I think cause it just made the situation that much more real for her. The sindoor reminded her that they are actually married and that she couldn't keep ignoring it.?

I think it also showed in her words nah, before the sindoor scene she was mad at shiva for leaving her, Raavi, with the Goons but after the sindoor scene, it was "his biwi"
