Sunday it is at last and we got another delightful episode of ZPKB. It wasn't as eventful as the last few episodes but rather we got to see the consequences of the past few episodes playing out in this one.

Meenu's difficulties in college comes out at last showing that while we wholly support her stance regarding what she told the "groom to be", the society around her will not be the same. The teacher being mean to her was painful and I am eager to watch how Meenu will deal with this new problem.

Roshan having returned has to now face the very problems he had run away from. His scene with Muqaddas as well as the one with her father were great. The actor playing Roshan is really good. Meenu and Roshan, as others have written here, singing away as they cycle home was so heartwarming. The relationship shown between the aunt and nephew is a very important part of the beauty of this show.

And finally this show was about Dr. Nofel finding his feet in the village. Afzal compounder has a host of tricks up his sleeves to get the doctor to pack up and run away. Let us see who comes out on top in this struggle.

Really liked the scene of Afzal chasing Meenu of course! And all Dr Nofel and Meenu scenes!!! Those two are such a delight to watch on screen together.

Here is my penny worth of thought on Dr. Nofel and his girlfriend whom we saw back in the city. I think the show has chosen to deliberately not go over the fallout of the betrayal he faced at her hand apart from the scene where he breaks down and weeps in the arms of his father. Dr. Nofel is such an honest upright sort of man, that his relationship ended the moment she chose safety over truth.

His arrival in Qaiser Kala is him starting afresh. The writers have chosen to not go over the whole unpleasantness of Nofel leaving the hospital. He probably quit before they could fire him. He had this government job offer waiting for him and he took it. And now he is here right where we want him to be.

One thing about this show is every single character is entertaining .. i even find the dudes who play chairman's henchmen hilarious...

Can't wait for next week's episode.. i think something serious goes down that is why the Doctor's assistant comes looking for Nofel..

I know!! Both of them have their individual sparks of evil and it is done with such an entertaining comic touch despite not avoiding the underlying threat that could become real at any moment is done with great finesse!

I agree about Afzal compounder scene in the promo teaser. There may be some real medical emergency and this will be Dr. Nofel's turn to show his skills. Also, by saving someone's life, Nofel will perhaps unknowingly change Afzal's mind about whether Qaiser Kala needs a doctor or not.
