How was it a prank?? Didn't Shiva himself admitted they did this because Rishita insults Gaura. A prank is a trick played on someone as a joke, but, Shiva Krish from the starting wanted to scare Rishita as a punishment of disrespecting Gaura, they didn't want to make a fool of her, they wanted her to pay the price of Gaura's disrespect. From the starting it was planned as a revenge move from them rather than a simple prank Rishita was traumatized in the first go itself, they enjoyed that and went ahead with it, everytime there was a fight. The girl was literally choking, fainted but Krish chose to runaway to save himself when he heard Dev's voice, ya ofcourse he was sorry for that but he did leave her there. He didn't confessed , he was caught, and that's a big difference. Had he helped Rishita after seeing her condition, owned his mistakes in front of the family, the scenario would have been completely different but he was caught and hence the reaction were different. In the first condition a heartfelt apology would have done wonders, whereas the second condition required punishment . Shiva when confronted by Raavi made Krish a gay just to save themselves and their plan.So, how exactly this is a mere prank, when the character themselves agree that they did it on purpose. Rishita is a brat and self centred person but she doesn't sit and plan to hurt someone, she hurts because that's her nature and upbringing( which is extremely bad). Whereas Shiva-Krish planned to hurt her. Coming to Dhara beating boys, there are many mother's in the world who beat their kids when they do something wrong, yes they are grown up by age, but their prank was very childish, and a child always remain child in mother's eyes.( Though I hated the scene myself because of execution as I hate violence😆) . Gaura want Rishita to feel the love between the brothers not Dev to feel the hatred for Rishita among family. They want Sabka saath Sabka Vikas🤣 so they silences Shiv Krish when they speak against Rishita as it will distance Dev too especially not for the reason that she doesn't respect Gaura.

Agreed it was not a prank but a well-executed revenge. I'm not condoning it. Infact they should be reprimanded, beaten even but all this should have been done privately or atleast the beating should have been done privately. If not then, Dev should also have been beaten up for Raavi's suicide attempt.

Exactly if Dev too would have been beaten, stripped down from his self respect by Dhara Devi then this thrashing won't have become that big of a issue.

Problem was the hypocrisy Dhara shows towards Shiva Raavi Krish and Dev Rishita.

Even in today's episode she gave kadha to Rishita but talked horribly with Raavi when honestly she is the only person who isn't doing anything to anyone ( keep her relationship with Shiva aside bcoz earlier Shiva has treated her worst).

Everyone In the family used her, broke her trust but Dhara talks with her like everything is going According to Raavi and she is throwing tantrums.

The attachment is ditaching for me for the show. Even Shiva Krish and Dev moments looked soo forced. His wife was badmouthing his brothers but he never said a shit. He saw Raavi coming he knew it will be a big boast for Shivi's relationship but he didn't stopped her. Atleast if he tells Shiva about Raavi coming would be a big help.

All the mess is by Dev but he roams around like all the bad things r happening to him.

I agree it wasn't a prank, it was sheer stupidity . How did Shiva think all this will make rishita respect gaura ? Equal and opposite reaction to this absurdity was dharas decision and her beating up Shiva and krish 🤢Like..this will make both of them respect rishita. Wo koi circus ke Bandar hain Jinko dhara hunter maar maar ke discipline karegi?

Infact after this scene I wud love to see her "parvarish" failing. Let this be ghum hai kisi ke pyar mein part 2🤣

I sweetly disagree.

Keeping the whole Dev Rishita Raavi point aside, if we talk just about Shiva Krish Rishita, shiva and Krish did make a mistake. Not a sin. A mistake. It is ok to prank someone but their prank should not have pushed a girl to panic. She was gasping for breath and almost lost consciousness. Isn’t that serious enough?

When you see something and try to put yourself in that position, would you let the pranksters off the hook so easily? Pranks need to be safe. It shouldn’t make someone lose their voice due to excessive screaming due to mind numbing heartbreaking fear. Pranks are innocent. Here, however innocent their intention was, the prank in itself had the capacity to push Rishita to a attack to the heart. So I disagree that there is no ghalti. There was definitely a ghalti and there was a saza (grown ups shouldn’t be hit like this, even children shouldn’t, but in their family it does work).

Coming to Dev and Raavi. That guy is guilty. We are shown that. He cannot meet Raavi’s eyes properly. Yes he haven’t apologised to her but he has shown subtly how much guilty he is. But for the viewers, until and unless it isn’t vocalised it doesn’t count. And until that comes about however he shows that he loves his fam, however much he shows his guilt, he won’t achieve redemption according to the viewers. For me, the line he is trying manage between his chosen wife and his family is a part of his redemption.

Coming to Dhara. Dhara’s character played by Shiny does come with its disadvantages. Dhara is older than the three brothers by ten years and more. And she has taken care of them beautifully for ten years and even before that I guess. So when she hits them, they stay put. Even though it seems over the top to you, believe you me it does happen. Mothers and mother figures are that much respected in our cultures. However wrong it seems, but if she asks for their life they will surrender it to her. I do not advocate violence but this Happens. And as far as Dhara... do you honestly think she does these things selfishly? She is a human. Flawed. And I believe this incident is showing us just that. She has to be flawed, imperfect and she has to grow as the family grows and thats what Gautam was trying to tell her too. Nothing comes about in days. It will take time. The family adjustments will take time. Dhara will take time. Shivi will take time. As viewers we might be disappointed but as makers they are going slow with acceptable care to details.
