I think Kaddu expects SMD to do well but he is not an idiot to think it will do TB #s. Having Wahaj in it doesn't mean he thinks it will be as big as TB. Haseeb's previous dramas featured top superhit stars of their time - Sanam Saeed, Maya, Hamza, Sajal - and have had big budgets (remember Diyar e Dil) but they usually get awards not big TRPs.

Pretty excited about SMD and I think it’ll be a decent enough hit and bring in views and ratings like Mein did but TB / YumHaj phenomenon is rare as hell. Aisa kabhi kabhi hota hai.

Expectations should be good but also realistic. I’m looking forward to a strong story with range to perform for all these wonderful actors. Its a solid team 👍🏼

During Lux Style awards last year he was asked about whether he’ll make KAM next or TB 2 (if you remember there was a voting thing going on at the time), he did talk about budget. When asked why can’t he just make both at the same time he said budget will be spent on one 😂

So TB 2 he will definitely splurge on. Waise bhi 7th sky is known not to shy away from production $.

I looked more into this data. I am going to say something controversial but I don't think Humayun got to his 7m followers organically. This pattern of huge spikes in follower count is not a new phenomenon but that is observable for some years.

Look at the graph of monthly gained followers for Humayun. Multiple times, he gained more followers in a month than Wahaj or Bilal did at the height of their hype. Even Bilal and Wahaj during their peak era added >250k monthly followers just very small number of times. Meanwhile, during Humayun's off peak time when he did not really have projects, he was adding >250k monthly followers for many many month since 2021. In fact Humayun gained almost 500k monthly followers at least twice since 2021 but this # was never attained by Wahaj or Bilal even at their peak hype.

So when Humayun said he doesn't care about SM following, he may not have really meant it.

It always was, Hamza's character has so much screen space and depth which Iqra's character is lacking. Honestly, I wish an experienced actor should have played this role, then maybe the impact would have been bigger as otherwise the writing and direction is good. Hamza is not yet a main lead boy and the trps/views reflect the same.

But he's improving imo BTW initially I thought it will be similar to Sadqay Tumhare According to the promos but later changed to make oriented story I'm glad PTV is making a change by showing male oriented dramas like Deewangi, KTK and now BRKRJ BTW I don't have a problem with Hamza's character having screen space main problem is The family screentime i think 7.6 TRP isn't that bad trp even entourage was a male oriented drama it mostly revolved around Vince and his friends i will praise Fahad Mustafa for bringing this drama like BRKRJ

The inconsistency in his graph made me question it. He's getting 40k followers on a random day but when he's having a premiere of his show or when its episode releases on television/youtube there's no increase. He's losing followers for a few days continuously & then suddenly an increase of 40k or 50k just like that.

I've seen Bilal's graph when IM was on air. He was getting 10 to 20k followers everyday & on Sundays or whenever he posted there was an increase of 30 to 40k followers.

Same with Wahaj when his shows were on air. He was losing followers recently but when he posted after a break he started adding followers again for a few days.

When Yumna was on break her daily increase in followers was 2 to 4k but when she posted that day it was 10k+ increase in followers.

Social media is influencing Humayun for sure otherwise he wouldn't have bothered about replying fans on Twitter. He knows Yumna has a crazy fan following there. He wants that hype.
