I know. Such things happen. Me believing or no believing these accusations make no difference, but for the accused person it must be a hell ( if he/she was innocent). I hate how in social media ppl can say what they want, gang against someone, bully , troll and none can stop it. When Misha Shafi accused Ali Zafar of assult, some ppl accused him so, but nothing was proved in front of law. I don't say that she lied, maybe she just doesn't have a proof. But in Sana and Manal's case, there is an eye witness.🤓 So let's see if they can prove it in court.😊

People start acting judge in the media and that person's life is ruined forever. Some of them are true, and generally of you know the person you'd know, and in those cases nothing actually happens. I know a senior ex-leadership from my company, I had heard that he preys on girls. Someone tagged him on MeToo but we knew about it (and that person is still thriving). There was another cases in Gurgaon (I know someone who knows the family) - the 15-16 year old - some girl just tagged him saying he raped her etc and there friends also jumped in to cyberbully on instagram. Most likelihood they were lying and the boy killed himself. False accusations can ruin lives.

Frankly end of the day, the only way these issues can be solved is to use the legal system. The more our courts are used, the stronger the judiciary becomes. Today no one wants to file a case, no one wants to fight it out. Social media/People are becoming the lawyers, the witnesses and the judges. Fight the case in the court. When more cases are fought, the less corrupt the system becomes. Better laws and policies are also formed

The problem is legal course can take years and its very hard to prove such cases and the damage is already done. The person who is accusing knows this too. Also, I doubt in developing countries like India - Pakistan laws are in place to deal with such kind of issues.

There Is No Smoke Without Fire

Accusing party are not 1-2 but many and from diverse background

designers, makeup artist, models, junior artists, actors, directors, etc.

all stories are consistent

many are famous & well know makeup artists & actors

And most importantly all this stories didn't come out within last 2-3 days... some came out even year earlier

Her regular famous co-actor who is seen taking stand for almost every celebrity whoever comes under social media fire(example: Alizeh Shah, Shehroz Sabzwari) is silent in this case.

It can't be a bulk of flying dust misunderstood as smoke... All I see is a clear blazing fire

In this case the legal action taken is nothing but display of lame unbending ego which is no help.

What is needed is only a mere 'apology' which even if one doesn't mean won't harm the accused in any way and would rather cool the situation & gather appreciation.

I'm not aware of this though. But something like this happened in AIB case too. Suddenly there were lots of "claims:

I know about AIB

but some of the stories about the accused here came out long back

Azekah Daniyal who was parallel lead in Dunk was bullied by fans when the group photo she posted during shoot didn't include the said actress, she replied something along “some people don’t think others to be worthy enough to be part of their photos and videos.”

This was ignored back then & bullying continued till fans got tired

Then the famous makeup artist naming her as rudest celebrity in insta Q&A was months ago

What I m really liking here is through sana and the fiasco and drama and blame game the MESSAGE IS SENT TO ALL INDUSTRY FRATERNITY that the behind the scenes UNSUNG HEROES should be given credit and respected and if not.....the verbal and mentals abuses and insults Won't be brushed under the carpet anymore .....thanks to social media global reach

Other rude people up the hierarchy will not think twice before daring to misbehave or abuse the subordinates.....this is very common in asian culture... specially in India Pakistan and Bangladesh....not just in media industry....in every field

I see here people calling the celebs two faced but the truth is in every field there r such rude ill mannered selfish bad tempered bad mouthing people looking down and criticizing those down the hierarchy

Just coz celebs are always on the limelight they get to bear the burnt so much which I again find very unfair

Well said!! The question is not whether people accusing are lying, question is do such things happen? And they do. And they should not. That is the basic crux.
Even if the actress was rude to one person, she should not be. Even if a guy misbehaved unknowingly with one girl, he should not. Yeh mazaak nahi hai, it’s a workplace- which demands decorum, dignity, professionalism and equity. After all, even if the said accused did so unknowingly or unintentionally it doesn’t take much to come forward in public or even in private to that person later and apologize.
