The extent to which she crumpled in on herself - sunny, peppy Raavi attempting to take her own life - the grimness of it all made me question if it could really be chalked down to a crush or infatuation.

Now I'm more inclined to believe that Raavi actually had feelings for Dev that went beyond a crush, unrequited but real. I still don't think it's the kind of love she makes it out to be, in her case Dev was probably puppy love. Perhaps she took that extreme step because she doesn't have any experience with proper love, this must've been her idea of it and it blew up in her face.

I agree with you about her reason for being upset, it's more about the betrayal and being kept in the dark for so long. She's got her head up in the clouds but she's a sensible girl, if Dev had opened his mouth once in all these years she wouldn't lead herself on. If Dev had clarified atleast when things reached shaadi, she would've backed out, albeit brokenhearted. She would mend her bond with him over time once she gets over the hurt. Same goes for the others, she wouldn't fault them had they just broken the news to her on time.

This. I have the exact same thoughts as Felicie. Pre-wedding it seemed like it was just her crush. And maybe it is her crush that she believes to have loved so much. But the pain in her eyes as she was marrying Shiva, the wistful glances she was throwing at Rishita during every step of the wedding ritual, it has made me question my thoughts.

You know how they say there are different types of love. So what she may have felt for Dev could be true love stemming from friendship that she misunderstood as the romantic love. The romantic love, I think she'll feel when she falls in love with Shiva.

And agree with you all on why she feels hurt. It's just that it's heartbreak, shattering of dreams, plus betrayal from people she loved and idolized. This becomes evidence in today's episode as she questions Dev that she came to him many times staying her feelings, then why did he never cleaned her misunderstanding and took things so far. Currently, her mind's clouded with all of this, but soon she'll see it clearly as the pain starts to fade and gets busy with her new life.

2nd half of the episode was much much more enjoyable. Raavi's dream was pretty funny, didn't think it was a dream sequence when we first saw it, so genuinely surprised. The Krish and Shiva scene was also really cute and I hope we get more scenes like that. Krish's one-liners😆 are truly the highlight.

Dev, for once, actually had something to say to his wife. now if only those things wouldn't go into one ear and out the other. NO respect wali aurat doesn't even want to listen to her own husband.

.

At this point, I am wondering if things are even going in her ears for it to process? 🤔🤔 The way she acts it's like her ears have been shielded by invisible soundproof walls!

you know, I never thought about what exactly it was about Dev that she liked so much and I do think I have to agree with you that she might have loved the idea of being in love. I definitely think that she had a crush on Dev when she was younger and as she grew, she held on to that feeling because it made her feel special.

I don't think she ever thought about Dev being in love with someone else because she was always vocal about her feelings. She never hid them, and so she might have figured that since no one ever said anything about Dev being in love with someone else, Not even Dev himself, she just assumed that they were okay. That's where her betrayal comes from. She based her entire being on being in love with Dev and the Pandya family, and no one said anything.

Also, the girl spent more time trying to get Shiva to like her than with the guy she claimed to love.

😂 I don't know why, but when I read this, I immediately got an idea for a story that I might or might not turn into an OS. If I do ever turn it into an OS, I'll credit you for the idea Mel!

It makes no sense. Almost weird.

I think a lot of her emotions are stemming from the unknown (like what @ML said earlier). Alice did mention that Raavi did not know Shiva had no choice in the marriage just as her. Though Dhara asked and gave him a choice to say no, Shiva most likely felt pressured from the situation, knowing Raavi almost took her life, and feeling guilty that if he said no, Dhara's reputation would be affected in Somnath. Think about it, if Dhara asked any other time (not after Rishita came), would Shiva marry Raavi? Probably not. He would probably laugh it off and tell Dhara why Raavi would be absolutely wrong for him. But Raavi doesn't know this. The only thing she knows is that Shiva said yes to the marriage before she could say yes. And knowing her history with him, she probably reasoned the only reason someone who hates her would marry her is to torture her (plus girl probably watched a ton of ITV with Anita and her Maasi). So, this is probably a temporary coping mechanism she has.

What I did not like about today's episode was Dhara panicking over the inner turmoil between the brothers, and how she tried to brush it off as a "small thing." Literally, it's not. Two lives have been ruined because of Dev and she wanted Shiva to be all happy and jolly with Dev? She needs to stop micromanaging everything and give everyone a chance to vent out their anger.

Moreover, respect should be earned, not automatically given because of their status. So, far Rishita has not done anything to earn their respect. Instead, she has been a total tone-deaf of the entire situation. As a woman, I hoped for a bit of sympathy and some regret for Raavi and her own family (she literally ran away for god's sake). However, she is only obsessed with Dev and herself only.

Shiva has every right to be angry for what he was forced to go through. Moreover, he has every right to give an earful to Dev as well. He had clearly said to Dev to clear things out with Raavi in an earlier episode and Dev just brushed it off and now Shiva was forced to pick up his mess. And bechari Raavi had no option but to comply under family pressure.

What’s with Gaumbi and Dhara always giving gyaan about respecting rishita and maryada and all 🤓...they haven’t even reprimanded rishita for her insensitivity towards Raavi and Dev cried victim and went off..Shiva was the only guy speaking facts and infact mentioned how maryaada works both ways. I would have liked them giving class to DevTa about how big of sacrifice ShiVi had to do..idhar tho both of them were busy giving Shiva gyaan..

Re Raavi dream about shiva, I think makers want to show how Raavi thinks shiva will behave with her than actually shiva being all that..not to fault Raavi but if Raavi didn’t directly jump into accusations, i feel shiva would open up more rather than him getting into the hot headed defensive mode. Maybe this is how their relationship will be, Raavi jumping into conclusions regarding shiva and him getting defensive..maybe the kidnapping seq, they’ll reach a point where they’ll atleast not think of worst of each other

only wish they wouldn’t constantly show Shiva manhandling her they have enough tashan without him constantly pulling her towards him.

idk if makers wanted it to be that way, but krish picking up raavi’s bags at Dev’s feet without any discussion with Dev felt a lot passive aggressive towards DevTa 😆 love him for that

And yeah Dhara’s constant emotional blackmail regarding kya yehi parvarish di hai main ne isn’t right...it’s almost as if no one gets the chance to vent out because it’ll hurt dhara bhabhi’s feelings.

this happened in the episode krish was caught smoking, dhara could’ve actually dealt in a nicer and more sensibly way than the emotional blackmail way. It feels almost like they are all scared of setting dhara off..
