It was the host who gave the slap information (not the 3 witches).

He said he got it from Bushra Ansari (who plays MB) and Wahaj.

Why would the host lie? Why would Bushra or Wahaj lie?

Sabeena in her IV I think has said that she had multiple thappad scenes but she refused to do them all and they were taken out. Why would Sabeena lie?

But Nooran had already done Merub character dirty in the script. So removing the slap scenes without any adjustments would have just amplified issues that existed already due to the way Nooran had mishandled Merub.

Maybe she fancies herself as the Sandeep Reddy Vanga of PTV and had originally imagined MK as her Arjun Reddy/Kabir Singh...who even knows?
