I am the kind of person who doesn't let actors' personal lives colour my opinion of them as actors but I avoid anything from the husband-wife duo because I can't stand them. If there is a show that I otherwise like and it has them as a supporting character, I'm skipping all their scenes.

I have not watched interviews or shows on Hira before she came on dramas so idk how she behaved but on one of the recent shows she and Mani made fun of some actors and I found that very odd. Someone in the forum said that they used to do that in their show. Degrading some other actor for your popularity is horrible. I had watched an interview where Hira said that Imran didn't want to work with her and Mani backed down a little because of that. But she said in such a way like as if Mani was making a huge sacrifice. In the same interview she also mentioned on how she was first attracted to Mani and his show because of his style to mock actors and all. 🤓I think the whole idea they have about entertainment is different. In the recent interviews I haven't seen her speaking ill of any other actors thou. Guess she is changing herself or trying to act different as there are more people who follow her now and now that she has made some place in the industry.

@ bold I agree. At first I thought that he was a real good husband but sometimes it feels like hes constantly promoting her and trying to shove her down the audience throat. Not only Mani, also her brothers really treat her like a superior. She mentioned in an interview that how she has 4 brothers and being the only sister she has been pampered. Her brothers even said how she was like that spoiled one in the family and how they use to treat her differently. Hira said one of her brother used to praise her all the time and act like she was a famous personality even before she was in the show business. And now Mani does the same. So it's kinda clear on why she would behave a certain way and believe she is better than many actors. I don't really blame her for that.

Not guilty or as such but I guess Hira has matured now. I feel that Hira behaved or acted so because she had seen being done this way. Hira got married at a very young age. 19 is an age where one doesn't have their mind or even their thinking capacity is very low. Even if they make their own decisions, they kinda get influenced a lot by other older people. Hira probably started mocking or other actors cause Mani did the same. And maybe she felt that was right. She just followed his footsteps and now maybe she realised or matured enough to realise that's this is wrong. Or she's just smart enough now to realise that speaking such things will get her into trouble.

I agree with what you said, I blame people around her for never trying to correct her and just increasing her ego more .I think she is being smart enough to realize that, it is not right to pass comments or else people won't work with her and then she will have to face them and then she won't be able to meet eye to eye.

Yeah she said, mujhe bachpan se ek ghar chahiye tha usmein gardan ho aur mujhe aisi car chahiye thi, mani ne mujhe woh sab kuch diya joh mujhe chahiye tha, what else does that mean? come on Mani kaunsa Hero tha, isko actress banna tha aur woh Mani ki wajah se bangayi.

People who follow Mani and Hira, they know about them very well, i still remember their show, itana rude hai na yeh dono. maine woh show dekhna band kar diya.

Samina Peerzada ke talk show mein, she said mujhe bachpan se ek ghar chahiye tha jismein gardan ho, car ho, mujhe joh kuch bhi chahiye tha Mani ne mujhe sab kuch diya. ( aur bhi Interviews hain)

She even accepted ke usse humesha se actress banna tha aur usmein bhi Mani ne help ki, clearly she married him to achieve her goals, which is not bad but yeh joh pyar ka naatak karti rehti hai mujhe usse problem hai.

And Mani the less said, the better, Umer Sharifs show (old show) and recent interviews, aur pata nahi kaha kaha he said, ke Hira ke friend todhi moti thi. ek baar hua, 2 baar hua but baar baar.

Imagine, her friend must be feeling insecure, a guy rejected her and married her friend because of weight issues

I was just watching her interview with Samina, and she comes across unlikable. She had an affair with her friend's partner, and she was engaged to someone else as well!

Also, it sounds like she's lying about her age as well. In the interview, she says when she first went to meet mani, Taal had just come out and she wanted permed hair like Aishwarya. Taal came out in 1999. So let's say she was about sixteen at that time, that would make her at least 36 now.

She says she's 30, which would have made her 10 years old when she went to meet Mani for the first time...
