The shaadi scene was cute with how Azhar realizes all his daughters are married now and he has done a great job raising modern girls who stay true to their values. Even the part where the dadi talks about never compromising on self-respect. Although there are many questionable moments in this show, it's so refreshing to see a modern, true to values family in Pakistani shows after ages. Otherwise the rich or modern tend to be shown as dysfunctional.

Going back to the show in general:

I really appreciate this drama showing the struggles of being traumatized as a child and how it can mentally affect someone later on in life. It ended up touching on a issue that I didn't think would be shown in a while on Pakistani TV, especially 7pm.

I just cannot STAND Zain's mother though.. the disgust I have on my face when she even says a word.. 🤢 She does not deserve any happiness. I hope Zain leaves with Eshal and still takes care of her but from afar. It would be right that way.

I really wonder how is Azhar a businessman honestly. Cause how is he getting scammed so many times by Raza 😕! It is unrealistic. I thought he'd be smart.. Azhar's wife will definitely get mad at him when she finds out about Raza's fraudness . Nayab is going to be in for the shock of her life soon enough.

Ayeza has only been married for like 3 days to Ammar and already the cringe dialogues lol. "Tum mere haath thamo zindagi bhar" and blah blah, please, you haven't even talked to him properly 😆 just making up scenarios in her head

Abeeha's story is not really a story IMO. It's just a distraction from the toxicity of Eshal, stupidities of Nayab and Ayeza. 😆. I do like it though, at least one of the sisters is wholesome and happy with her life and husband.

The show is definitely being carried by Eshal's story, because that's also why I am watching still.

Thank you for the overview. I always ask myself if I should've remained watching this show. What is going on and so.. sometimes I watch Ayeza and her husband. I find them a refreshing couple. I love Kanwal Khan.. and she looks gr8 with Asim Mehmood. Azfu has nothing to do in this show it seems. And from the promos it seems like friendship between Abeeha and Azfu's cousin is growing. So I think Azfu will die and Danial will stand by Abeeha. Her happiness can't last forever. And good husbands always die.😒

Azfar is a guest appearance in this. So it’s guaranteed he will be gone😆

I didn't know Azfu is only doing a cameo here.😲 So this is why he is very cute.😃

Yea, I was surprised too when he had a positive character😆. I looked at the credits n he is listed as guest appearance.

Sadly he's been doing negative or grey characters since a long time now. 😒 I hope he gets liked here by producers , and he gets some good offers in future. 😃

I don’t think that will be happening for a while atleast. He is busy with his morning show rn n will probably do his typical fahim burney dramas on the side.

Still following this show but it has visibly slowed down a bit (obviously as it is daily, but still decent pace). I am sad that Zain's mom is only being nice for a motive of having a child; so evil 😔. I feel like things will really hit the roof this time when Eshal finds out.

Dadi toh rishtey banane mein lag gayi Abeeha k liye. Dont understand motive behind it tbh. I guess it's cause shes already living in her sasural so she feels Moosa will keep her well. Moosa is a good well-written character; I think a plus point in this soap is that some of the characters do have depth to them.

Ammar role is bit reduced because he is abroad, but I think his character shows a deep issue that many kids have with their parents in Pakistan which is love marriage or not marrying parent's choice. He was apparently so scared that he had a whole kid and still couldn't tell his parents. And tbh, his mom saying that she would tell him to leave her if there was not a kid, is pretty below-the-belt. Yea Ammar is wrong but ismein Aila ki kya galti? And she was the first wife too; at least that's my POV.

Raza and Nayab's story is funniest because so far there's been least movement in this one. Matlab sab itnay ghoom hai ke they don't understand that Raza is greedy. But at the same time I don't know why but I feel Raza's change is possible. Because I feel like he does genuinely like her to an extent.
