KA is the only sajal drama whose review i follow and her acting in KA is really good. Hassan-aamna and i guess some other reviewers said she was not that natural in the initial episodes so there is no over praising of her by reviewers for KA. She is really good in KA except her confused expressions for Asfar.But then Aaliya asfar scenes anyway don't make any sense so can't blame that on sajal's acting. Her scenes with aagaji, phupho and Salman are nicely done so her acting is also amazing in those scenes. She was great in that scene with aagaji when he told her not to work hard and he don't mind letting go of the house for her happiness.

I used to think talks of xfactor is just hogwash but its actually a thing. it's so strange to see absolutely conventionally gorgeous girl leaving no impact onscreen.

@bold she naturally has a rotlu face. Her overall gloomy aura worked for the character in ek jhooti love story but it was boring in IJ. Offscreen she looks well polished and well spoken. I liked the way she speaks in IVs during ejls promotions.

Being good looking is not the only criteria to have an impact. Look at disha patani. She is gorgeous but looks so boring on screen. Katrina is considered to be more good looking than Anushka but in jab tak hai jaan the only good parts are when Anushka is in it. Everytime katrina enters it's like she brings a dark gloomy cloud along with her.

X factor for actors and celebs in general is a big thing. The best example is srk. It's his x factor that made people love him more than salman or aamir in the 90s even though the latter two were considered to be more conventionally good looking than srk.

I think if any character annoys me I can't appreciate the acting skills. It happened with Azka and Meerub and Mahjabeen to some extent.

Even when Sajal is good in the scenes with Sherry I can't appreciate it due to the confusing plot there

IKr!! I always have felt that conventional good looks don't make you look charming and attractive. It's not for actors only, it's for common people too. Some people just look so charismatic even if they don't fit the standards of conventional beauty and some really good looking people with sharp features look boring. It also has to do a lot with how you present yourself, not necessarily talking about make up , something related to your personality which becomes visible on your face.
