Shot 2:
Shiva groaned as the light hit his eyes, cursing the sun for ruining his already restless slumber. Raavi and her anger were relentless. He had spent the night sleeping on the ground – a few feet away from Raavi or perhaps too many feet. All night he had missed her warmth, the way her body would curve to perfectly mold against him. He really needed to get to the bottom of her anger before he spent any more nights from his beautiful and oh so sexy wife.
He looked over to the bed and found it empty which he had expected as Raavi usually prepared breakfast for the whole family with Dhara and Rishita. He quickly showered, a habit he had finally picked up with Raavi’s insistence and made his way over to the kitchen. He hoped that Raavi’s mood was lighter this morning so that he could sneak in a kiss or two before leaving for work.
He found the three-lovely daughter in laws of Pandya Niwas in the kitchen, preparing breakfast as usual. Rishita was gushing about her date with Dev last night and how they had spent the night dancing under the stars. Shiva chuckled at her foolishness but stopped when he saw how Raavi’s face had dropped. Rishita didn’t notice the sudden change in mood and kept rambling about how romantic her Dev was.
“Uss bhootnath ko toh romance ka r bhi nahi aata hai. Jab dekho bas store ya sone main laga rehta hai.” Raavi complained. She had just wanted to spend a few moments with her husband, was that too much to ask?
Rishita stopped her rambling and put her hand on Raavi’s shoulder. The two of them had grown closer as time healed all the woes between them. “Pata hai voh mujhe kabhi dinner ke liye nahi leker jaata hai. Maine ek baar pucha toh usna kaha ke voh mujhe hi dinner main khajayega. Bas uss gadhere se sex karwalo lekin ab uske liya be time nahi hai.”
Shiva chuckled while remembering the exact scene she was describing. It wasn’t his fault that she was looking extra hot that day and he would much rather ravish her than some measly outside food. And oh boy did he take his time with her that night. Shiva snapped out of his daydream when he heard Dhara Bhabhi awkwardly coughing.
Raavi quickly realized who her audience was and blushed profusely, silently cursing her big mouth. She ran away from the kitchen in shyness, not realizing that Shiva had been listening in on her conversation. Dhara and Rishita giggled at her antics and soon noticed Shiva.
“Aare Shiva tu yaha?” Dhara beckoned him to come in. “Voh Bhabhi main breakfast karne aaye tha, bahoth bhook lagi hain”, Shiva said while rubbing his stomach.
“Tujhe ye wala breakfast chahiye ya Raavi wala”, Rishita teased him mercilessly. Shiva felt awkward as both of his Bhabhis laughed. He also ran away from the kitchen but not before yelling, “Aaj ka lunch uss chipkali ke haath bhij wade na Bhabhi. Dono khalunga sooth samay.”

Raavi huffed in annoyance while packing her husband’s lunch. On any normal day she wouldn’t mind preparing food for him and dropping it off, in fact she quite enjoyed it. However today, she was in no mood to serve anything but silent glares to her ignorant husband. She made her way to Pandya Store, counting the number of steps it took to get there. Each step would be one minute that pisaach would have to spend away from her.
She stepped into the store prepared to chew out her poor husband but was soon engulfed in what seem liked a never-ending soft blanket. She looked up at the petals falling from a net hooked to the door, smiling as each one delicately hit her face and fell to the ground. They weren’t the typical red ones that were shown in movies or television shows but rather an array of petals from different flowers. She quickly realized that there were the ones from the garden behind their house while means someone has individually picked them out. She grabbed handful and brought them up to her nose, seeking comfort in their freshness.
She noticed a small piece of paper among the petals and picked it up in confusion. She opened it up and found a small note scribbled onto it. “Vaise toh tu phoolkumari hai par teri jo muskurahath hai phoolo ko dekh kar sach mein mujhe deewana kardetha hai. Oh baby, I’m a phool just for you.” Raavi blushed at his dorky one-liners and kept reading on. “Tamatar jaise jo tera laal chehra ho chuka hai usko side main rakh aur ja apne favorite ice cream ke paas”
Raavi ran towards the cooler and grabbed her favorite ice cream, a tooti frooti. Taped to the back of it was another small note which she opened with excitement.
