Yup I am talking about Ali Josh's character. He is younger than Nadia but I have no idea whether they will show him as being younger in the show. Nadia is only like 5 years older than him in real life so technically they can show both to be the same age in the show. So far, I cannot say whether it will be a younger man older woman romance but in the show, currently, Ali Josh is a divorcee and Nadia Khan's character is married with two kids. Looks like it will be a post-divorce, second chance at love sort of plot with women empowerment.

Anyways, you know me, I like watching shows with unconventional pairings which is why I watched Badnaam and the pairing in this show is as unconventional as it gets.

Not to mention, I just realized that one of my favourite models from the mid-2000s is in this show. Haven't seen him in years so looks like he only recently started pursuing acting.

I am also liking this show the amount of emotional abuse that no good of her husband does with her is unbearable. She is in a abusive relationship and she needs to grow a spine.

I can not wait to Maham and Tanveer character to meet more and develop a relationship.

Yay! There is finally someone else watching the show with me. I thought I would be talking to myself the entire time here.

So far, it's quite realistic the way in which they have presented an abusive relationship. Maham is a kind, educated, hard-working, and financially independent woman but her husband has slowly brought her self-esteem down. Moeez has managed to worm his way into being in control even though he is a loser. I appreciate that the makers have shown that an abusive relationship doesn't necessary have to be of a physically violent nature but can be emotional too. Moeez is cunning and manipulative. He knows when to play nice, making his wife happy and he knows when to bring her down. He keeps her love for him intact and uses that to control her too. It's all done so subtly that Maham doesn't even realize how it has influenced her and changed her.

Maham and Taimoor are going to meet next week. I am so excited!

That's the thing about emotional abuse it's systematic and most do not realize that this is also an abuse, physical can be seen.

This is where Taimoor will come in and make her realize that she is not what Moiz has said.

Taimoor and Maham finally met! In their very first meeting, Taimoor saw through her soul. He practically read her like an open book; there is an emptiness within her and that she has never made her own decisions. Poor Tainoor is going to have a tough time; there is an invisible thread pulling him towards Maham.

I was disappointed we didn't get to see their second meeting or their scene in the car. She looked so happy, she had a genuine smile on her face which is something that has never happened in front of Moeez.

Back to the emotional abuse. Moeez is so damn manipulative. He is a weasel and a leech! Maham is a puppet in his hands and he is sucking the life force out of her.

Glad they tied up all the loose ends in this final episode but there should have been one more episode. Moiz gives the divorce in this episode and the last episode could have been given to Maham-Taimoor's love story or at least they could have given us a longer final episode.

The problem with this show was the amount of focus and screen-time given to Moiz when they should have focused more on Maham's getting stronger. Moiz and his mother's scenes were way too repetitive. If the divorce had happened earlier, we could have gotten a few episodes of Maham's journey in gaining back her independence and strength along with her growing bond with Taimoor to finally them finding love in each other.

I did love what Sawera did to Moiz. He deserved it but it didn't make a huge impact on him. Instead he was ready for his next money-making prey. Sawera also indirectly saved Maham from Moiz.

Glad Maham accepted Taimoor's proposal. I was afraid that she was going to friendzone him even after the divorce. Throughout the show I was like Taimoor you idiot in love why did you go and fall in love with a woman you couldn't get but he got his happy ending so yay!

Finally, Taimoor is a wonderful hero. Such a kind, respectful, and sweet man. Such heroes are rare on TV.

I knew Taimoor would be the one who would bring the real Maham back, not the one that Moiz made.

Taimoor is a gem of a person, do we really have such men in this real world or they are just found in TV land. Maybe 1% out of 99%, men are like Taimoor in real world. You will find plenty of men like Moiz.

I am happy Maham agreed to give Taimoor's proposal a try and even his sister came around.also encouraged him to go after her. They way he answered her all the grievances was so cool, I guess that put her to ease and made her say Yes.
