I think the reason we have so many fanfics is because of the slow burn. We’re all frustrated

I agree it’s high time that gunda MU should get cleared. Can’t take it any longer.

@bold I agree, fanfics are a savior till the time we don't get some real action on screen.. and they sometimes raise my expectations too.

I don't know much about the original versions but are they copying or what?

It is slower than a slow burn 😭

If the makers are following the original, then the fandom should collectively take a very deep breath as it takes about 200 episodes for Mullai (Raavi) and Kathir(Shiva) to reach a point where they realized they liked each other and wanted to move forward with the marriage. It was a true slow burn. However, the journey was enjoyable as the DevTa couple were more bearable, and a lot of the important conversations like Dev-Raavi and Shiva’s breakdown were tackled at what I felt were appropriate times. Particularly, Mullai(Raavi) confronts Jeeva(Dev) in the kiss scene in the Tamil version( really gives him a earful- it was very satisfying because the couple were kissing bang in the middle of the hall 😂). Also Mullai had really good monologues where you really felt her helplessness and insecurity.

In the original, after she vents out on Dev, she also confronts Dhara, and then starts accepting that she just needs to move forward. She slowly gets back to her somewhat bubbly self while interacting with Dhara, Krish and Rishitha(yup, they have a frenemies relationship which is quite cordial), but she remains antagonistic to Kathir(Shiva) for a long long time. Though Kathir was truly a loner- a very aloof character. He wouldn’t be caught dead touching Mullai/telling her that he would “kill anyone who hurts her” 😂 he starts touching after about 200 episodes. But his journey was truly enjoyable because they peeled the onion layer by layer, and you literally would feel along with the rest of the family members that “I can’t believe this guy can change like this”

I am going to stop my rambling here to say, that we definitely should have a mountain of patience. But I felt, in the original, the pay off at the end of the journey was that much bigger.

I agree Raavi is more preoccupied that Shiva hates her than her own feelings. Right now she is a mess and she needs to talk to think clearly. She could talk to Anita or Krish or even Gaumbi considering she holds Dhara and Shiva responsible. A different point of view would do wonders to her . Personally I want anita to be the one so that sisterly bond can be explored too.

The fact that makers have been dragging a week after their marriage since a month is frustrating

As scary as 200 episodes sounds, i felt the Tamil version (I haven’t watched much, just basing this on what you and others have stated) Mulla rectifies her bond with the rest of the family before attending to her and Kathir’s bond.

But here, we see that Raavi has the closest bond (behest herself) with Shiva. We’ve already seen how much Shiva has softened towards her.
Kathir sounds even more stubborn than Shiva.

Also, the touch factor has been there in this version since day one. They’re subconsciously comfortable with it.

So do you think that maybe, we’ll see a turn around here soooner?

Yeah like İ know what happened with raavi was unfortunate .....but she behaves as she is the only one whose life got destroyed...İ understand that she is broken but everytime blaming shiva for something he hasn't done is outrageous and ridiculous...babe shiva's life also got destroyed by marrying you but he doesn't ridicule you saying that everytime....İ know you are angry but use your anger in right place...when rishita mocks or try to demean you .....you should give it back to her....stop being a crybaby everytime....and dhara why are you even here... go and sit in a mandir...we will make you a goddess ..dhara devi ki jayyy😝🙌🙌 ....like saara din roti rehti hai...desh ka saara paani dhara khatam kar deti hogi ro ro kar....😂

Ps :- sorry if was to harsh but İ felt it that way....by the way İ am neww🤗🤗 hugs and kisses all my new friend..

I honestly think once they fall in love the whole 'shivi' magic gets boring. Not only for this serial but every serial has the same problem. I havent watched today's episode yet but I agree Raavi's anger was uncalled off. Maybe instead of pushing them in the 'love' direction it would make more sense if they become friends and support each other and then slowly fall in love.

I know a lot of people will disagree but looking at it from the drama timeline, Shivi have only been married for a couple of days, 2 weeks at most if we are going there. You can't expect them to sort out their sorrows and misunderstandings so so soon. I am surprised Shiva has cooled down towards Raavi as much as he has seen in today's episode! I thought it would take him time too! Personally, I think the pace is fine considering the circumstances!

Absence makes the heart grow fonder 😉

I am glad Rishita gave Raavi a jhatka! She needed someone to be brutally honest with her. At least now she is aware of what everyone else sees however that doesn't mean she can stop being sad about her situation. If you were in her situation, I doubt you would want to forget things and get over your feelings so soon or hell even if you could. Raavi has been hurt very bad, she understands Dev was never hers. Now she needs time to overcome it and heal from this process and it takes time!

I know everyone is frustrated but the production team also has to worry about Covid-19 regulations and lockdowns. I think with the current uncertain climate in India, people are expecting way too much at this point. This might be the reason for the stretch as they can't shoot in the location they normally shoot it so they need to prolong a storyline in order to shoot for future sequences!!

I want to see progression in Rishita's story! She seems to be stuck! Her misunderstanding is a small one too! 😆

As frustrated as I get with all this when I first watch, I kind of calm down abit more when I watch it again. It's going to be a sloooow burn. And I actually want the love part to be a slow burn...but not the misunderstanding part. It really helps that any Alice and Kanwar scene is filled with chemistry, not just the accidental romantic ones...so my imagination of the future is helping me stay sane atm ❤.

Just imagine when they are in love how amazing everything will be 😭😭❤❤.

Coming back to reality when the misunderstanding is over, and the day Raavi stands in front of the whole family and lets one rip on DevTa, I will throw a party! 🥳

Forget slow burn. Apart from the proverbial bickering, their relationship is still frozen at the square one.

As it is Shivi and they are fire together, I'm up for everything CVs give us . 😳😆
