You're right, Avani. He only took up this offer to work with Balaji and quite possibly to form a rapport with Ekta. From where I stand, I see Mishal as being somewhat frenzied in regards to his career as an actor. He's had very high ambitions that he hasn't had the privilege of achieving just yet. For someone approaching thirty-five, I'm sure he's nervous about the direction of his career. I think he took the first ten years of his acting career too leisurely hoping for projects to fall in his lap. At the end of the day, he wasn't dependent on acting for his bread and butter which is why we didn't see much of him onscreen.🤔 I think he's now trying to network with the right people in the industry for the right opportunities. It isn't that television actors haven't made it to the big screen, but it was their persistence in acting that got them that far. Some made it through their talent and others through their networks. Mishal may have had an epiphany recently which has lead him to debatable decisions in his life. 😳Unfortunately, we have no other choice but to put up with a redundant story for our favourite actor. Look on the bright side Avani, Sami is always busy with projects that have strong scripts and bold characters. I'm confident he'll make up for what Mishal's lacking on his show.😉🤗

PS - I'm so excited for Sami's movie to come out!

Sami is a very strong performer, Mish. This might just be my opinion, but I think he outperforms Fawad and Mikaal both. ☺️ I see both as the personifications of Prince Charming and thus understand why they have so many fans drooling over them.👍🏼 I think their appeal has a lot to do with their looks aside from good acting skills of course.😉 Sami is Pakistan's version of Mishal in the sense that he can master any role thrown his way with flying colours. Who else could play an incredibly grouchy character like Zaid in WMDT to such perfection other than Sami or Mishal? Who else could play a horrible demon like Haasan in Khudgarz other than Sami with the same panache? 😈I've seen Fawad playing a grouchy character and he failed at the task. Mikaal wouldn't be convincing in that kind of a role either.😳 I've also seen Sami playing Prince Charming in TDKKH and he was mighty impressive!😊

Khalil ur Rehman Qamar's Kaaf Kangana will star Sami Khan and Eshal Fayyaz

Writer-director Khalil ur Rehman Qamar's next, Kaaf Kangana saw various shifts in terms of casting but it has been finally locked. The film will feature Sami Khan and model turned actor Eshal Fayyaz in lead roles, according to Qamar.

"Eshal Fayyaz will be playing the lead opposite Sami Khan, who was part of the project since the beginning, he told instep on the sidelines of a recent event. "We have begun shooting for it; 30 per cent of the shoot is done and we plan to release it on Eid ul Azha this year.

Sami is currently essaying the protagonist in multiple TV plays while Eshal has also appeared in a bunch of TV plays aside from her modeling assignments.

Initially, Farhan Saeed was supposed to be making his big screen debut with Kaaf Kangana but it didn't materialize. This was followed by the news of Sohai Ali Abro playing the titular role of Kangana while Urwa Hocane was also taken on board for the same role but none of them are part of the film anymore.

"Earlier Farhan was there but unluckily he is not there anymore, the acclaimed writer-director added.

Aside from Kaaf Kangana, Khalil ur Rehman is also writing a film for Humayun Saeed, that will be directed by Nadeem Baig. He earlier collaborated with the duo for Punjab Nahi Jaungi that turned out to be huge success at the box office.

Avani, have you watched Tau Dil Ka Kya Huwa? I really think you should being such an ardent fan of Sami's. The story is a little loopy in the middle, but he excels as always in his performance. I also think you would appreciate the antagonist of the drama. A very strong performer who always dons interesting characters!👏 I recall Sami being a part of another show the year before titled Dhani. It starred the same actress as his co-actress in WMDT.😉 I haven't watched that drama either, but heard from someone that it was also a hit with the audience.😊

Another actor that I absolutely adore is Ahad Raza Mir! What a young bundle of talent!👏 His transformation in YKS was beyond impressive. His father and grandfather were both actors, so the acting gene is embedded in his DNA.😉 Any word on when to expect Aangan to be out? The cast is a dream come true!👍🏼