“Lekar aaya maine tere liye tooti frooti
Kyunki dil tune hai mera looti
Maath marne mujhe with your jhooti
Nahi toh dil mera ho jayga tooti”
She laughed at his horrible rap and even worse rhymes, but her heart was slowly melting from his small gestures. “Maana ke main koi rapper nahi hoon Badshah ki tara lekin tu toh meri dil ki rani hai. Har ek rani ek sone ki mahel pe raj karthi hai. Filhall yaha Pandya Store main sonpapdi hi milegi. Ja jakar dekh ke aa ke koi tera khazana nahi chura raha hai.”
The next note revealed yet another cheesy message, “Sona kitna sona hai, sone jaisa tera maan. Pehli baar maine kisi chipkali koh itna maaldar dekha hai. Vaise toh tujhe bataya tha ke tu chipkalion ki beauty queen hai par aaj manle tha hoon ke tu Somnath ki sabse khoobsurat ladki hai…”
“Aur aapko hukum salakho par” Raavi gasped as she found Shiva kneeling in front of her with his head bowed down. He looked up at her and sweetly smiled at her, taking in his gorgeous wife. Raavi shivered at his wandering gaze, it felt like each time he looked at her it was the first time. Her heart was overwhelmed by his gestures and she was on the brink of tears. This was genuinely the best thing anyone has ever done for her.
Shiva grabbed her ankle and placed it on his knee. Raavi started to protest but he put his finger to his lips, indicating her to let it be. Once her foot was positioned, he grabbed something from his pocket and Raavi realized that the shiny thing in Shiva’s hand is a silver anklet. It was beautiful and she admired it in awe as he wrapped it around her ankle. After clasping the chain he placed a kiss on the skin underneath the anklet and Raavi closed her eyes in shyness.
He slowly got up and encircled his arms around her. “Pasand aaya?” Shiva asked in anticipation. Raavi hummed in response and ruffled his hair. “Bahoth pasand aya. Ye anklet aur notes dono. Thank you, Shiva. Kisine kabhi bhi mere liye itna pyaara surprise kabhi nahi kara hai.”
Shiva kissed her forehead and brought her closer to him, basking in her warmth and fragrance. “Maaf karde mujhe. Pata hai ke main time nahi de paaya hoon tujhe. Yaar dukkan ne toh meri band baja diya hai lekin mujhe tere baara main nahi bhoolna chahiye tha.”
Raavi looked up at him and saw the sincerity on his face. “Mujhe tere kaam karne se koi problem nahi hai bas tujhe miss karthi hoon bahoth. I’m sorry agar maine tujhe guilty feel karwaya ya tujhe distract kiya.”
“Sorry maath bol. Tera poora haq hai mera aur mere time ke upar. Jab chahiye ho tabh manglena, ye Bhootnaath hazir hai.”
Raavi smiled in response and put her head on his shoulder. “Kise pata tha ke Somnath ka angry young man, Shiva Pandya itna romantic hosaktha hai”
Shiva teasingly bit her neck and Raavi shrieked in surprise. “Kya karaha hai koi dekh lega.” Not leaving her for even a second, Shiva closed the shutters and doors of the shop and spun her around in his arms. “Voh kya hai na, maine Rishita aur Dhara Bhabhi se promise kiya hai ke main khaana aur tujhe dono ko khajaunga. Aur tujhe toh pata hai ke jo vada main Bhabhi se kartha hoon voh toh main definitely pura kartha hoon.”
She blushed as he unpinned her dupatta and peppered kisses along her shoulder. “Tu kitna besharam hai.”
“Sirf tere liye.”
