I loved every drama I watched this year surprisingly. It could be MJ, ZPKB, Jaan-e-Jahan, KMKT, Radd, Ishq Murshid and Tan Man Neelo-Neel.

Best onscreen couple would be Shehram-Mahnoor and Nofil-Meenu.. Shehram is and will always one of the best male leads PTV has ever produced. I could watch them after several years and still feel happy... its like YKS for me, even though the plot is quite common. The execution made up for it!! As for Nofil & Meenu, they were unexpected but the drama swept me off my feet, literally

We have same choice in onscreen couple. Shehram mahnoor and nofil meenu both gave such old school couple vibes 🫶🏻.

Ooo yeah shehram is one of the best male character onscreen. Same here dear, i may watch these dramas after few years and i am sure I will enjoy watching them like I enjoyed while watching for first time.

Best drama:

1/ Mann Jogi. A true masterclass. From narrative structure to story to dialogues to themes to relationship progression to performances, it was firing on all cylinders. Kept me riveted and mesmerized till the very end. Ibrahim andAliya's relationship development was one of the best ever - they accomplished the depth, nuance and transitions in their relationship and personal growth in 8-9 episodes which full drama serials cannot accomplish in 30+ episodes.

2/ Noor Jahan. This was ghissi pitti saas bahu masala done right. A shining example of what great direction and execution can do a trite same old story. The treatment felt fresh and contemporary. The way narrative held together was brilliant. There were no A,B,C plots. It was all interconnected A plot. All cktrs got to shine (Alina, Hajra) not just Saba and Kubra.

3/ KMKT. The first few episodes were rough. But Farhat's writing really came through. The relationship progression was so beautifully done - one of the best. Hania and Fahad embodied their characters truly. Fahad's natural performance in particular was mind-blowing. Less is more. Fahad was born to play Mustafa. He brought that coolness and hero aura to a guy who otherwise everyone thinks is a loser. It's Fahad's innate swag that no one could have replicated. KMKT is one of very few shows where I really enjoyed the B plot too (the Adeel-Rubab one). At times, it kept me entertained even when Musjeena's story seemed stuck.
