HIP Exclusive: Shuja Haider to compose and sing OST of Alif

There's some really great music coming out in Pakistan these days and the music scene in the country is on full fledge -- honestly, we're loving every bit of it.

If there is one songwriter, composer, singer, music director and record producer -- master of all jacks -- that can be credited for the revival of music industry, it has to be none other than the maestro Shuja Haider. He has already established himself as a playback singer for movies like Khuda Kay Liye and Bol and made his debut in television as a composer and vocalist with Mann Mayal, then proceeding to give hits such as Tau Dil Ka Kiya Huaand Baaghi, to name a few.

If you are already a huge fan of his work and voice, then we have some great news to share with you. Shuja is gearing up to compose as well as sing the OST of the highly anticipated play Alif which stars Hamza Ali Abbasi, Kubra Khan and Sajal Aly in the lead under the direction of - Mann Mayal fame - Haseeb Hassan.

Wanting to know more we got in touch with the ace musician and this is what he shared with us,

"I will be singing the OST of Alif which has also been written by me".

The song is a sure shot to become another hit under his belt, with the confidence Shuja said further, "There will also be a collaboration of few singers in the song and it will be released very soon. The track has a very strong message in it as the concept behind the play will reflect the song. It basically talks about the connection between you and your maker."

Although the names of singers who will be a part of the song are under consideration at the moment, we are already in love with the few words Shuja has released on his social media regarding the OST of Alif.
