Btw . do you know I watched few shows of the girl eloping to get married to her lover, like : Teri Bina and Kuch Na Kaho .(There she didn't elope be get secretly married). But what I find it good in Hiddat is that it is more realistic than other shows. Nimra faced the bad world soon after she eloped, she didn't get married, all her dreams are shattered , and her life and dear ones lives become like a hell. a gr8 message by show makers.

The problem is all these messages are for only the girls...There are no messages for the guys and they usually get away with these same things in terms of getting forgiven by their wives/families at the end of the show while the girl is shown to be doomed to destruction...(Many examples but one on the top of my mind is the recent show Titli...)

@CF. Many of the lead men also get their due of punishment like Azfu in Nazre Bad, Zahid in Naimat and Ahsan in Udaari. Even Asad Zaman in Kuch Na Kaho lost his love and son due to his greed.

I haven't watched the other shows except Udaari and Kuch Na Kaho...Ahsan in Udaari is not a good example as we are not talking about the evil people here...

I think we are talking about the normal people and normal human feelings like love,etc. .Almost every other show is about the girls being taught a lesson because they chose to live a life of their own, but men hardly ever go through the same fate...

Hw can ppl support rapist , just bcz he is d lead of dat shw
Cmn A rapist is rapist he deserves punishment but nope ppl r expecting heroine shd Change the rapist by lovely dovely scenes

^ Exactly my point!

A male is accepted no matter how terrible he is...But the female is supposed to be all perfect and even a little deviation from the perfection and she is shown to be suffering because of it and in the end either she gets humbled because of the circumstances or be demolished...I am so tired of this hypocrisy shown through these shows! 😒

oh yes. this reminds me of Bekhudi and how Noor Hassan played the character of rapist turn husband of his victim, and how he hid his truth, and acted as a good hubby and father till he confessed , they showed him suffering but ending his life as if his tauba is accepted, with his whole family crying for him. That left me moist eyed.😭😆

Just watched promo of upcoming episode. so Nimra got married to Shabbir. I am really sorry for her. It is heartbreaking to see her dream turn into a nightmare.
