A Termite?, A Hurdle?, A Dhoka?

It has been five and a half years, we stepped into 21^st century. However, we already started to create an image of "modern", "civilized", and people with awareness, and can make their own decisions many years before that.

Unfortunately, there is one thing, which has never changed, and there is no sigh of it to be changed. And that is "Firm Belief on Jadoon Tonna".

This belief is been practised for centuries and centuries. And we are not ready to change it and to look outside the circle, not ready to see the other side of coin, not ready to see the difference between the world today and world yesterday. We still think that getting some "tutkas" will improve our lives, will solve our problems, and heal our diseases. With these tutkas, we can conquer the world, without doing much work.

Don't you think this is "Shirk", as Muslims, we say that "Allah is one" then how can we believe that a person, who doesn't even know the translation of Quran.

Don't you think, science have developed enough that they can cure choti moti disease, then us going to people, like them, and at the end suffer more then anything?

If you think these "jadoo tuna" and these "alims" are wrong, and they are the ones who are becoming a hurdle in between, normal man and new development, then what should be done?

Yes Saba, I very much agree with you... there are so many people who is too much into it and yes i think it is a shirk. Other than just Jaadu tona, people going to those "baba" and "sahib".. I cant remember what they are called.. but yeah.. going to them and asking for the solutions of their problems and all.. even that is very shirk to me. Instead of praying to Allah, they are like worshipping those people thinking that they are the ones who will save them from hell.. and I think it is not people's fault as much as its that person whom they go see. They are the ones playing with people's Iman (ofcourse with the ones who have a weak one) n instead of showing the people right path, they put them into shirk.

Amreen they are Ajmeri Baba, and Syed Shah Sahab( I will see tv today. and get their names)
These ppl, are just making money. and fooling innocent ppl. but I think its ppl's fault too. how can they have so much trust on these ppl, and have no trust on Allah, and on themselves, that they can get out of these problems. they don't have faith on their own capbailities.
and the most funny thing is that, these ppl, who say that they are Close to Allah. are the ppl who sponsor all the films and concerts.

personally i dont believe in jadu tonna or any of these things...i dun see a purpose behind it. to me its jus fake. itz all astrology n itz clearly made haram. im not 2 sure if itz a quote frm Quran or a HAdith but iznt there something abt how if u get ur palms read ur namaz isnt accepted for 40 days...well HELLO that shud b enuf 2 show how big a "wrongness" it is....no one but Allah knows what will happen in the future and this is wrong. there is no doubt abt it and absolutly no room 2 question. wats rong is wrong. and all that taweez and stuff well i dun think that can do anything 2 u. yea i noe black magic exists ppl even did it on our dear Prophet. the cure however isnt 2 go 2 babas or get tawees or wateva else ppl do. the best cure is 2 read surah nas and surah falak they r 2 short surahs and im sure all of u noe them. well actually there is a hadith abt the power of these 2 surahs and this is what our Prophet used to get the magic off of himself. and u noe wat these surahs r grt cuz if u say them @ nite b4 going 2 sleep u wont c a bad dream.

well i think that yes Kala Amal does exist but...BUT only when a person knows about it in depth...i have heard that if u read Quran ont he wrong way then it's still a kind of Kala Amal.
BUT yes Sufi ppl like Baba Bullay Shah and others are right.
i dont believe in MANAT at all. i'll do this if this happens. but yes sometimes i do say that Allah mian plz mera yeh kaam ho jay tu main Shukranay kay Itnay nafal parhoon gi.
u know the people who sit there on teh roads n tell u that this will happen in future, then it's just fake, its not true. BUT if u believe in something then it does happen to u. i have tried it thats y i know. e.g some people believe that if Suhagan wears Blue or Black bangles or clothes or any other thing then there will be somethign bad gonna happen n yes it does but if u dont then doesnt matter.
My Friend in Pak. told me this that his Dadu believed in these things n 1 day her daughter-in-law (my friend's Chachi) wore Blue bangles n that day her husband had an accident.
i think itis stupid if u believe that oh if a black cat crosses ur way then somethign will happen.
dont know if i made a point or not but Yes Kala Amal does exist but onnly and ONLY experts know this.

* That is very right Saba... its soo funny when before the show starts they say "this show is sponsered by Ajmeri baba or Peer Syed" lolz...

* It is true that its people's fault too and that is cuz their iman is not strong enuf.. but at the same time, these people are taking its advantage.

* Yes Jaadu thing exist but misusing it haraam and other than jaadu and all, people doing and doing Sajah in front of some big murshed's mazar n all.. even that is shirk and part of these things...

You guys are right... Have you guys noticed that in their commercials about Ajmeri Baba and Peer Syed Saheb, they say that your problems will be solved and the results are 100% guaranteed.... I never understood how they can guarantee the results and if there was a way they could solve all the problems how is it that so many problems still exist... I don't believe in these things... I think that this is shirk... Only Allah can solve your problems and something can only happen if Allah wants it to happen, so to say that the results are guaranteed is very wrong and baseless...
On a lighter note, have you guys seen the new commercial for Ajmeri Baba, where these people are being interviewed and one of the mothers say that merey bete ko drugs ki adat par gai thi, par Ajmeri baba ki wajah say now he is the best son... I think this commercial is so hilarious, I can't stop laughing whenever I watch it...

I agree with you, Javeria.. I have also heard that if you have your palms read, your namaz is not accepted for a certain period of time...

i also agree with Saba bcoz she is right that this jadoo toona is not changed and belive me will never change. people still belive in all this well i don't belive on all this and i have also seen those commercails on T.V it's jeeven main perashani ho,koee bhi masla ho call Ajmeri Baba n is the person to whom u wana get married is going away from u call Peer Sayed Sahib n parivar ka masly hoon ya karobar k call Doctor S.Shahid yarr u know wat sometimes i feel like giving them a slap.jitna time yeh loog in cheezon per khurch karty hia utna Ebadut ker liya karain tu shaiyed Allah en k gunah maff ker dey lol
