I don't think I've been this excited about an episode since the engagement Epi, :
so lets get started...
I do have to say, Maaz/Raeed's acting sort of seemed like a let down in yesterday's episode, I would've liked for him to emote more...although he didn't need to scream and screech, and being calm is in his nature, like faraaz,a tad bit more emotion would've been nice...
He did a good job in the phone call scene...with his broken voice and the dialogues written for him were quite apt.
Ayna on the other end is worried like a true mother esp since mohsin didn't allow her to follow him... and
The true question is where was saajal during all of this 😆 was she not worried like Ayna?
I loved loved loved the scene between Maaz, Ayna and Faraaz ---( Fobby, where ever you are, can you see these three as a family 😆 , cause I can 😆 ) Esp Faraaz, forget Mohsin,
someone find me a Faraaz, He's so calm and collected. unlike Alia and Mohsin, maybe he was the black sheep/ adopted too 🤣😳
Even in the Mohsin-Faraaz Scene, Faraaz stands up for the truth and his dialogue to Mohsin
" you've seen his character, his mannerisms and those didn't discourage you from accepting him as you son-in-law so why does his birth/details affect you so? " 👏👏👏
For once, The MaRa scene didn't annoy me.
As Charms said yesterday, We liked Maaz and Raania separately. they were well developed characters but when both were put together, they seemed like one facted teenagers in love and there wasn't anything deeper/ below surface level..
but both of them are quite wiser than their years...and their conversation---both have been raised by parents who aren't their birth parents but they never managed to feel otherwise.
PART 2:
OH FARAAZ SAID IT! " Mohsin's Zid and Ana" isn't the whole show revolved around this 😆 and no one has managed to say it to Mohsin's face except Faraaz yet...👏
AHH! So the reason Mohsin is super duper mad is because he was betrayed by his sister, ( Aia) and now his brother, and also by his wife, although he doesn't know that yet...😳...he only thinks that Aania is an accomplice to Faraaz and Sajal...
Faraaz: Rishto ko nibhana kay liye, Lachak raakh ni par thi hai"
👏👏
Faraaz has the best dialogues today..
Y;all my heart is breaking seeing these brothers fight 🥺🥺
Only, Mohsin wants Maaz to divorce Raania and Ayna is totally against it for obvious reasons..
plus she knows what it feels like to be betrayed and divorced and bear the brunt of society...
Which brings me to a question of why do men in general / dramas take divorce so lightly?
har baat baat par talaq? I seriously have issues with this...😳 I think it promotes marriage as to something that is very easily breakable...when in fact it is so complex. not only are you bringing one rishta/relationship but many others as well...marriage is a foundational building block in life, and while just because it is this, many people who should not be together / remain together, even with abusive/unhealthy realtionships ( which is also wrong). but that's a separate story for later...
Thank god Maaz showed up for once ...I know we all love mohsin and all but seriously, if this was any other, any other show Mohsin is a terrible father and husband--* IF THIS WAS A DIFFERENT SHOW* although one can argue, he still is 🤓 but all the other characters know his children more than he himself knows Raania and Taabi, so this "mere bachay, mere bachay Jaap is annoying even for mohsin himself.
Faraaz: "Not every problem
in life can be solved by screaming, yelling "
WHERE WERE YOU WHEN YOU HAD TO TELL MOHSIN THIS YEARS AGO?! 🤔😳
Faraaz seriously needs to write a book, " Wise words by forever chill man, Faraaz. " I'd buy it in a heartbeat. and if you all pitch in, we can promote it too. 😆
PART 3:
alright,
I believe the sole purpose of that Raania-Ayna-Taabi conversation was to remind Ayna of the obstacles she had to go through..
1) Raania said, Agar baaba de Talaq delwadi toh? If mohsin manages to get Maaz to divorce her?
Mohsin=Imraan's father ( Abid Ali) the man was hellbent on having his son divorce Ayna, he managed to do so too. and ultimately was the only thing that made Imraan come back home to him after he left with Imraan..
I truely believe the scene where the police takes Imraan, and followed by his father's manipulation didn't happen, then Ayna and Imraan would have lasted or atleast had another chance...
2)Raania: if it happens, I'll do something to myself: after having the divorce papers handed to her, Ayna slit her wrist in front of Imraan's mother..
and last but not the least,
Ayna's promise " to never let something like this happen" Not only is she promising her daughter to safeguard her happiness, she's promising her past self that she was helpless at the time, her mother , saajal, no one was there for her but Ayna is ride or die...she's die ( I hope not) for Raania/her kids/ anyone she loves or go to the end of the world for them.
Ayna is one of the most spectacular heroines I've managed to watch in recent times. The others are Zuleka ( MNYH ) and Anmol ( Dillagi)...the wonderful part is not that they are righteous but they are flawed. and that makes them more human.
