No. That's not correct.

The only ones who were approached before Bilal were Hamza and Ahad. Hamza was doing JeJ and Ahad asked for the whole script. The writer said that Wahaj was one of the names they were thinking, but didn't even approach him because of Tere Bin.

AKbuzz have all the inside gossip don’t they? Why can’t they get top actors for interview then? Are we going to believe a small review channel like them? If that were the case then Yumna would bark at all the negative comments that came for gentleman. And I don’t trust AKbuzz who rate SMD as a good drama and Maya as a good actress 🤣 their standards are so low why would I trust them and their sources. Also, that user brought Yumna into the equation on what basis? Yumna had nothing to do with that post Wahaj posted or SMD but she decided to bring in Yumna.

Maya being openly entitled and bitter has only made her one of the most hated actress in the industry for audiences. Does she expect respect and love from the audience for being a hard working actress? I’m happy actresses like Yumna aren’t like Maya - rubbish at their profession and then complaining about how hard their work is and asking us to always praise them. No thanks.

Didn’t Maya complain how actors like Sajal and Yumna get given the best scripts and actors like her don’t because directors and writers don’t believe they can do such scripts. Why is she hating on these actresses? It’s her fault she can’t act and then expects scripts that aren’t within her calibre. Didn’t Maya also state in an interview that actors with the most social media following get big roles/opportunies but social media following doesn’t determine how good of an actor you are - at the time Ayeza was the most followed, as well as Iqra, Mahira. Whilst I agree the more social media followers you have doesn’t correlate with how good of an actor you are - why is she being salty about these actresses mentioned above? As for Yumna’s point it’s been mentioned by others too, the more fair skinned you are and prettier you are - your offered good roles as your deemed heroine level. Sanam Saeed even mentioned this unfair behaviour. Yumna was also referring this to earlier times in her career when it was a struggle as she’s currently a top actress and along with Sajal is offered all the top scripts (a fact Maya was being salty about).

Zanjabeel is a trp magnet ..people fighting for star power ..it’s Zanjabeel who really pulls audience in more or less..she has so many hit shows to her credit ..she ain’t no pseudo intellectual writer like fake irritating psycho male writers..she writes for trps and has openly admitted to that unlike some other writers who sell themselves as the next Manto I get that right now it’s Sajal ve Yumna fights..Wahaj vs XYZ fights..Yumna vs XYZ…Nobody is even talking about writers or directors.Ae Ishq is a show that’s working well because of its director..you need a good director to pace things up basis writing..

And I'm sure Zanjabeel could write better endings if she just did it for writing only. She also mentioned about ghost writers and that she has a team. These production houses want her to write 50-60 episode thriller and that's not possible without lot of mid series off tangent topics. At least she tries new things. Besides the great umera farhat and the kum /Parizaad writer who are all novelists, Zanjabeel can hook you in.

I do have issues with the fillers in her stories and the endings but this is such a big production house problem. Quality always gets compromised when shows go above 23+ episodes.

In the era they shouldn't not be making 40+ episodes when attention span is decreasing. Just wrap it up. They are making money now but will start losing money in the long run .

Also, what is with the perfectly curled hair of a girl who was kicked out with one dress or odd dance sequences? This is a tv medium. The PH needs to understand it doesn't translate well.

Do these antics help get more trps? Maybe.

Zpkb managed to be in top 5 shows while having competition and also managed to get better views while qej without any competition isn't doing any wonders like IM did without any competition. Fyi Farrar on the same slot as GM is doing better and duniyapur and iqtidar are getting way better views and consistent rating than GM on the same green channel.

Putting a note in case of any confusion: This post is not a continuation of Crystal's and Spn's conversation. Thank you.

It was about views? Well, that makes some sense. Thank you for clarifying.

I assume that the idea was that since Yumna was asked why Merab was so loud and Ziddi and she replied with it has the most views and also that all the variety of roles she has done and some were like and some were disliked.

This brings us or rather me to a full circle. I remember when TB aired a certain episode I was there and I was a bit vocal about the team, the director and the actors not taking into account the impact of certain scenes.

I wondered if they could have said no to it or done it in a different way since neither actor were new. I'm glad there was a backlash and they were all very quiet about it. I shared this thought and the shippers and stans wouldn't have it. And that was my cue to leave.

Later on no one from the team said anything. I mean just stating that yes since the male character was portrayed in such a manner and the story didn't require or fit that incident, we will be careful going forward and be more sensitive and consistent to characters. That would have been nice.

TB getting views or Jalan or SMD or JN getting lots of views doesn't justify anything.

I don't know Maya Sajal Yumna. I don't know who they really are or nor do I care.

What Wahaj Yumna or the TB team said or didn't say is a completely different subject than what haseeb is doing. They didn't engage with public in that manner.

The thing is Haseeb talking about trp is so so different. He has been engaging with people online and just straight up calling them haters for the past two months. Maya has been kind to Wahaj when she was a bigger star before him. She can post and do whatever. It is her personal matter as to how she shows the dynamics even though many people find it odd and OTT. But it is the way she and haseeb both engaged.

People don't hate Haseeb and Maya. They hate the attempt to force down a defeated script and execution. It's embarrassing as it's too obvious

It's more about Haseeb. People are surprised that as a director and part of a group that accepts trps he is questioning it.

I mean truthfully sometimes I feel trps are like a PMs position. I'm speculating. Sometimes it's with a certain channel and then switches hand. There could be something shady or maybe not. I mean it is totally okay to say that in private or discuss in a forum or state as a viewer.

But Haseeb unfortunately needs to back it publicly. Because the time he celebrates a 17.6 then it opens the gate to other directors saying it's false.

The trp represents money for them in terms of ad revenue. If they don't back it in bad times then it will be a moot measurement.

I mean that's not bad. If they have a better and more stable way to measure trp then good for them.

I'm not a stan or a shipper. I may have some biased views. These are just my musings.
