har channel uses at min ost+promos+teasers+episodes for counting yt views. tb never reached 3M based on episodes only. ktk has not crossed 2 bn either based on episodes only. in fact even now, kam3 and tb have yt views more than 2 billion (and none over 3 bn) based on episodes only.

the thing with geo and ary yt views before was that they counted episodes + ost+ the TWO weekly teasers/promos. They did not count best scenes or shorts or all other videos ancillary to the episode. When hum announced 1 bn yt views for IM very early on, it was only possible if they had added best scenes and all the rest (which is not what other channels were doing at the time when counting yt views). IM evenetually got to the 1 bn using same metric as others just that first hum announcement was a bit premature. ab aaj ke din kon kya karta hai i do not know. whatever metric people use, I only ask for consistency in measurement across channels and shows.
