The characters in this drama behave and react exactly how they have been shown and hats off to the writer for that.

I'm also liking the love story slowly unfolding between Nashwa and Burhan.

And other than the obvious villains, I'm glad the other characters are shown to have basic human empathy.

All the actors are doing a so well and I guess it does make it easy for the actors too when their characters are well etched.

QEJ tips have dropped terribly. Sat TRP is only 5.2. Sat there was no match.

Dastak is steal leading the slot with 9.1 tips.

I am so sad. QEJ should not have come on Sat. Sat 8Pm dramas don't work for HUM. Plus MMM is also there

It was deserved. It dropped for a reason. I cannot say it out loud or will get crucified and have blasphemy accusations on me from some here.

Also, the story was stalling at the house dynamics only. I don't mind. I love it. I can have it go on. I love the house dynamics and I need no romance. I love Bisma Asim story though. But the neutrals want Bisma to take action or have a more solid career direction for Nashwa. Basically take Nashwa Burhan story and make it move. Also, people want to know what happens to Ammar and the Mahi case.

Nashwa has layers. Dado and Taya too. So does Asim and Bisma. They have issues and complexes. And so does Ammar. He has layers. All are very human portrayals. Faryal and Qudsiya too. They're soft but have boundaries. Very interesting to watch. Negative, evil, positive, neutral or even helpless.

But some nibbis and 32 42 year old who never grow up and only like a main male lead who is perfect and doesn't have human characteristics or flaws. They want a male angel 😇 so they got it. I hope they enjoy. I like layers and complexities and depth even when someone is a good person. You cannot have someone bland and expect trp's lol.

I like a good guy who is assertive and takes action. I like it his dynamics with everyone but even then something can lack.

Someone had too much screen time this week that made the trps drop. A character can be very charismatic on paper. I'm impressed most of the time but sometimes it doesn't click for the neutrals when they're bland too goody shoes. Overt dreamy man and all perfect is meh.

Characters can be great but an actor has to translate that well written character on screen. Every two minutes if someone tells me or reminds me a character is handsome brilliant and perfect then I'm going to question as to why I'm reminded of it a hundred times. Why can't the action, aura, presence do the trick?

I don't give a rats @$$ as to who finds this offensive (I know the shippers) but that's the reason. Please no one blame the game . The match was over

Also, the story needs moving. It is time now. We cannot have Bisma stuck on her bichari mode and no actual adalat court office scenes.

Are you trying to say it is because of USAMA, tips have dropped.

I don't why people hate USAMA so much. What more acting can he do in this show. Sometimes even the character and matters.

Not only Usama. He is doing okay. The character is very awesome.

He is part of the problem. But it's also the fact that the story needs to move. Neutrals now want Bisma Asim to take a stand. Bisma to finally put her foot down.

Burhan Nashwa is taking off...so hopefully trp improves.

But people also want to restart the Mahi case and what happens to Ammar.

This was a huge part of the drama's set up. And now there has been no word on this for so long....

Personally for me QeJ is a social commentary on women at different parts of life. It's woven so well. I love the pace. Unfortunately, it got hype for all the good reason but some who watch it for shipping or only like story might find it slow.

As to why people dislike Usama's presence or acting? Maybe he was horrible in Ghair and SMd and that has an impact. People who watched both (I did) found that sometimes his acting of those characters peak through Burhan. His voice is an issue.

And most importantly majority are loving the story and character arcs. It gives a old PTV 90s 2000s ki vibe with the dhimi and calm atmosphere.

The shippers shoving down Burhan Nashwa or Ammar Nashwa are problematic and disrupt the viewing experience with their constant whining of the need for romance no matter what the cost that is logic or storyline.

Shipping can really be a bane. The weird part is most drama viewers, especially on SM are just concerned about shipping and then the whole focus shifts from the overall story and it only becomes about the couple. If I'm not mistaken Iqtidaar makers literally changed the storyline coz of the shipping. Have seen characters and sometimes one half of the ship (and unfortunately it's usually the female) getting bashed coz the character isn't giving in to what the shippers long for. 🙄

Also in the long run shipping ends up being a bane for the actors. IMO at least actors should not promote their ships beyond their project.
