The leads are the one who choose to do the show. ImI sure both Sara and agha had many other scripts to choose from since they are a popular couple. But the fact that they decided to potray these dumb characters and represent the message that the writers want to say makes them liable enough. Who is to say and their other dramas wontw be the same since they clearly had no qualms playing Shameer and Azra.
Maybe they don't enough stories where both can act together. So, they chose such crappy ones
