What galti and saza are you talking about Dev?

Yet again I have not seen the episode, I can't bear to see such unnecessary melodrama but I did some clips

Dev was saying to Rishita"unhe unki galti ki saza mil gayi hai"

What galti? What saza?

Did they put a girl on the brink of suicide? Did they promise someone else and was going to marry someone else? Did they dump such an obnoxious girl on thier family?

NO

All they did was prank your wife. That's it

And for such a small act they are being bashed and beaten up left right and center

Agar kisi ko saza milani chahiye wo Dev hai but he sheds some tears and is left scot-free. His wife insulted everybody but is treated with kid-gloves. Why such partiality?

There is a saying in Hindi "dabne wale ko duniya aur dabati hai"

This fits perfectly on Shiva-Krish. They both worship the very ground Dhara walks on and she tampers with thier feelings in the name of motherhood. I was a big fan of Dhara for her sacrifices and immense love for the brothers but the last 2 episodes have butchered her character to no extent

It’s funny how in this show scaring someone or pranks are more worse than smoking, which could potentially kill you. God knows what the Pandya family do on Halloween.

Keeping the whole Dev Rishita Raavi point aside, if we talk just about Shiva Krish Rishita, shiva and Krish did make a mistake. Not a sin. A mistake. It is ok to prank someone but their prank should not have pushed a girl to panic. She was gasping for breath and almost lost consciousness. Isn’t that serious enough?

When you see something and try to put yourself in that position, would you let the pranksters off the hook so easily? Pranks need to be safe. It shouldn’t make someone lose their voice due to excessive screaming due to mind numbing heartbreaking fear. Pranks are innocent. Here, however innocent their intention was, the prank in itself had the capacity to push Rishita to a attack to the heart. So I disagree that there is no ghalti. There was definitely a ghalti and there was a saza (grown ups shouldn’t be hit like this, even children shouldn’t, but in their family it does work).

Coming to Dev and Raavi. That guy is guilty. We are shown that. He cannot meet Raavi’s eyes properly. Yes he haven’t apologised to her but he has shown subtly how much guilty he is. But for the viewers, until and unless it isn’t vocalised it doesn’t count. And until that comes about however he shows that he loves his fam, however much he shows his guilt, he won’t achieve redemption according to the viewers. For me, the line he is trying manage between his chosen wife and his family is a part of his redemption.

Coming to Dhara. Dhara’s character played by Shiny does come with its disadvantages. Dhara is older than the three brothers by ten years and more. And she has taken care of them beautifully for ten years and even before that I guess. So when she hits them, they stay put. Even though it seems over the top to you, believe you me it does happen. Mothers and mother figures are that much respected in our cultures. However wrong it seems, but if she asks for their life they will surrender it to her. I do not advocate violence but this Happens. And as far as Dhara... do you honestly think she does these things selfishly? She is a human. Flawed. And I believe this incident is showing us just that. She has to be flawed, imperfect and she has to grow as the family grows and thats what Gautam was trying to tell her too. Nothing comes about in days. It will take time. The family adjustments will take time. Dhara will take time. Shivi will take time. As viewers we might be disappointed but as makers they are going slow with acceptable care to details.

I understand that their prank crosses the line and in no way I'm condoning their act but beating the crap out of them that too in front of the two newly wed DILs? Is it justified? She could have scolded them, insulted them and even beat them privately but in public? That's humiliating to say the least.

Yes I hope she apologising for beating them in public. She has all the rights to reprimand them but it should be in a sensitive manner as to not aggravate the matter further.

Let's look at Krish, he is the youngest. Earlier in the day, he was slapped by his eldest brother later his bhabhi-ma thrashed him that too in front of the one person he doesn't like. How would this effect him mentally?

Prank crossed the line but the way they were treated was wrong.

U know problem is that we know Dhara is flawed, we saw her being hypocrite but they won't show her wrong. She will be shown as correct person even if Shivi can live individually but they won't show that they will show them struggling bcoz she is devi. Problem with ITV is that they never portray the main female lead wrong for that if they have to spoil all the good characters they will do that.

Thrashing them like animals was a big no no. Making them kneel down was a shit thing to do. Dhara was earlier torturing specially Shiva mentally and emotionally from yesterday's episode started doing physical too.

She gives kadha to Rishita but talks horribly with Raavi. Thrashes Shiva Krish, break their self respect but doesn't do the same with Dev when he did a bigger sin.

The hypocrisy she shows have put me off. When Suman will know and do something then they will show how bad she is and how good Dhara is.

Idk why but the love, attachment from the show isn't there. They have given us horrible episodes after Bonfire and yesterday's and today's episode was just eww.

I agree Shiva and krish crossed a line..the prank went too far..badly planned and executed. ..also rishita was gasping for breath. No matter how much I disliked her , I didn't like it..at the same time , I hated the thrashing of the two boys ..dhara acted like an animal...I have high expectations from her n she failed me.badly..a mother might raise her hand in anger but she feels guilty later..she is hurt with the pain of her children...this is no way to discipline and instill respect in them.. this is just not the way 🤢 Worse is rishita got away and she will.continue to gloat , insult and stay disrespectful to everyone whenever it suits her. How does dhara plan to teach her ? N why this hypocrisy? Shiva krish.ko maar and.rishita ko kaada? Didn't she say last.minute that she will stay away from ALL of them?

Where do I begin about Dev? His character has been weak even before the marriage track. He still hasn’t apologized to Raavi😭 but here he is reprimanding his brothers. Even when Dhara justified her actions with Gaumbi today, she never brought up Dev’s name. She only mentioned Shiva-Raavi’s fights and Rishita’s behavior towards them all. Dev gets away with everything including pushing a girl to commit suicide😕 only because he is very special to Dhara and his clingy/cry baby nature melts her so much that she is out to protect him at any cost. Dhara will support him at any cost.

Dev is a poorly written character in this version. They deviated so much from the original, that I cannot relate to him anymore😭 Also Akshay is the weakest actor of them all and has just one expression for all the scenes.

These days, I go back to the original to see Jeeva’s (Dev in the original) scenes to convince myself that this is how Dev should/would have acted😕

To accommodate Rishita and make her feel part of the family and to fulfill all of Dev’s wishes, Dhara singlehandedly destroyed Shiva, Raavi and Krish’s self respect and self worth😭

thankful beating was not shown here but the way she and Gombi are treating them they are not kids any more insulting krish infant of rishita who dest not respect any one and making Dave and the family realise give RIshta time and she left all her family is not fare towards others and especially on Ravi and Krish ,they are spoiling Rashita and Dave more and giving them them more advantages know she is tired of the situations between Shiva and Ravi and continually nagging from Rashita and no hope from Dave to sort the things up and she knows her mother in lae as well .i think she should not have taken the responsibility to get Dave Rashita get married where she got insulted and being the Shiva to marry Ravi ,, why she hid all of it from Suman ,who is the eldest in the family and the mother as well she would have every one right on her own way .
