but added a flashback childhood scene so that both sides were pleased đ
Thoughts? Suggestions? Concerns?
Please tell me how you feel, I am eager for all of your feedback
What should be the next scene?
I wanted to skip all the way to today's bathtub scene 𤣠but I want to maintain the chronological sequence. Maybe I'll upload a separate one shot for that đ
Until then...
Love,
Mrs. Dhillon đ¤Ł
Hey you didn't include that dialogue,"jangli bhalu hun , noch dalunga" something like that. Was the dialogue in this scene or another?
Poor Shiva! If only he could realise why his own brotherâs name was annoying him đ
He loves his chipkali
Lol Raavi and her tantrums𤣠I like how Shiva gets frustrated with her Dev jaap 𤣠Har argument me Dev ghusa chala aata hai useless kahi ka đ¤Ł
And do write an OS regarding today's bathtub scene đ
