Yeh to saare naam change kar diye hain.

The DSP opposite Rabab was Subuktageen, and the man opposite Sajal (Rabab's sister) was Ahtesham. And there was no reporter or anyone called Ali in the novel. I think kaafi kuch change kar diya hai inhone.

I'l try it out too. It looks like they have changed certain elements in the story, which I am looking forward to see. I really liked the original novel but won't mind a revised version. Having said that, I do believe that sometimes a good character or director can bring out the best acting from an average actor.

I am glad that we have someone who read the novel here. It will be interesting if you share some spoilers too, when the story start getting depressing. 😃

ARD ZAMANO KA SAWERA ARY DIGITAL EXCLUSIVE DRAMA!

Never judge somebody's character based on the words of another.

Rubab is an innocent girl, who along with her family lives with her uncle after the death of her father. Her aunt and her cousins hate her and always try to create problems in her life.

Her cousin is a drug addict who was caught red-handed and puts all the blame on Rubab. She creates a scenario where everybody believes Rubab as the culprit.

Meer is a police inspector, who investigates this case and does not believe Rubab.Nobody supports Rubab except her sister Sajjal, who is as innocent as her sister and faces the same problem as her sister does.

Meer marries Rubab, purely arranged and finds out that his wife is the same girl, who was caught for drugs and starts hating her even more.

Another character of the drama, Aly, who is a rich man and in love with Sajjal.Sajjal's aunt wishes Aly to marry her daughter but he finally marries her.
On the other hand,

Meer starts to investigate Rubab's case again with Aly's assistance to find whether his wife is innocent or not.

I did. it was good. Komal acting has improved since her Bey Khudi days. I loved her character. but that scene which she made infront of those ppl who came for her cousin's rishta will add to the hatred her uncle's wife has for her.

The other sister Sajjal is just ok. Shehroz as Meer is good. His relationship with his step mom left some question marks in my head. Looking forward to watch the next epi.😃

it was a little overdramatic, but okay on the whole. Meer's story has been totally changed from the novel, so I'm excited to see how they're going to show the differences that arise between him and his dad. Rubab's family has been compressed to one aunt and uncle and their two kids, where as in the novel, they had 3 tayas and tayis and their numerous kids, including the 2 cousins who get her in trouble. The character , Fahad , who is the eldest chachi's son is yet to be introduced, and he takes an interest in Sajal in the novel, but it's not serious and he isn't sincere . I'm waiting to see if that's been changed here. If you see the promo, as Sajal is going away as a bride with Ali, Fahad is watching her from the terrace. I got a feeling that he's more serious about her in the show.

Awida, yaar scene to us ne novel main create kiya tha. The difference is that the guests are the eldest aunt's daughter's in laws (she's engaged) and she's only 14/15 (usi din 10th grade ke last papers de ke ayi thi) , and she looks like a boy to the extent that one of the devars actually says to her, yaar mere paas aake baith jao main bore hogaya in ladies main.

Another difference- in the show, her eldest taya is a kamina , he takes over their dad's factory and lies to them that it's running on losses, gives them a measely amount each month. Here, from the looks of it, Behroz's character is at least not stealing from them . yet.

@SS88. Thanks for the infos. I am glad they reduced the family members' number. I can barely remember the names. my Urdu isn't that good.. so many characters confuse me !

From the promo , she'll cut her hair short next epi..and look like a boy. I like it this way. It goes well with TV audience. 😊
